Even if Brahman is described as impersonal, its impersonal nature is simply stated as being distinct from the specific nature of material objects which is also particular quality of Brahman. If Brahman does not possess energy, then how does this created world or illusory world exist? In this philosophy, when there is no other substance beside Brahman, we are compelled to attribute the cause of this phenomenon to Brahman's energy.
