Hare Krishna. From the teachings of Sri Sri Mahaprabhu Lord Chaitanya, we learn that any religion lacking deity worship is utterly ineffective in the path of devotion. There is no higher method of religious practice than the worship of Shri Murti. Therefore, it is necessary to critically examine the opinions of the critics. There is a vast difference between the worship of RT and idolatry.

Idolatry is just putting any object and saying that this is God.

Murti is never fabricated or man made object. For those without devotion, there is no form of Bhagavan. But for a devotee it is the Incarnation of eternal spiritual form of worship. The R Murti is a direct manifestation of Bhagavan's form and cannot be anything else. Just as in art and science there are physical representations of subtle invisible truths, the R Murti is the physical representation of Bhagavan's form invisible to material eyes. Devotees continually verify the accuracy of their representation of Bhagavan's form through the result of increased pure devotion. The true relation between electrical objects and electrical machinery is only evident through the production of electricity. What would the inexperienced understand by looking at electrical machinery? What else can those who do not have devotion in their hearts say about the Shri Murti other than referring to it as a mere idol? Devotees assert that the worshippers of Shri Murti are not idolaters. When the devotees offer worship to the installed deities, they.

They feel that supreme person has gonehead is something they worship.
