The following is a talk given by His Holiness Jayapataka Swami Maharaj on August 24, 2024 in Sri Ramayapur India. The talk was given at the Namhat program for Srila Prabhupada's Vyasa Puj.
Since Balarampur, different departments, divisions, schools and other departments are celebrating Srila Prabhupada Praspuja and glorifying him. So we are very grateful to Silapad for establishing this con. He told me that I have established 108 temples around the world. At least protect and protect these temples and preserve them. And if you can increase them, that will be very good. In future we'll be able to understand the relationship with Srila Prabhupada. The bonding with Guru Once in a year during Gopnima time, he used to come here and stay for around two weeks. So he's to stay here for one and a half months throughout the year. So sometime has to come before Kartik month begins and has to stay till the end of the Kartik month. In Kartik month he usually is to stay at Brindavan at a light. One day Prabhupada saw a bright light. So around that light there were so many insects flying around the light. Everyone was thinking that why is Prabhupada looking at the insects so vividly? Prabhupada was looking at the insects flying around the light and everyone was looking at Sila Prabhupada. So that time Prabhupada looking at one devotee, he said that how these insects are flying against one another, but they are not being clashed with each other. And how about London? Prabhupada said that but some of the airplanes they're flying in the airports in the mid air, sometimes they crash with each other. But these insects are not meeting any accidents. That's how Prabhupada used to give us the teachings all the time. Once Prabhupada was here in Mayapur and he was walking on the banks of the Jalangi River. Agarwal second ACTOR LOCATION that time a man came there and he was wearing a turban. Then Prabhupada said to the disciples that when you go together, you can also put a turban like this. So that's how Prabhupada was Teaching how we can go. And that time he left. He came down. That time Prabhupada said that he can come down and we can make spiritual advancements in this way and take teachings from him. At the time Prabhupada was saying that the cost of the ropes how it can get it from Navajo.
Guruma is saying the pastime about how Prabhupada was bargaining with a vegetable seller and he got a basket of vegetables in his head and Prabhupada asked him to get it down. Then Prabhupada was saying, you go to the Navadvip and sell whole day. Instead of that I buy whole thing. So then you can go to your home and you can do other works. So Guruma is explaining that pastime.
That time Prupa sent that man with a devotee to the kitchen and bought all the vegetables for the kitchen. That's how Prabhupada is to teach that why this and how much you should get it what headquarters? So he used to say that Mapur is the world's ritual headquarter. So that's our purpose is to teach us that how to keep the very neat and clean. One day two of his God brothers came here. That time Srila Prabhupada asked his disciple to stay outside. Because Prabhupada's God brothers was asking Srila Prabhupada that why did he use the title Srila Prabhupada? Because he was using the name of. So when Prabhupada show him his letterhead and his sign there is no Prabhupada mentioned after Srila Prabhupada's name. My disciples call me on that name. So what can I do? I never use it personally but my disciples use it. I am very grateful to all the devotees present here celebrating Srila Prabhupada's Vasa Puja. I'm very grateful for that. I was telling that Srila Prabhupada used to come to my food twice a year. So Prabhupada has a special relation with Sidham Mayapur. I'm very grateful because you all are celebrating Srila Prabhupada's appearance day festival. The real Vaspujati is after Janmaster meeting. So because it's a grand occasion on that day. So not many people get the chance to glorify Srila Prabhupada on that day. So that's why since Balarampurne on that every day there's a different celebration by different divisions, departments or schools. And everybody gets a chance to glorify Srila Prabhupada. I'll not take much time. Other speakers will also glorify.
