Narugopalpur was explaining how Guru Maharaj the enthusiasm sees no boundary. Guru Maharaj enthusiasm is like ever growing and growing and growing bigger. So I'll speak along that line. As you all know, Guru Maharaj had multiple chapters in regards to his health in his life. In 2008, he had one of the severe stroke, brain stroke and the chances of survival was less than 1%.

In 2014 and 15, he had two or three severe lung infections. 2018 he had dual transplant. 2019 he had skin cancer. Now 2024, exactly one year ago, that newly transplanted kidney, even that has failed now.

So since last one year he's on dialysis thrice a week. Thrice a week and then many kind of other infections in between. Cellulitis in the leg. He also has bedsor which is not healing for the last two years. Which is not healing for the last two years. So like this, there are a lot of complications, health complications that he has gone through since 2008 till today. The second. But nothing has slowed him down. His physical body is like falling apart day by day, day by day. But his subtle body full of spiritual enthusiasm is growing bigger, stronger and stronger and stronger. And this has bewildered many people how this person can still keep going on and on and on. Despite all these difficulties, many of Guru Maharaj's godbrothers, God sisters, even devotees in general, they always ask Guru Maharaj this one question. What is motivating you to keep going on and on and on and on?

In the month of April 2023, when Guru Maharaj went to USA for.

The skin cancer treatment.

And he also participated in the Sadhusanga festival which was held end of May 27, 2023. Event for the festival and in that program he met Swami for the first time. Maharaj asked Guru Maharaj, what is that? What is the secret for you to keep going on and on and on? Guru Maharaj replied, prabhupada has suffered so much for us and I owe Prabhupada so much. And I'm just trying to Pay the debts. Sachinandan Maharaj replied the greatness of a man known when he is grateful and gratitude towards others.

The next day, 28th May 2023, Guru Maharaj was scheduled to give the Bhagavadam.

There were 3,000 devotees for the Sahasanga festival and after the class, exactly two minutes past nine o' clock, Guruma ended the class.

Just jumped on the stage. So we are not going to take any questions. But I have a question for Maharaj. He asked Guru Maharaj, how are you Maharaj? Guru Maharaj said, I am a rack. I am a rack.

Bhakti Rak means like a broken ship or boat which is lying unused on the shore of the ocean. I am a handicap. I had a stroke.

I mean handicap stroke.

I'm not able to speak properly. I am depending on others for every single activities. I had dual transplant and now I'm going through treatment for my skin cancer. But internally I'm very happy. That literally made everyone had tears in the eyes.

So here is a great example of how Guru Maharaj is so indebted surrender to Srila Prabhupada.

Prabhu was, you know, Hari Sari Prabhu. Prabhu was the personal and dear most servant of Srila Prabhupada.

And he kept on Calling me for several times. He said, I wanted to meet with you. I wanted to meet with you. Then that meeting took place and Prabhu asked that I wanted to know. I'm very curious. I wanted to know what is that motivating Chaiptaka Swami Maharaj to keep going on and on and on. He also said that one GBC member, he approached him and he inquired from him. He asked Hari Sauri Prabhu, do you believe that his Holiness Jayataka Maharaj had some sort of darshan of Prabhupada? And Krishna when he was in coma during the stroke, replied to him, I don't doubt about it. And Hari Sari Prabhu said, he is so absorbed in Prabhupada service, so that is possible. And he also continued and he said that even I am personally curious to know what is motivating Maharaj to just keep going on and on. He said that Maharaj is a unique person in ISKCON and he's one of the kind in ISKCON's history. History of ISKCON.

He's one of a kind.

Yeah. And you should all write a diary about him and record all his activities because just him being around is inspiring so many people in ISKCON and others. And he is doing things which even an ordinary person cannot do. And he shared some pastimes of Srila Prabhupada. Said when Prabhupada was in Vrindavan in Radha Damodar temple, he had darshans of three Goswamis and they instructed him to go to the west and preach. And he also said that at one point Srila Prabhupada was very sick there. And he had a darshan of Srila Bhaktistar. And the next day Prabhupada became so enlivened, said, I do believe the same thing could have happened to Jepta. And in fact Guru Maharaj did share.

2Nd, June 2023 Dosara June, we were.

In Dallas, Amra Dallas.

On that day we supposed to fly from Dallas to Atlanta to attend a panihati festival.

And that morning, at around 3:30 in the morning, Ishwarapuri Maharaj Gurma disciple, he was on the night shift. Then he came running to my room and he woke me up and he said that Prabhu, there is something seriously wrong with Guru Maharaj, please come. And when I rushed down, I saw Guru Maharaj was like completely drenched in the sweat and he Was not responding anything. And we tried to communicate with him. Hardly any response. And I told that Prabhu, go and wake up everyone in the house. And then the devotees came. And meanwhile I was checking his BP. BP was all right.

Oxygen is all right.

Then when I checked the sugar, it was 29, which is good enough to kill anyone. It was extremely low sugar.

And meanwhile we also called Guru Maharaj. Doctor, Dr. Vinay, he was in the neighboring house.

And then Saroj Madhapuru, he was there. He came. Then he called 911, the paramedic team and Dr. Vinay, while he was on the way, he told us that please give some juice for Guru Maharaj. Sweet juice. And then immediately we try giving the juice to Guru Maharaj. But he was not able to follow our command. So therefore he was not able to drink. So then we got, we went to the kitchen, we got some honey and applied the honey all around his mouth. And meanwhile Dr. Vinay, he had arrived and he checked the sugar again. The sugar went up to 50. Then the paramedic arrived immediately they put IV and started infusing glucose. And we started seeing some symptoms of improvement.

And then Dr. Vinay pulled me to a corner of the house. Prabhu, I don't know what you will do. We almost lost Guru Maharaj today. Cancel everything for today. Not going to Atlanta today. And that was on that day. He's supposed to go for the 18th sitting of the skin cancer treatment.

Cancel that also. Then at around then, after that Guruma was sleeping. And at around 8:45 I went to take my shower. And one dot came and knocked the bathroom door. Is awake. And now he wants to go for the treatment. I was shocked. Then I told him, wait, wait, I'm coming, I'm coming out. Then I rushed out and I went down. Gurmaj was already ready. I wanted to get into the car. Then the devotee said, Prabhu, he just woke up, freshened up his face, changed his dress. He wants to go now. Because the treatment was at 9:15.

So he went for the treatment again.

Came back, had shower. Then Gurma said, I want to go to Atlanta.

Then we all gave up the idea of fighting with him. So then we started our journey, went to the airport, he was having his lunch in the car.

Reached Atlanta, Atlanta, Ponchalam.

And then there were like hundreds of devotees came to receive him in the airport. And Then after reaching the temple and settled down in his room, I knew what is going to happen next. I went out, I told all the devotees to leave. And after that Guru Maharaj was saying that I wanted to go and give class. Then I told Guru Maharaj, nobody is there. They all left. Gurma said, no, I won't believe you, take me out. Then we took him out and happened to be nobody was there because we sent everybody out except one person. The temple president Vedasara Prabhu was there.

Then Guruma said, I want to talk to him. He took him inside his room. They had personal one to one conversation.

Need of the hour for him. Showed a lot of caring and sympathy to him. Then after that we came back to Dallas for the next session of the skin treatment. On the 7th of June 7th, June 2023 again at 9 in the morning, Guruma is supposed to go for the last 20th session of the skin treatment. And then from there he's supposed to come back, have lunch and then go to the airport to catch our flight to New York. But after going to the treatment center, the doctor there, she said that we have to do some additional procedure. So therefore it will take time. And that went on till 1212 30. And we have a flight at 3:30 from Dallas to New York. And Guru Maharaj came back home.

Guru Maharaj, he didn't even get out of the car.

He just stayed in the car and we loaded all the luggages, he blessed all the local devotees and then we drove straight to the airport. In the airport we parked the car in the parking lot and he was having his lunch in the parking lot, sitting inside the car. And meanwhile we were doing the check in. And then at 3:30 we supposed to take the flight, but they announced the flight was delayed. Then Guruma took a nap. And then after that he got down from the car, he came into the airport. They announced that the flight is delayed even more. Now the next is it might depart at 5pm Then again they announced 5:30. Then they announced 6. Meanwhile Guruma was meeting the devotees, talking to everyone, blessing everyone. Finally they announce, yes, please board the flight. After boarding the flight. They announced, flight is delayed, it will take next. Time of departure is 6:30.

Next again 7. Guru Maharaj sitting inside the plane, very calmly, very cool, just keep chanting. Meanwhile people, those local Americans, they were sitting in the aircraft, they became so irritated, agitated, you know, the four letters of American words started flying left and right. Most of them left And Guruma sitting there very peacefully. And then finally we took off at 9pm Six hours of delay, but not even a word of complaint from Guru Maharaj. Then we flew 3 hours 45 minutes to New York. And then we reached New York at 2:30 in the morning. And Guru Maharaj embraced everyone, like welcomed everyone, greeted everyone so blissfully at 2:30 in the morning, went to a hotel nearby the temple, slept at 4:30 in the morning, woke up at 9:00', clock.

Went to the temple, took Darshan, gave class, came back to the room, had.

A meeting with His Holiness Guru Prasad Maharaj. Took lunch, took little nap. Then we took an overnight flight, New York to Milan in Italy. Seven hours.

And then we drove for five hours from Milan to Florence.

That five hours he was just lying in the car, like this very small car. We got down in between many times we stretched our body. After reaching the guest house there same thing. Guru Maharaj said, I want to meet the devotees, I want to give class. Then he said, fine, take your dinner, take a little nap, and then you can meet the devotees and give class.

He went on the bed. He woke up the next day, morning. Imagine the enthusiasm. After going through so much of difficulties, still the enthusiasm never dies. He just still wanted to preach, meet the devotees.

So I'll tell one more pastime and then we have the next speaker. This happened on the 8th of July, 2024, last year in Kolkata. So Guru Maharaj, he went to the medical hospital for the dialysis. And then the dialysis got over around 4, 4:30pm this was just the next day, the second day of the Radayatra. And Guru Maharaj called me. He said that I wanted to go to Gundicha. And I said, Guru Maharaj, you know, yesterday you already were there. You were there in the Radhayatra. And he participated the whole day in the Rathayatra. And today after the dialysis, you should be taking rest. Because we have seen him in Delhi for the first three months of being in the dialysis that after dialysis he becomes so exhausted. Dialysis sucks away all your energy. And we have seen him after the dialysis, he was not even able to utter a word properly. And Guru Maharaj said, I want to go Gundicha, I want to go take Darshan of Jagannath. Then I want to give class, take my dinner there. And then I want to do the question and answer to the youth Boys which happens every year. How is that possible? This is insane. Then after that Guru Maharaj he was quiet for a while. And I was trying to still convince him not to go. Then he shouted on me. Said that do you know that because of Jagannath I am still alive today. He brought me back to life. And you are telling me not to have his darshan every day. And you are telling me not to glorify him every day. And you are telling me not to honor his prasadam every day. How is that possible? I am going.

One last small concluding word. Remember Madhav Kanta Prabhu was talking about Guru Maharaj Namaganaruchin. How he chants almost all day. While eating, while doing exercise, even while on the bed. And Madhav Kanta Prabhu also said that Guru Mahj even chants while sleeping. I didn't believe in the beginning. But I personally witnessed twice Guru Maharaj chanting in the sleep. Not only me, there were two other servants and one doctor, Dr. Aman. They came and told me the same.

Among Dr. Aman Balaksan. Doctor, we have noticed that.

I mean once I noticed that Guru Maharaj he was sleeping and he was snoring. And then suddenly I heard him clicking. And I was thinking, how is that possible? He's in a deep sleep and at the same time chanting. And then I went close to him. Then I didn't hear anything for five, 10 minutes. And he was still snoring.

Then suddenly I heard two clicks. And there was nothing after that. Another three clicks. After 10 minutes.

So this is true that his mind is so submerged in the devotional service in chanting that even in sleep he's chanting. And I have noticed it personally. I have observed this twice. And then at that time I recalled once Kurumaraj told me I even wanted to chant in my sleep. I wanted to chant all the time. And I personally saw that he was right. He was not just simply saying that. So please take this as an inspiration to my our personal life, spiritual life.
