Foreign. The following is a morning class given by His Holiness Jaya Pataka Swami Maharaj on December 20, 2025 in Sridharmapur, India. The class begins with a reading from the Srimad Bhagavatam 3rd canto chapter 22.

Verse 36 reading from Srimad BhagavatAm 3rd canto on the subject matters the status quo chapter 22, verse number 36. Translation and Purport by His Divine Race AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada Srila Prabhupada Translation he passed his time which lasted 71 cycles of the four ages, 71 times 4,320,000 years, always thinking of Vasudeva and always engaged in matters regarding Vasudeva. Thus he transcended the three destinations. Purport the three destinations are meant for persons who are under the control of the three modes of material nature. These destinations are sometimes described as the awakened, dreaming and unconscious stages. In Bhagavad Gita, the three destinations are described as the destinations of persons in the modes of goodness, passion and ignorance. It is stated in the Gita that those who are in the mode of goodness are promoted to better living conditions in higher planets and those who are in the mode of passion remain within this material world on the earth or on heavenly planets. But those who are in the mode of ignorance are degraded to an animal life on planets where is lower than human. But one who is ka conscious is above 3 the three modes of material Nature it is stated in Bhagavad Gita that anyone who engages in devotional service to the Lord automatically becomes transcendental to the three destinations of material nature and is situated in the Brahma Bhuta or self realized stage. Although Swayambhuva Manu, the ruler of this material world appeared to be absorbed in material happiness, he was neither in the mode of goodness nor nor in the mode of passion or ignorance but in the transcendental stage. Therefore, one who fully engages in devotional service is always liberated. Dilvama Thakur, a great devotee of the Lord, stated, if I have unflinching devotion to the lotus feet of Krishna, then Mother Liberation is always engaged in my service. The complete perfection of material enjoyment, religion and economic development is at my command. People are after dharma, artha, kama and moksha. Generally they perform religious activities to achieve some material gain and they engage in material activity for sense clarification. After being frustrated in this material sense gratification, one wants to be liberated and become one with the absolute truth the four principles form the transcendental path for the less intelligent. Those who are actually intelligent engage in Ka consciousness Not caring for these four principles of transcendental method, they at once elevate themselves to the transcendental platform which is above liberation. Liberation is not a very great achievement for a devotee. To say nothing of the results of the ritualistic performances in religion, economic development or the materialistic life of sense gratification. Devotees do not care for this. They are situated always on the transcendental platform of Brahmabhuta stage of self realization.

He lives for 71 Chatur Yugas.

Past 71 times 1,032,000.

That's 71 times 4,320,000 years.

We only live 100 years back we.

Only live a hundred years.

Next a hundred years.

Maximum 100 years.

And insurance salaries, life insurance things are the average lifespan of a male female.

Are and surely somebody who does life insurance they can tell what is the average lifespan of a male and a female life insurance. Jarakoram. Swayam Baba's Manu's life was spent in the thoughts and in the activities of Vasudev Sri Krishna.

Now.

Srila Prabhupada was telling us that all our Grihastas should be Paramahansas.

Now.

I remember. I know it was.

Now Swayambu of Manu. He was like a Paramahamsa.

And in this way he constantly part of Krishna.

Even though he was enjoying a lot of material situation he was always Krishna.

Even though he was enjoying a lot of material situation he was also Krishna conscious.

Jadiya Jadapitini Anek Bibhanno Jorah Jagotik Forest. And he was constantly within the Vasudeva atmosphere.

So our Grihasthas should be like that.

Enjoy something. I should do that Like Krishna conscious way.

Even if they have to enjoy something, they should do that in a Ka conscious way.

Sanyasis are under one standard.

Now the Brahmacharis and the sanyasis, they have a different standard.

Standard.

Someone brought a machine. Runway. A. High tech machine.

When someone brought a machine to Bombay from Bombay. Yeah. When someone brought a machine from Bombay, a luchi making machine, they said it was itech.

He was a grihasta but he always kept himself in a Kaja atmosphere.

But Swayambhuamanu, he was a grihasta and he always kept himself in a Krishna conscious atmosphere.

So we want our Krishtas to have this atmosphere.

So we want our Kihastas to have this atmosphere.

Hey.

You may enjoy whatever in the material world. There will be some happiness, some distress. You may go through this. But you always remain in yourselves. Keep yourselves in a Ka conscious atmosphere.

So Radh ra said that producing Krishna conscious children is.

So Srila Prabhupada said that producing Ka conscious children is a Bhagavat seva.

But I noticed one day one person was brought to Srila Prabhupada and that this person had gone to a brothel.

To a prostitute.

To a prostitute.

So Prabhupada said, why had you. Prostitute?

So Srila Prabhupada said, you are a grihasta. So why did you go to a prostitute?

Sex car is up for a partner Hindu as a Satya Balbachi.

Srila Prabhupada said that to have sex with a married wife is not sinful. But to indulge in the same with a prostitute is very sinful.

So like that Prabhupada was preaching.

So like that Srila Prabhupada was preaching.

In fifth candle of the Srila Bharat says that the relation in husband and wife is considered like our Jaya.

In the fifth canto it is mentioned that the relationship between husband and wife is considered like Brahmacharya.

Prabhupada also said the one does from version that devotions served.

But Srila Prabhupada also said that if one does procreation that is also Ka conscious service.

Times 4 million.

Amra maximum Akshavature Kinto Sayam Bo Amano. We live for a maximum of about 100 years. But Swayambubamanu, his life was very very long. He lived for 71 times 4,320,000 years. If somebody wants to take the path of Brahmacharya or celibacy that is a very wonderful thing. But one must follow it very very strictly.

So we have seen that some of our sannyasis even their old age that they return to rehash the light.

We have seen that some of our sannyasis even in their old age they return to Grihasta life.

He was first to Grastha. His son was also a Mahar preacher and then he became a Panyasa.

Madhavendra Puri who is the great Paramahamsa was previously a Grihasta and later on we see that his son also became a great preacher.

Madhavandra Puripad Jinichilan, Paramangsha Churamani, Tinio Akshama, Grihasta Chillan.

And madhavandra puri became a sanyasi.

So this is a rationale.

So this is a more natural way of life. Anyway we are always supposed to do Lord Krishna's Lord Caitanyas.

You know my history and last person I was was in elder Almayer during my travels.

The last place that I was was in Navi Bombay.

And one day we went to Juhu.

One day we went to Juh.

They asked me to give a class.

And they asked me to give a class.

Tell me why they were doing so well. Because they got everybody to plants distribute a certain amount of books.

Navi Mumbai, Delhi. Delhi, Delhi. They are doing so well because they get everyone to pledge a certain amount of books.

Some promise to give 5000. And some say I will give 100.

How much bliss there is in being Ka conscious and living a life of Bhakti Yoga is unlimited.

But Saimu Vindhuayu has given us a very nice example how to be Krishna conscious as a Grihasta.

Swayambhu Manu has given a very good example how to be Ka conscious as a Grihasta.

So in the material world the three modes are working. There is the mode of goodness, the mode of passion and the mode of ignorance. So those who are in the mode of goodness, they go to the heavenly planets. Those who are in the mode of passion, some of them go to the Heavenly planet. Some of them remain on this earthly planet. Those who are in the mode of ignorance they go to the lower planetary system to the.

They also go to the lower station.

They may also go to the lower species.

But these three destinations are not accepted by the devotees.

I don't want to be lean to the impersonal Robert Joji.

We don't want to be merged into.

The impersonal Brahma Jothi Amrasian.

Serves and stays with the Supreme Lord. That is only a subtle Lok.

So if by liberation one stays and serves with the supreme Lord that is the only acceptable thing.

We want to serve Krishna so we.

Want to serve Krishna. For that reason we can go to Krishna Loka.

Amra Krishna Loke Cholajatapadi.

A lot of suffering in the material.

World There is lot of suffering in the material world.

We are only detached from that a very sinless to the impersonal liberation.

If we are only detached from that, that may send us to impersonal liberation.

In order to go to Krishna one must love Krishna. One should love Krishna and one should perform devotional service to Ka.

I was telling how different parts of the world they have a book on the pastimes of the Lord.

I was saying how in different parts of the world they have a book on the different pastimes of of Krishna.

We also have a few books containing the pastimes of Rajapur Jagannath.

We should also have Raharu Ayurujana, Rajav Ashizaki, Panchita Jagannath we know.

But we should also have Mayapur Chandra, Radha Madhav, Ashtasaki Panchatatwa and Lord Narasimhadev pastimes.

There are so many people, persons of person.

They are actually people. Krishna is a person.

We are not able to see them so they are cleared as Archa Rigra, Archa Avutar.

We are not able to see them. So they have appeared as Archa Vigraha. Archa Vigraha Avatar.

When you pray to them, they hear you.

When you pray to them, they hear you.

But I also see what you're doing.

But they also see what you are doing.

In your heart. The super soul is there. The super soul sees what you are thinking, what kind of activities you are engaged in.

How you should be very sincere in your Raja Yoga and that will be effective.

So if you are absorbed in Bhakti Yoga, that would be very effective. Any questions?

Guru Maharaj, you mentioned about taking a pledge with the deities or in Front of the deities about book distribution. How to actually do it in a practical way. If you can kindly give me some guidelines.

I mean a Kristal. As I said he's a person. If you tell him how tired of shoot 500 ropes. You don't have to write it down or anything. You can please ask to pray. Please give me no botan tea. Please give me no Shakti. Do it.

As I said. Krishna is a person. So you can go and tell him that you want to distribute 500 books. Thousand books. Whatever. You don't have to write it down. You can pray to him. Please give me the potency, the Shakti to be able to do it.

Management. Take a bharadiche. You said that you are trying to encourage people to preach. But then you are getting some obstacles from the management. I don't get this. I don't understand this. We were given some cards and then the security department took the cards back again.
