The following is a Shri Caitanya shikshamrita class given by His Holiness Jaya Pataka Swami Maharaj on February 26, 2025 in Sridhar Mayapur, India.

Hare Krishna Dear devotees, today we will continue with the reading from Sri Chaitanya Shikshamrita by Srila Sachidan and the Bhakti via Thakur Nama Bhas Semblance of the Holy Name Persons who perform Nama Bhajan are Madhya Madhikares from the very beginning because they are aware the nature of the Holy Name Namasuru. For them Nama Baas mostly doesn't happen. They are actually genuine Prema Ruruks for Ka. Their religious conduct is that they have love for Ka, friendship with pure Vaishnavas, compassion towards Vaishnavas with tender faith and indifference towards those with small but misguided knowledge and maliciousness toward the R Murti form of the Lord. From time to time the Kanishtani Kali Vaishnava becomes very pitiable because they are unable to discern differences. So to preach one has to be on the Madhimadhibhari platform to tell the difference between a devotee and a non devotee. Sometimes even the Mutta Madhikari comes down to the Mathima Adhikaya platform to preach can't tell the difference so they are very pitiable according to Srila Bhakti Binan Tatum so these four kinds of devotees four kind of devotees are seen by the Mati Madhikari so they preach to the innocent that they avoid the enemy. And also we have those who are initiated and are worshipping the Deity. One should associate and faithfully serve that pure devotee.

As much as the Holy Name manifests in pure form and Bhajan happens with the realization of the form. To that extent, the modes of nature, goodness, passion and ignorance are dissipated in the mind leading to the manifestation of Shuddha Sattva, the transcendental qualities of Ka. The restaurant in Chennai's Hare Krishna temple is called Sugar. So there they only serve prasadam. That is Sudhir Sattva. That's only Sudhir Satva. The transcendental qualities of Krishna. To that extent the Bhajan is pure in the oneness of three Name, form and qualities. Then to that extent, by Krishna's mercy, Ka's pastimes are manifested in pure consciousness through union with natural Samadhi Sahaja Samadhi Yoga. When chanting of the Holy Name by counting without counting is done. Counting or without counting is done. Then Krishna's form is seen with the mind's eye. Krishna's qualities are perceived in the heart. And Krishna's pastimes come and manifest in the soul in Samadhi. So when one is chanting, can see the form of Krishna.

Some devotees say they have hard time chant 16 round. Actually chanting and keeping track of the number is called Jabba. When they don't keep track of the number, it's called Ajaka for advanced notice. Aghapa is said to be unlimited. But we usually keep track because we promise to chant. Sorry.
