As mentioned in Srimad Bhagavatam 10. 14.4 Bhagatinam My dear Lord, devotional service unto you is the best path for self realization. If someone gives up the path and engages in the cultivation of speculative knowledge, he will simply undergo a troublesome process and will not achieve his desired result. As a person who beats an empty husk of wheat cannot get green. One who speculate. Okay, the last part. Right. Okay. A person who beats an empty husk of wheat cannot get grain. One who simply speculates cannot. One who simply speculates cannot achieve self realization. His only gain is. His only gain is trouble. Its only gain is troubled.

There are five types of liberation.

The relationship of the living entities with the perishable world is of temporary travellers. Yukta Vairakya is the proper action of mutual relation of living entity and matter. As long as this type of intelligence of the relationship of temporary and permanent does not arise, then the proper activities of the conditioned living entity do not arise.

In this material world, we are not really related to the material with the material world. Because of Maya we identify with our material body. So therefore we go after. So chanting is not a process. Chanting is not a service which we can become expert.

Chanting is not a service which in which we can become expert by doing.

Pujari for some time we become expert pujari by doing management for some time we can expert manager. We can become expert singer by singing but we cannot become expert chanter by chanting.

So you can become an expert by doing any other service like by doing puja management.

It's a whole, whole lifestyle. You have to change the lifestyle. That's why Prabhupada said that follow for regular principle is the beginning of that lifestyle. So that is first lifestyle change has to be there. Then attitude. Bhopas said our attitude determines the quality of chanting. So we should have our service attitude. We are the servant of Krishna. And Prabhupada said that just like a baby cries for the mother self while we chant the holy name, we should have that kind of attitude. Then mode of goodness. We have to bring our mode to the mode of goodness. If we are in the mode of ignorance. Mode of passion. Very difficult to have quality chanting. That's why chanting early in the morning is the best in Brahmamurta time. And chanting by sitting down is the best. Because sitting down is mode of goodness. And early morning is also mode of goodness. And chanting during daytime is mode of passion. Because daytime is mode of passion and evening time is more of ignorance. And sometimes people doesn't like to say I'm sitting down because of health problem. That's all right. But generally best quality of chanting happens when we sit down properly. And Prabhupada used to say sit properly, sit properly. Because it's a process of Bhakti Yoga. So sitting properly is very, very important. But we have a tendency to walk and walking and also doing so many other things along with walking that is not so recommended. And sometimes people become very relaxed, lie down on the bed and chant. So that is also not recommended. And one devotee, one child was telling to his parents that I want to lie down and chant. He said why? Because I heard that If I lie down and chant, then Krishna will stand and hear. And if I sit down and chant then Krishna stands and Krishna dances. And when I dance and Krishna faints, I don't want to give trouble to Krishna so that I chant the lying down so that he can in a relaxed if hear my chanting.

It has lie down in the down.

Lie down in the Dhamma is telling. Lying down in Dham is also glorious. Because if you lie down in Dham you get the benefit of Dhannavas. So don't try to follow that during chanting but benefit will be there.

But Guru Maharaj in many places has told again and again that Srila Prabhupada gave me so many instructions and you can, according to your situation, your capacity, your inclination, you can choose and help Guru Maharaj in those services. That is also equivalent to personal instruction to our Guru Maharaj. So that is very, very clear. And Guru Maharaj giving initiation, he says that chant the holy name properly 16 rounds every day and follow four regulative principles and help Guru Maharaj to fulfill the instruction. Whatever he got from Srila Prabhupada that Is open instruction, personal instruction to every disciple of Guru Maharaj. So in that way, if we accept that, then there is no confusion. So that is my understanding about this.

So for your better understanding, Bharat Maharaj did not fall down because he did not have Guru. That is not explained anywhere in Srimod Bhagavatam. So he fell down from Baba stage because it was the desire of the supreme personality of God. That is the conclusion given by Vishnu. Jaguravoddi Thakur and Jiva Goswami says that he fell down. That there can be another reason that he might have committed an offense in his early previous life to an elevated Vaishnava. But understanding is that Bharat Maharaj is falling down is the desire of the Supreme Personality of Godhead. Second point is that shelter. When you take shelter of the Supreme Personality of Godhead and his spiritual master, then possibility of falling down is very, very less. So only being with Guru Maharaj or with Vaishnava doesn't mean anything. Just like Kalakrishnadas was with Chaitanya Mahaprabhu even after that he fell down. But Haridas Thakur, he was there with the Holy Name. Even personality of Maya, the Mayadivi herself came. But he did not fall down because he took shelter of the Holy Name. So when we take shelter of the Holy Name, we take shelter of Srimad Bhagavatam and especially when we take shelter of the Sadhguru and Vishnu. Then possibility of falling down is very, very.
