20241119 Addressing Puri Parikrama Devotees and Sri Caitanya-siksamrta Class

A November 2024 YouTube recording (address by Jaya Pataka Swami and Guru Maharaj) combining devotional instruction, pilgrimage guidance, and community interaction. The speakers emphasize the significance of the Jagannath Puri parikrama and many holy sites associated with Lord Chaitanya and Jagannath, then proceed to a class reading from Sri Chaitanya Shikshamrita covering the "ten offenses" in devotional service (examples in this chunk: criticizing saintly persons; considering other deities independent of the Supreme; disrespecting the spiritual master; criticizing Vedic scriptures; dismissing the glories of the Holy Name). The video also includes personal anecdotes, guest introductions (a visiting relative), remote family video-call interaction, and ISKCON-related announcements about book distribution and upcoming events.
Sa.
Madhusudanam Lanka. But I will repeat Guru Mahj.
It's all right. Hard to be able to address these participants of the Yarannathuri Paragrama.
I am very glad to address the participants of this Rijagannath Puri Parikrama. This parikrama is mentioned in the Vedas.
And Sri Chatra is a very auspicious place.
And Sri Ketra is a very auspicious place. We have our Gaura Mandala Bhoomi and.
Then touching that.
Shri Khatra and touching their Ramana is Sri Kshetra and the and the special Jagannath Puri parikrama as.
Around.
Is the Parikrama around Jagannath Puri. Lord Chaitanya spent 24 years in Bengal. Then to Jagannath Puri.
6 years traveling around India and 6.
Years he spent traveling around India.
18 years.
And 18 years in Jagannath Puri. Both for Lord Jagannath's devotees and Lord.
Chaitanya's.
And for Chaitanya's devotees.
Prayer is very important.
This Jagannath Puri parikrama is very important. There are many places of Lord Caitanya's pastimes.
He used to do kirtan around.
He used to do kirtan around Jagannath Puri temple. He used to take darshan of Jagannath Baladev Subhatra and Sudarshan Chakra.
And there are houses of.
And there are thousands of many pastime places.
So auspicious alternative.
So this is a very auspicious opportunity.
Past.
Of Lord Jagannath and Lord Chaitanya's pastime. Places.
All over the world are taken to Vaishnav in the Dharat.
Prabhupada wanted all the devotees to take to the Vaishnava Hindu Dharma that they.
Should be allowed in the Jagannathuri temple.
So they should be allowed into Jagannath Puri temple.
So we're still holding for that.
We are still hoping for that.
And here is that how they devotees. Pandas of Lord Jagannath.
We respect all the devotees. Pandas of Lord Jagannath. Here we're meeting by the ocean and.
We are chanting Mahalandra and we are.
Chanting Maha Mantra in Oriya. Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare.
Hare.
And all the other languages.
Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare.
I hope that you can see many places Lord Jaiden.
So we hope that you can see many places of Lord Chaitanya's Leelas and his devotees like our previous Acharyas Srila Bhakti, Siddhanda, Saraswati, Thakur Prabhupada who was.
Born on the main road.
He was born on the main road where Rathayatra goes on. See the special pond and Sivalinga connected with Markande Rishi. And see the special Narendra Sarovar.
See the Masjid Body.
Gundicha. See the Mashir Body Gundicha Mandir. See the Narsingadev temple. Just next to the Gundicha temple. See Gaura Gambira where Lord Chaitanya used to stay. Right next to our Bhajan Kutir is Haridas Takur Samadhi.
And then there.
And also where Jaganna where used to sit and chant. That is also there Siddha Bakula. So there are many holy places.
Sand dunes, a large Regina and Ecstasy.
The sand dune that Lord Chaitanya thought in ecstasy.
He thought they were.
He thought they were Govardhan Hill and.
The holy place of Hazel Hanuman temple.
And there's a holy place, a special Hanuman temple and Tota Gopinath temple.
On the Bengal it was the Chamunga River.
On day the full moon on the Bay of Bengal. He thought it's a Yamuna river.

There's many other places.
There are many other places sought by Roy Howley. So we are very happy that you.
Are going around saying all the light.
That you are going around and staying in the holy places. And you are also circumlating Jagannath Puri.
People understand Lord Jagannath, the deity is shocked all over the world.
A lot of people doesn't know that the Lord Jagannath is the deity worshipped all over the world.
Yeah, Jhargana temples and many hearts.
We have Jagannath temple in many parts of the world.
The hair. The original Karnatak came to Bengal at some point.
Here. The original Jagannath came to Bengal at some point. And in Mayapur dam we also have. We also have. We also have Jagannath, Baladev Subhatra and Sudarshan Chakra.
So I wish.
I wish the best to all of you.
I'm sorry that I could not be present.
I'm sorry that I could not be present. The highlander Jayapataka Swami. They will translate summary in od.
So I've already chanted the Pranam prayers. So now we'll continue with the class. Hare Krishna. Dear devotees, today we will continue with the reading from Sri Chaitanya Shikshamrita of Srila Sachidananda bhakti Vinod Thakur so.
9.1.
10.1. Sorry. No, we read this already. Yeah. So 10 offenses. The first one criticizing saintly persons. In ethical religious scriptures, any form of criticism is considered a fault. However, considering the gradation of fault, the Tatvika Dharma shastras, that is the scriptures of devotion consider criticizing saintly persons as a major offense. Those who engage in criticism of saintly saints to not develop a rich devotional spirit due to the lack of saintly association. Just as the moon of Krishna Paksha wanes day by day, the devotion in a Vaishnava's heart similarly diminishes due to the gradual impact of criticizing saintly persons.
I don't recognize any offense to anyone here.
So I take this opportunity whether knowingly, unknowingly, if I've committed any offense to anyone here.
Please forgive me.
So please forgive me.
I hear you.
And I forgive you if you have knowingly or unknowingly criticized me. Anyway, we are not in Aparat Banjan Kulia part. But anyway.
I not here.
But I'll do it here.
So her son the Lord is around us who are criticizing many of the leaders around us.
There are some devotees in Bangladesh who are criticizing many of the leaders in Bangladesh.
Who should they criticize? Those who have nothing to do with anything critical.
They criticize those who should be criticized and those those who are not critical.
I saw none of us is very careful not to criticize anyone.
I saw Janani Vas Prabhu. He's very careful not to criticize anyone.
And hold all his service.
If the discussion goes away from his service then he walks off. What to speak of criticizing others?
So you see here that critical criticism of devotees are sanctu.
So we see here criticism of devotees who are saintly people. It's very offensive.
And this is a major offense.
This is a major offense according to the Bhakti shastras.
Criticism of silent people.
So one should be careful not to engage in any criticism of saintly people. A quotation from Bhakti Rasamruta Sindhu of Shilajit Rupa Goswami by great mercy of a dear devotee of the Lord, the semblance of Bhava suddenly becomes real Bhava by offending that devotee, even the best Bhava Bhasa gradually wanes just as the full moon in the sky gradually wanes.
So it is saying how if one offense.
There is A saying how if one offends a Vaishnava, then the devotion gradually diminishes by the blessing. The blessings of these devotees may cause our bhakti to grow. Even if one adheres perfectly to the rules of Varnasrama Dharma, without saintly association and avoiding the offense of criticizing saints, the devotional sentiment remains hidden in people's hearts. It has often been. It has often been observed. It has often been observed that due to offence of criticizing Vaishnavas, individuals who are steadfast in the practices of Varanasramat gradually fall from their moral and religious standings, eventually becoming atheistic, unethical and ultra. Ultimately living like animals without any moral sense. Therefore, criticism of saintly person should be always avoided. Should always be avoided.
I have to take. Sorry. Medicines.
I have to take so many medicines.
This one I take twice a day.
This one I take twice a day.
Once in the morning, once in the evening.
Once in the morning, once in the evening.
All right. So this shows how someone is very strict and the RN Ashram.
Anyway, this shows how one who is so strict in the Varanashram Dharma.
Devotee.
Or Sandra, by criticizing a devotee or a saintly person, eventually they become atheistic.
Unutterable, unethical and all the living like.
Animals and ultimately will be living like animals without any moral sense. Therefore, criticism of devotees or saintly people should always be avoided.
Process.
It is explained to us before the pre initiation process.
This is the first in the ten.
Offenses to the Holy Name. This is the first.
Someone gives us a nectar of the holy name.
Someone gives us the nectar of the holy name.
Elite, offend that person. Criticize that person.
If you offend that person or criticize that person, then we offend the holy name. 2. Considering Shiva and other deities to be independent of the supreme Lord. Those who consider Shiva and other deities to be separate gods and distinct from the Supreme Lord are essentially adopting a polytheistic view. Such individual lacks steadfastness and therefore cannot be devotees. The Supreme Lord is truly one and this understanding is the essence of Tattvagna, knowledge of the absolute truth. Due to lack of such understanding, they are ignorant and therefore offenders. Chanting the name of Hari does not exclude the names of Shiva and other deities, those who are actually incarnations or devotees of the Supreme Lord. One might argue that Shiva is the supreme being and Vishnu is his incarnation. And thus the name of Shiva should not be considered separate from the name of Lord Vishnu. This kind of debate is referred as sectarian argument which ultimately yields no productive outcome. The Only necessity is the worship of the Supreme Being. It's essential to have faith in the name of Hari. As the ultimate truth is Nirguna Tattva, the reality without three modes of material nature. So it is one's duty to worship Lord Hari who embodies pure Sattva, goodness, quality, without any jealousy towards the demigods, recognizing them as distinguished by their different attributes, Sattvat, rajas and Tamas as incarnations of the supreme Being, deviating from the path shown by the Vedic scriptures and scriptures that follow it and imagining other concepts can lead to disturbances. Vishnu is eternal condensed Satchitananda form In the scriptures where the worship of Shiva, Prakriti, Ganesha, Surya and Indra is described. These deities are established as Saguna. Deities are conceptualized as means to attain.
The Nirguna Brahmadis who believe the absolute truth is impersonal.
So the Mayavatis who believe the absolute truth is impersonal.
Thinking that they are a means to reach the impersonal truth.
But they worship some deities as the means to reach the impersonal truth.
Hari has original Krishna transcendental Satsudananda personalities.
Hari, Krishna or Vishnu. They are the transcendental Satchitananda personalities.
They don't have material qualities.
They don't have material qualities. They have spiritual qualities. Someone speculates and doesn't chant the name of Hari.
They are offenders.
Then they are offenders. So then they are offenders at Krishna.
What they don't have said not to listen to the Naivatis.
Lord Chaitanya said not listen to the Mayavadis. Next, as mentioned in the Shimad Bhagavad Gita 9.5, 23 and 25, those who are devotees of other gods, who worship them with faith, actually worship only Me, O son of Kunti. But they do so in a wrong way. Those who worship the demigods will take birth among the demigods. Those who worship the ancestors go to the ancestors. Those who worship ghosts and spirits will take birth among such beings. And those who worship me will live with me. The Vaishnava scriptures specify Lord Hari as the absolute truth. Param Tattva Sachidananda form. There is no conclusion that serving Hari leads to the attainment of Brahman. Therefore, the imagined form of deities should not be compared to the ultimate reality. Establishing Shiva and other deities as the absolute forms destroys both Advaitavad and Bhakti. Thus, without altering the scriptures, it is the duty of learned scholars to consider deities as either devotees of God or as Gunavatar not doing so offends the Nitya Siddha Saroopa.
Sunglasses. We will consider Shiva as also Parma Sajjada.
So in some places people also consider Shiva as Param Saty. The Devas and Devis are the devotees of the supreme Lord Hari. So by worshipping Lord Hari one achieves Golok Vrindavan or Vaikuntha where one serves the Lord in a particular Rasa, Santa Dasya, Vatsalya, Madhuriya Sakya. By serving Lord Hari one achieves one of these Rasas.
The Lord is liberation. I don't want the merging liberation.
There are five kinds of liberation, but the devotees don't want the merging liberation of they may accept any of the other four if it includes service to Krishna. Serving the Lord in devotional service is very blissful and it's a great benediction. So Bhakti Vinath Thakur says that we should consider the Devas and the Devis as the devotees of the Lord.
Or.
In some cases as Gunavatars. So she as like Shiva is the incarnation of Tamas and Brahma is the incarnation of the Guna Rajas. We should not disrespect the Devas.
At the same time we should not consider Eagle or greater.
At the same time we should not consider them indifferent or equal or greater than Vishnu. 10.3 Neglecting the orders of the spiritual master Disrespecting the Guru Disrespecting the Guru is a major offense. Until the disciple develops unwavering faith in the Guru, then the teachings imparted by the Guru will not be fully believed. Without faith, devotional practices, Bhajana Kriya and so on do not occur. Therefore both the Diksha Guru, the initiating spiritual master and the Sikhsha Guru instructing spiritual master must be respected with unwavering faith. Those who have the strong tendency to violate the respect due to great souls Mahat Atikra Maha falls into the offense of disrespecting the spiritual master and their faith in the absolute truth does not develop.
Prahlad Dalas he was Allah Diksha guru and Shiksha guru.
So Srila Prabhupada told us that he was the both the Diksha guru and the Siksha gurus. He also said the GBCs and the other senior devotees are also six shakiras.
So he was resolute present his voices instruction.
So when he was physically present this was the instruction.
Disciples.
Later. But when he got sick in 1977 he told some of his disciples to initiate on his behalf and later to initiate their own disciples.
So this verse says.
So this it's mentioned that we should take instructions from our gurus, Diksha and Siksha, and we should not disobey them. So.
Here Arjun Otago is warning us that if we disrespect her strong Astra, we don't follow his instructions calling for this.
So here Bhakti Veena Thakur says if we don't respect our gurus or we don't follow the instructions, then we fall into this offense.
All the secrets of the Ladders.
It said that those who have unwavering faith in Guru and Krishna, the secrets of the Vedas are all revealed to you if you have unwavering faith in Guru and Krishna. Okay, next 10.4 criticizing the Vedic Scriptures or literature in pursuance of the Vedic version, the Rick Sama, Yajur and Atharva Vedas, along with the associated puranas, Mahabharata, the 20s Dharma Shastras, the Satvik Tantras like Pancharatra, all sing the glories of the Holy Name and the importance of devotion to Hari. These scriptures are the true scriptures. Criticizing these scriptures never leads to the advancement of devotional knowledge. Those who disregard the scriptures and invent new forms of devotion gradually become sources of disturbance in the world. As mentioned in the Bhakti Sandarbha, Ekanti means Bhakti nishta fixed in Bhakti which is borne by first taste ruchi or second by carefully following the injunction of the scripture Shastravidi. Because of this taste ruchi is very rare. Therefore, if the later that is following the injunction of the scriptures shastravidi is absent, then despite of the absence of these two one and two, if there is a Kanti, then that is to be understood that it is merely the pride of one who considers oneself a Kanthi. Therefore, as stated by Shruti, Smriti, Purana, Puranas, this kind of fake ekanti is criticized. Newer and newer theistic opinion are examples of this. Upon examining the ideologies of Dattatreya Buddha, Brahma, Theosophists and others, this becomes clear. The main purport of this is that the means to achieve the ultimate goal are observed to be of the same type everywhere. Despite some differences in the language and customs across different regions, the essence remains the same to the scientific Discerning I. Discerning I, there is no distinction. The Vedic scriptures are eternal and the Sadhana methods prescribed in them are Sanatana. Any process mentioned in subsequent scriptures which are in line with the Vedas are Also Veda approved methods. Those driven by arrogance, claiming to have discovered new methods and presenting new philosophies are merely proud opinions imagined in their fertile brains Lacking substance the Haribhakti of followers of such views also become troublesome. All right.
Criticize because they are giving us some glories of the Holy Name.
So the Vedas are never to be criticized because they are giving us some glories of the Holy Name.
Han executes.
According to their instructions and one executes the devotional service according to their instructions.
Nonsense. We Christians and.
Srila Prabhupada saying in one sense the Christians and the Islamists they are also Vaishnavas because they believe at once because they believe in one supreme Godhead.
I was right.
We restruct with Shastras, Vedas and those which adhere to the Vedic view of things.
So anyway, we respect the Shastras, the Vedas and those adhere to the Vedic view.
Excuse what little knowledge I have and they call troublesome.
If people misuse what little knowledge they have it may become troublesome.
As it is.
So Lord Chaitanya he convinced the Mayavadis that they should accept the Vedic view as it is. Apparently Shankar Apparently Shankaracharya his commentary on.
The Vedanta Sutra he twists things and wrongly presents.
He twisted things and wrongly presents.
So people often say how hard it is exist what really means is this.
So people may say well Bhagavad Gita is this but we believe in this. So people may say Bhagavad Gita says this and we believe in this but we want the Bhagavad Gita as it is. So it says that the Gita was spoken at Kurukshetra, the holy place. It doesn't mean that it means this. So they kind of have misleading arguments.
Trying to show off their learning.
They're trying to show off their so called learning. There's a place in India. There's a place in India, in Haryana. There's a place in India called, as.
I tell you, 5000 years Krishna strong mineral.
There's a place in India, in Haryana There's a place called Kuruksheta There is a tree there standing there for 5,000 years where Krishna spoke the Bhagavad Gita.
Okay.
No, what time he took 30. Okay, 35. Okay. Considering the glories of the Holy Name the Lord to be exaggeration many pious acts exist whose results are not real. Those results have only been described for the inclination of outwardly inclined people by executing without attachment the regulated Activities prescribed in the Vedas. Offering the results of such work to the Supreme Lord, one attains the perfection of freedom from the bondage of material. The material fruitive results offered in the revealed scriptures are not the actual goal of Vedic knowledge but are meant for stimulating the interest of the performer. However, all the benefits of chanting the Holy Name are true. And there are many benefits that scriptures have also not described. The Holy Name is the essence of all devotional practices. Those who consider the glories of the Holy Name to be mere exaggeration commit an offense. People say that the glorification of all those results are simply praise of the respective acts. Many unfortunate people hearing the glories of the Holy Name also call it as simply praise. All the results of the Holy Name are true. And there are even more results that the Scriptures have not been able to describe. Among all the signs of devotion, the Holy Name is the essential form. In a condensed form, those who consider the glory of the Holy Name as mere praise are offenders.
When Haidar Stagger came to family of the Father.
So when Harida Stakur came to the assembly of the Father and the uncle of Raghunathas Goswami then they asked him to speak some glories of the Holy Name.
So he said, even though the Namabas, the accidental chanting of the Holy Name.
He said, even by Namabas the accidental chanting of the Holy Name one can achieve liberation.
I'll start Raman.
1 abstead Brahmin by the name Gopal. He.
Loves this.
So he convinced these people in order to get liberation they have to meditate and reach shastras for many births.
So he was denying holiday.
So he was denying. So he was denying what Harida Thakur saying. Was saying Haridasakar.
No, I cursed you was your nose.
So he told, no, I curse you to lose your nose or something.
It is not true. I'll cut my own nose off.
So Haridas Thakur said, if it's not true, I'll cut my own nose off.
So host said, this is.
So the host, okay? The host Raghunathas's uncle, Father stopped them and said, this is Vaishnav Aparat and all these things. What's the agreement?
You get out of here.
You get out of here.
You're fired.
You are fired. The guy Gopal, he got leprosy and his nose fell off.
Don't touch your. No.
What's that? Oh no, no, no. Guru Maharaj the ant.
Oh, I didn't finish this.
We are done with it for today.
We will say that they won.
Okay? Oh, sorry. Guru Maharaj, please.
Now.
People say that the glorification of all those results simply prays Gurmaj, we are done with this. Okay? Anyway, no, no, no, we are not done. People say that the no, we are not done. Yeah, correct. People say that the glorification of all those results simply praise of the respective acts. Many unfortunate people hearing the glory of the Holy Name also call it simply. Call it as simply praise. All the results of the Holy Name are true and there are even more results that the scriptures have not been able to describe. Among all the signs of devotion, the Holy Name is the essential form and the condensed form. Those who consider the glories of the Holy Name as mere praise are offenders.
Supposed to be on the 8:30.
Sam giving interpretations to the Holy Name of the Lord, considering an alternative meaning of further Holy Name is also a form of offence. The word Hari easily denotes the form of Satchitananda, Lord Sri Krishna, the supreme reservoir of Rasa. Without properly understanding the Tattva of R Vigraha, some people, excuse me, imagine an impersonal Hari equating the terms of Brahman and Hari and conveys an impersonal Hari out of fear that saying Hari implies the Tattva of Krishna. Some people while chanting the Holy Name use the attributive terms Satchidanandahari or Nirakarahari by which the alternative misinterpretation of the Holy Name is done. This is a specific offense. Those who commit this offense gradually become devoid of Rasa due to being overwhelmed by dry. The.
World Gita Conference so I was.
So we were at a World Gita conference organized by Vinod Bhave.
Prabhad was a guest.
Prabhupada was a guest.
He wasn't speaking.
We know Bobby was doing Mauna. He wasn't speaking because.
They had banned cow's daughter in India because they wanted.
To ban cow slaughter in India.
Then there was one body, Chidananda or something.
Then there was a Mayavadi Chidananda or something. Srila Prabhupada had his devotees to chant Hare Krishna. We were all chanting, playing on our Mridang and Kartals. They were swaying and they were appreciative.
Since he got here, I had his ladies hand.
So Vinod Bhavi, before he started speaking, we had these ladies and men. They started chanting the Bhagavad Gita.
His kind of chant came out so.
And then Chidananda, his time to chant came up. He did some strange kirtan. It was really Weird. I can't even imitate that. Satchitanandahari. Boop, boop.
I don't remember exactly.
I don't remember exactly.
It was really strange.
So he was. When he chanted, he was really strange.
So he was jairus.
While he chanted this completely speculative mantra. When I read Chidanandahari niraka Rahari, it reminded me of that.
Chant he was chanting. Right over that, he told the lotus chant.
So he was chanting Srila prabhupada, told the devotees to chant.
All the Lord is chanting. And the audience.
And all the devotees, they started chanting, and the audience, they were relieved.
So today we want to introduce you to a special guest. This is Jacob. He is Guru Maharaj's younger brother, Jeff's son.
Hey, Uncle Jay.
How are you?
How are you?
Nice to see you again.
I'm sorry.
Yeah, totally. First and foremost, I want to say thank you for all the hospitality. Sandeep and Pooja have been doing an excellent job and he helped align everything. So just thank you for the hospitality. And I brought you a gift. Would you like your gift? You want to help?
Yeah.
I don't know.
I don't know the formalities behind it.
So.
It'S just tiny as colder.
It's just getting colder.
Just getting colder. This will help warm you up. So just. There you go. So happy birthday for all the missed birthdays.
So, yeah.
So Jacob is here in India for the first time in his life, and he's very happy to be here. He wants to establish a rapport with his uncle. And he said, he always tells me I'm an ordinary person, so he feels pressure when there is too much attention on him. He likes to be treated as an ordinary person and interact with him like that.
So just say hi. So thank you.
Great.
Hello.
That's awesome. All right, well, Hare Krishna, thank you guys for making me feel so welcome. This has been amazing, and I can't wait to meet all of you as I'm walking around aimlessly out there. So if I look lost, it's because I'm lost. So just point me in the right direction, Point me where this guy's going, and I'll follow. So.
All right.
Thank you.
We just arrived, so. And he first came, wanted to see Guru Maharaj, so we came here.
Excuse me.
You went to Vrindavan?
I did.
How did you like it?
I loved it. I loved it. It was busy. It was very busy. Delhi was. I've been around the world, but Delhi was just absolutely wild. I went to the old. The Spice District. That the spice market next to the Red Fort, Holy cannoli. That was just absolutely insane. And like I said, I've been a lot of places, but, like, I was just like, oh, my goodness. That was. And then what I also think was so interesting is just the. The cattle traffic jams. The guys that. You have cattle that can cause traffic jams here.
Just.
Just the traffic alone has been mind bending. So I just have to get used to that, and then at that point, I'll just fit right in.
So.
But yeah.
All there. I don't want to show that.
No, no, Absolutely not. There's foot traffic, which is very positive. The spiritual vibration has been very tangible out here. Very nice. I loved it so much. And so. And believe it or not, your reputation precedes you. Believe it. Wherever I go, everyone's like, oh, my gosh. And I'm like, so I've heard.
So when we took him to Ter Kadamba, Guru Maharaj, he said that if I want to become a philosopher, I want to become a philosopher here at Ter Kadamba.
So can I take a picture with us on my phone? Oh, wait. Do we have WI fi here? Do you want to see Aunt Mary?
Huh?
Do you want to see Aunt Mary?
Okay.
Can you get on the WI fi? I'll just go to my phone or. Oh, wait, you get on video phone.
Yeah.
All right.
Mary, look who I'm with.
Hi, Jaya. Wonderful. I can move my picture so I can see you and not me.
Okay.
There you are.
Hi.
Hello. How are you?
Okay. How are you doing?
I got admitted to a hospital in Israel there for three months, and they put me on dialysis. Other than that, I'm doing all right.
Other than that, how did you, like, play Mrs. Lincoln?
Well, y. That's a funny reference.
Think of your. Your husband on my birthday.
I think of your husband on my birthday.
I think of your husband on my birthday with you.
He's so proud of that.
That's. Yeah. That's Mark's claim to fame, right?
It is. That is a big deal. Yes.
Yes.
I am so glad you called it the last moment right now. Yeah. Yep. So I just showed up in. I just showed up in Mayapur, and here.
Oh, my God.
How are you?
Hello, everyone. Oh, I miss you all. Oh, what beautiful faces.
So, yeah, we're missing you for a while. We're missing you here. You're gonna come here for a while.
Never been to India. He's like, I have to see Jaya. So it's a goal. It's so amazing to See you two together. I've never seen you, you together. That's so great. A little family reunion.
Yeah, that's what I'm talking about. He's glad that I came.
Yes, I bet.
Well, it's something I rarely hear, so I'm really excited about it, so. Yeah, yeah, you say that, but I know, I know. I'm just trying to.
I'm.
I'm just trying to convince these people I'm a regular person, but they're like, nah, you're related to this guy. That's not regular. I'm like, all right. Yes, it's wild.
We are thrilled that we are related to you.
And I'm sure vice versa, Right?
Unexpected. Unexpected blessing.
Unexpected blessings.
Yes, it is an unexpected blessing. So how was your trip there, Jacob?
It was.
It was seamless. It was seamless. Uncle Jay set up everything and this man over here helped me out.
Hello? This man over there.
Hello.
Oh, I know exactly where you are. I was in that room.
Yeah.
So I love that photo, that picture.
Absolutely. So everything's been absolutely seamless. Hold on, I'm getting stuff up. So that's Archete.
Okay.
These are Indian names. I just die. I embarrass myself all the time. Me and his 13 year old son are like best friends and I mess up his name 10 out of 10 times. Yeah. They make it sound so easy, but I don't.
I can't.
Oh, are you. Oh.
My God.
Hello.
I love you so much. Oh, it's so good to see your beautiful face.
So all these people want to wave at you again. All right, let's do. Let's do a big wave over here, starting from this side. Big wave. Here we go. Har Krishna. Yeah. And then back over here. But the behind the scenes crew. And then back to the. Back to the main act.
What a blessing.
I can't.
You guys call this a perfect moment?
I know, I know. Well, that's really been. This, this whole trip. Is Krishna been providing. So, you know, here we are.
Visiting Ja is like the most amazing experience.
You hear that? Oh, she said visiting you is the most riveting experience ever.
Yep.
So, Jacob, is he feeling your head full of knowledge and wisdom?
Yeah, I mean, him and everyone else who's been learning from him. It's been very inspiring.
Isn't it, though?
Yeah.
Isn't the temple wonderful? Have you been dancing and eating all the amazing things?
I just got here.
Yeah.
I just got to this place I was in and Delhi and then Calcutta. So I just arrived. Yeah. So I've Been here for about.
Did you have a driver from Calcutta?
Yeah, it was way easier then. So I went to the Taj Mahal yesterday, and it was way easier than the Taj Mahal back to Delhi. That was like five hours. That was a nightmare, huh?
Yeah.
And like I said, tell your friends that you want to sell the Taj Mahal.
Oh, no, they know. I've been bragging all day, and they keep saying that it looks fake, that I didn't actually do that, that I, like, superimposed myself there. And I was like, whatever.
So I want to see the Taj Mahal. I can't believe I didn't see it either time I was there. Hey, how's the temple coming along? Is it close to being finished?
Is the temple closed? Two more years.
Two more years.
Okay.

Here you go.
Take blessings and come that way or this way. There is a physical book table of Guru Maharaj which is to the left of you near the gate. So please do visit there and see in what way you can serve Guru Maharaj. Welcome to Guru Maharaj virtual book table. Srila Prabhupada wrote to Bahutak on August 8, 1973. When I hear about the Sankirtana buses moving all over the world then I think that we are becoming a gigantic guerrilla warfare movement fighting with Maya. This traveling in business is the best means to drive away Maya and establish Ka consciousness all over the world. After all, the whole world is the property of Krishna. But temporarily it is being illegally occupied by Maya's agents. Flood them with Kirtana and books. These are the best weapons. And increase the number of buses. That will be your success. So today we have our Nitya Savage, Bala Chandrachana, Vinita Gandharvika, Devidasi Balabranda. Four small books from Kasadesh devotees. We have Dominique Devidasi and our family. 1 Bhagavad Gita and 10 small books. Exactly 1 is to 10 ratio as Guru Maharaj requires it. Gayatri Devidasi, 1 Gita Wang Lanyu 1 Bhagavad Gita. Malini Kripadas is relative Feng Tae Kuan 1 Bhagavad Gita, and 10 small book against 1 is to 10 ratio. Malini Kripada is his relative. 1 Bhagavad gita and 10 small books. So these devotees are wonderfully demonstrating the whole world. Exactly what spells Srila Prabhupada? Instructions to Srila Guru Maharaj in this regard. That 10,000 Mahabic books and 100,000 small books every month Guru Maharaj is supposed to distribute. And all of you are giving support in this regard by sponsoring in one is to ten ratio. Thank you very much for being an exemplary example and a role model to the whole world. Also this devotees get a special Narasimha Puja in a few hours from now in Siddha Mayapur. And all of you devotees also please bless them by calling out Nitai Gauranga with me Nitai Gauranga and please pass on these wonderful opportunities of participating in the pastime of Guru Maharaj and even if it is a single Bhagavad Gita on 10 Small Books WhatsApp message anytime at Guru Maharaj Virtual Book Table at 919-434-760402. Stay tuned for tomorrow's Lord Chaitanya class. Now let's pray intensely for speedy and full recovery of Guru Maharaj. And of course our prayers include for all those who are celebrating their anniversaries today for their well being and blissful Krishna consciousness. Please join me in the intense prayer.
