The following is a Srimad Bhagavatam class given by His Holiness Jaya Pataka Swami Maharaj on September 28, 2024 in Sri Ramayapur, India.

Reading from Srimad Bhagavatam 3rd Canto Chapter 9 chapter entitled Lord Brahma's Prayers for the Creative Energy Text 24 translation the Lord's potencies are innumerable as he lies down in the water of devastation. I am born as the total universal energy from the navel lake in which the lotus sprouts. I am now engaged in manifesting his diverse energies in the form of the cosmic manifestation. I therefore pray that in the cause of my material activities I may not have deviated from the vibration of the Vedic hymns. Purport by His Divine grace. Rla Prabhupada Every person engaged in the transcendental loving service of the Lord in this material world is prone is prone to to so many material activities and if one is not strong enough to protect himself against the onslaught of material affection, he may be diverted from the spiritual energy in the material creation. Brahma has to create all kinds of living entities with bodies suitable to their material conditions. Brahma wants to be protected by the Lord because he has to contact many, many vicious living entities. An ordinary Brahmana may fall down from the Brahma Tejas or the power of Brahminical excellence due to his association with many fallen conditioned souls. Brahma as the supermost Brahmana, is afraid of such fall down and therefore he prays to the Lord for protection. This is a warning for one and all in the spiritual advancement of life. Unless one is sufficiently protected by the Lord, he may fall down from his spiritual position. Therefore one has to pray constantly to the Lord for protection and the blessing to carry out one's duty. Lord Chaitanya also entrusted his missionary work to his devotees and assured them his protection against the onslaught of material affection. The path of spiritual life is stated in the Vedas to be like the edge of sharpened razor. A little inattentiveness may at once create havoc and bloodshed, but one who is the completely surrendered soul, always seeking protection from the Lord in the discharge of his entrusted duties, has no fear of falling into material contamination.

We should constantly pray to the Lord at the lotus feet of Lord Sri Krishna that we may not become deviated. I just got a news that one of my disciples who was just 30 years old left his body in Malaysia. Therefore no one can say how long he may live.

So while we are alive we want to carry out the Lord's mission deviated.

The holy name was Dino Tavana.

So the devotee's name was Dina Bhavana Narsimha Das.

So we pray that he may reach Krishna Sabha.

So we don't know how long we have to stay in the body.

Panchatatwa Thai Amader Panchata Asroi Brahun Karauchiti. Yesterday we heard from Srila Prabhupada. In his lecture.

He said that if you want to advance in Ka Consciousness, he said preach. He said bring people chanting the holy name and hold such a Krishna if you want to.

Srila Prabhupada said that if you want to advance in Ka consciousness then you should preach. You should bring people to chant the Holy name and engage in devotional service.

Generally devotees, they cannot think that oh, I have made this much advancement in Krishna consciousness, now let me preach. But Srila Prabhupada was saying that one should preach according to one's level of advancement.

No, no, no, no one. One should preach to make advancement.

Okay? One should preach to make advance.

The point is normally we think if we advance then we can preach. But Prabhupada said if you preach Then you can advance.

Translate something else.

Sometimes Sujithendria translates something else.

Every Friday in English, the Mahanaji is a class.

So we have every Friday the English Bhagavatam class is given by a Mataji.

I became very, very happy and pleased that so many Grihastas are distributed reading books. We know that the Sankirtan department, many Brahmacharis, they are distributing through the different buses and they are also trying through different book tables and other areas.

So like this there's an opportunity for everyone to share books which was very pleasing to Shiva.

Like this there is an opportunity for everyone to distribute books. And like this we should try to please Srila Prabhupada.

So I was just mentioning how you came to meet me yesterday and you introduced all the Grihasta devotees who were distributing books.

That was about far from Vasaris and the rest about.

So there were four Brahmacharis and there are about 40, 50 grihastas.

For some people receive 125 books. 125 sets.

Some people they distribute 125 sets. Maharaj did 233. Guru Maharaj distributed 777. 7, 7 sets.

Bhagavad Gitas.

Now the marathon is for Distributing Bhagavad Gitas.

Now we can distribute other books as well. But we are emphasizing on distributing Bhagavad Gitas now.

So ladies.

So some of the ladies, they had distributed 15 sets, 14 sets.

I mean, some countries don't receive as much books as our devotees.

Some countries they don't distribute as much book as our devotees.

So all the times we should pray to Krishna, we should pray to Panchitatva that we do not deviate and we should preach also.

When we preach, we actually feel very ecstatic.

When we preach, we naturally feel very ecstatic.

Lord Chai generally wanted that his followers, his devotees also preach.

So Lord Chaitanya wanted his devotees, his followers also to preach.

His divine grace. Swami Prabhupada wanted to spread the teachings of Lord Chaitanya and preach all over the world. As Lord Chaitanya predicted that in every town and village my names should be heard.

So Lord Chaitanya as preaching is going on like several lot were all.

So Lord Chaitanya's preaching is going on by Srila Prabhupada's efforts.

However, we're in a very fortunate because in India and also not badas.

We are in a fortunate place because in India there are not so much badas or obstacles.

When I was in Montreal, Canada visit in 1968 69, I was arrested.

When I was in Montreal in 196869 I was arrested Jakanami.

And there are a lot of astronauts by doing Harinam a lot of arrest there it was.

That if by doing Harinam you can get arrested.

So.

But in India I did harina many times, but I did not get arrested.

Very good place.

So India is a very good place.

Now.

Emra, There are many other South America and some other countries Caribbean, many.

Gangs in South America and some of the countries in the Caribbean there are.

At grocery stores, they have grocery shops. In grocery shops they have to have armed guards.

A grocery store in Bengali is a small shop supermarket. But this is. This was a supermarket.

Somehow some real hostels are resuming books in this environment.

So somehow some Grihasta devotees are distributing books even in this environment.

So in El Salvador, the president are waged or declared a war against all of these gangs.

In the 2%, 2% population of golden virgin. And then they had peace.

So 2% of the population was put into prison. And then they had peace.

Still the Lord is our vision and his voice.

Still devotees are preaching in these places.

This is a very honorable man.

So this is A very wonderful thing.

However, our environment is favorable, unfavorable. We are desirous of losing consciousness.

So whether our environment is favorable or unfavorable, we are desirous of pleasing.

The Lord Chaitanya. He empowered devotees to preach and he wanted them to.

So Lord Chaitanya, he empowered devotees to preach and he wanted them to spread the movement.

In some places it's illegal. Certain places a different situation.

So in some places it is illegal. Different places have different situations. It says.

In the Chaitanya Charitamrita. Chaitanya Charitamrita Balahache. Whoever has taken his birth in the holy land of India should make his life perfect and preach the message of the Lord.

So devotees, they try to spread Lord Chaitanujani.

So devotees, they try to spread Lord Caitanya's Vani to help the people.

This material world is full of danger. Therefore we have to always pray to the Panchatatwa.

So we are descended on the mercy of the Lord.

So we are dependent on the mercy of the Lord.

Charlie Charles to test you and do otherwise.

Kali tries to test you in different ways.

He finds out your weak point.

He finds out your weak points. So that could be different things for different people.

Nowadays everyone has mobile phones and many people they talk on the mobile. I have said that it is better to be a good Brahmachari. It is better to be a good Grihasta than a bad Brahmachari. Brahmachari Hai Kerika kurve. I am not saying that all the Brahmacharis are bad. But what I am saying, whether you are a Grihasta or whether you are a Brahmachari, all of you everyone will be tested by Kali.

So we take Rao the time of initiation.

So we take a vow at the time of initiation to follow the four regulative principles.

One disciple, he. He said, I'm a Ragadur. I can smoke.

One devotee, he said, I am not Ragaduga Bhakta. Oh. One devotee, he said I am a Raganuga Bhakta. So I smoke. They say that they are very advanced and then they break the regulative principles.

We have to be careful not to get influenced by these sages.

So we have to be careful not to get influenced by by these Sahajiyas.

At the same time we want to please Lord Caitanya.

When someone is inspired to practice Ka consciousness.

When someone is inspired to practice Ka consciousness we should be happy.

We don't know.

We do not know how pleasing it is when somebody is engaged in devotional service.

So we are in the Brahma Sambaraya.

So we we are in the Brahma Sampradaya.

Bhukta Brahma. He has to create river bodies, Samadhi Devoti bodies, Rakasha bodies, all kinds of bodies.

So Brahma has to create different bodies. Some are devotee bodies, some are Rakshasa bodies. All different kinds of bodies.

They already deviated by this material activities.

So he is always praying that he won't be deviated by these material activities.

So.

Devotees here are very fortunate. They have Panchatatwa Radha Madhav, Ashtasakhi Prahlad Nasangadev, Jagannath Balade Subhadra, Srishi, Mayapur Chandra.

To Bhaktara Sissy, Radhamada Washtasaki, Sisi Prahlad Risinga among Sisi Radha Madhav, Mayapur Chandra among Sri Jagannath, Baladev Shuhadra. So.

He engaged in preaching, posted Allah preaching. In this way, by the mercy of consort we can achieve all success.

So we engage in preaching and book distribution. And this way by the mercy of Panchatatwa and Sri Sri Radha Madhav we can achieve all success.

We have no excuses. Everybody we should see that everybody should preach. And this is a great necessity.

So that's the special teaching of this verse.

Guru Maharaj. Beautiful class. And you mentioned that in India it is there is great opportunity to preach. And especially in Bengal the preaching field is very fertile. Despite that, why did Lord Chaitanya discard us and go to Puri? Go to Jagannath? Why did he leave us and go to Puri? Mahaprabhu, why did Mahaprabhu? Why did we get bereft of Mahaprabhu?

You see, the students at Navadvip were offending Lord Chaitanya.

The students at Navadvip were offending Lord Caitanya. So he thought that if he would take Sannyas then people would not offend him Again.

His desire was all over.

Now his desire was to go to Vrindavan.

But his mother because of him goes down a boy as he used to get sometimes some knows about him.

But his mother requested him to stay at Jagannath Puri because she could get some news about him sometime. She said, you can go sometime to Vrindavan but you stay in Jagannath Puri. So that's why he ended up in Neelachal.

For 6 years he traveled all over India.

For 6 years he traveled all Over India.

18 years he stayed in Dharanalpuri. Also.

18 years he stayed in Jagannath Puri.

But the Lord is from Bengal came to visit him.

But the devotees from Bengal came to visit him.

Continue.

And he sent Lord Nithyananda in his place to Bengal to continue the preaching.

Since he was Agriyashta, Adani took Sannyas. He talked Nityananda to enjoy Grihasta since.

He was a Grihasta. And then he entered Sannyas. Lord Chaitanya asked Lord Nithyananda to take up Grihasta. So I don't know if this answers your question.

So also Ridya Chaitanya Prabhu has returned to Mayapur. So we would like to welcome him.

I have a small question. Thank you for the wonderful class today. It is very, very inspiring for every devotee. You mentioned that Tina Bhavana Das left his body at the age of 30. So therefore every devotee should endeavor to accept to take forward the mission of the Lord. My question is, what is the mission of the Lord? Is it simply to preach or other things also? And secondarily you mentioned that we should always pray to Panchadattva. How can we pray to Panchitatva with a simple heart and for our transcendental. For our spiritual benefit.

For our spiritual benefit. How can we pray to the Panchata with a simple heart for our spiritual benefit? The second one.

With a simple heart how can we pray?

First question was devotee left his body. So what is the mission of Allah? Only reaching and the distribution.
