Classes by Gurudeva #JayapatakaSwamiArchives

Transcript of a multi‑speaker spiritual discourse (recorded as a class) featuring Jayapataka Swami and other devotees, covering Lord Chaitanya’s ecstatic devotion (prema), importance of seeing/serving Krishna, congregational development work worldwide (temples, festivals, outreach, prison and family ministries), and encouragement to accept a spiritual master (guru‑parampara). It mixes theological anecdotes, practical reports, and ministry updates.
The power ecstatic love of Krishna. But to get Prema you have to see Krishna. You have to realize it. So Lord Chaitanya, at the beginning he realized Krishna and from then on he was in Prema. So these things were all described by Vrindavindas Takura. Our Lord Chaitanya came back. He was Nimai Pandher. He came back and he was Gorahari. With so much ecstatic in Krishna service, people thought him gone mad. Why is he crying for Krishna? Why is he shouting for Krishna? Why is he always talking about Krishna? Too much religious in India they like it's in a too much religious. What's wrong? When devotees start chanting Hare Krishna, eating prasadam, reading Bhagavatam. The parents sometimes say they are too much religious. Why? You can just go once in a while to the temple, pray to the Devas and get some Mahashivas. Why you have to be so religious? Why you have to do so much Use this man for enjoying. They don't know the highest happiness, the highest ecstasy, the highest enjoyment is serving Krishna. They think going to the movies is enjoyment. Young people should spend all their time in the cinemas. Then when they get old they can go to the temple. Because anyway they're too old to do anything else. Someone came back from India, from America to Bangalore, had his three story house. The brothers said, now you're retired. Now you're at Praupatti. You had so much money, you worked so many years in the West. Now you can concentrate and just meditate on Krishna. You can go to the temple, he said. He always told us that old age was meant for doing good spiritual activities. He said, well, I go to the temple but I can't concentrate my mind. All my life I'm thinking about the money, where to put my money. Union trust, mutual fund, stock market. Now the stock market crash. Recently people are in India really shook up. I just talking to one man who was a stockbroker. He said, hey, sometimes the stocks go up, sometimes they go down. I said, do you ever buy stocks?
No, never.
I just sell them. So the poor elderly man he was. So I go in front of Balaji, I go in front of Ranganath Ji, I go in front of Guru Bhairav. But all I can think about is my money. Prahlat said, what age you have to start chanting from what age you have to start practicing? Prahlat, you know, we told his friends, his student friends. Yes. What's your name?
Ayush.
Ayush. Let's give Ayush a big hand. Ayushi Kumaram, acharya Pragy. From 5 years of age you should start to practice. We should be practicing our own life. Whether you're a Grihasta living with family and children, whether you're a Vairagi living in the Ashram, everyone should chant. So they thought Mount Chaitanya was crazy or had some mental imbalance. Why is so much time? So then he went to see Shiva's Thakur for audience to find out whether he really had a disease. Could I ask you a question? I said yeah, it's okay. What's your question? So some people say that I have imbalance of my heirs. According to Ayurveda there's three Doshas. Bayu dosh, upper dosh, Pita dosh. So bayu dosh means like imbalance, emotions, mental, different things like that. So they say that I have this vital dose. So what's your symptoms? Whenever I chant, I feel so different. I just can't help but tears coming from my eyes. My hair is standing in my hand. My voice is choked up. Is it true I have a disease? Shiva said yes, you have a disease. And I want that disease too. Nobody wants disease. So instead you run into disease. You know, you took care of it. You have the disease. The Lord of Krishna which is very rare, very rare. Brahma and Shiva, they hope to get their love for Krishna. So all these things were explained. How did Jananda came and led Lord Chaitanya, how the Sankirta movement was held by actually Siva said people they won't understand because they don't know what love of Krishna is. They just know material happiness. They don't know what their spiritual happiness is. So you can come and chant in my garden and I'll invite some contradiction devotees. Be able to appreciate your champion. So because of his efforts that we know so many things about.
Sa.
What was always so amazing to me is that how Krishna and his associates, whoever is out, they came down.
To this.
Material world to spread the message of Ka. To spread Ka consciousness.
It there's it.
So the spreading of the message, this is something for everyone to do. Proverbs 7.
SA it.
This is a.
Report.
That we give to the GBC every year. What's our progress?
Canvas Val.
Also here in the west told me to spread the Krishna conscious message through the congregation. So his mercy trying to do something. Everyone can chant the name of Ka, the Hare Krishna Mah Mantra, discuss Bhagavad Gita and Srimad Bhagavatam, install deities of Radhakrishna, Gornya Tiger Both worship them very carefully and runs home. It is not that we have to open different temples, different centers all over the world. There are many places in the world where there is no temple. Of course, when you have a big congregation like here, then it's natural that you want to have a nice temple where everybody can get together. It's not that Ka consciousness has to read someplace in the form of a temple first. First people can come chant in their own practice. Our ministry's mission statement and goals to assist Iskhan in developing their congregations both in places where there are temples and where there are in a systematic, empowering, sustainable way. According to the teachings of the Brahma Mahdra Gaudiya Vaishnava Sampandaya and in particular Srila Prabhupada. We wish to assist to education, consultancy the building of harmonious, vibrant Vaiava communities based on universal principles of congregation development such as deeply caring attitude toward all the members, organization of the congregation, small groups to maintain intimacy and allow easier management and care. Just a nice small group. According to Lord Chaitanyam Srila Prabhupada teaching every devotee should be engaged in congregation and sharing the message of Ka Consciousness with others. The congregation receive regular quality supervision and support. Establish a culture of training, education which all the members are systematically guided to build the necessary knowledge, skills and values for successful spiritual development. An effective performance of devotion and service. Giving long term support of the care of devotees throughout their lives from childhood conception Samskaras. This morning I did a Hana prasana start. We do those things here. Somebody spread the grains till they got here and went to the airport.
And.
Then to the dead. Sometimes devotees. Now cancer. Many things come and need to be there. Chanting, giving support to the devotees when they leave their bodies.
So.
These are congregational principles. We want to empower the congregation to help in preaching to fulfill Lord Chaitanya Mahapu's instruction to give Ka Consciousness to others. We wish to see this culture, outreach and sharing of spiritual knowledge and shelter become deeply ingrained in every Vaishnava either temple or home. Based to make the temple as a Tirtha Stan a place of pilgrimage for the congregation and to develop extended Vaishnav communities with the temple in the center to explore developed sponsor areas of outreach like prison preaching, institutional preaching, youth preaching, youth, congregational programs and center. This is our mission, our activities. We publish books and magazines, present courses, offer consultancy, assist in organizing events, have a website organized festival. We have some new staff members, Seva Seru Benadi Navy managers and Treasurer they continue Tide it's the publication manager have we known many times in the publication Shabbashakti did a Priya do events in South America ritual Pandas he's helped me with editing Hijin writing web page later this is Krishna training in South America Kim Alumini won't immediately be going to this PowerPoint Feneshwar is our webmaster. He's German, he does English he knows Spanish and German Spanish section Anybody has any time like to help ministry? We're always needed more people these are present on our website. We get different writers, different leaders from Raleigh Scott to contribute their writing. We also like to get reports.
I.
Hear that it's like your experiences in the field here with developing the congregation the Bhakti Bhiksha groups would like to get your realization Share with the other people on the website children's program Whatever you're doing be very inspiring for others like did you know Tiger predicted that activities related to the NA preaching will in a very short time become immense and widespread. Bhakti Siddhanta said to establish printing press, organize devotional literature shastras to be distributed and spread the Namah Krishna. He also said by spreading Namhat preaching more people come to my airport.
And.
The whole movement will expand. Many people don't know that he also said it in the OMN fiction.
Some.
New publications Matthew Rickshaw New edition is in Spanish it's published in Bolivia minus We have our journal coming out every quarter. We have a new English book just came out in April. Wanted to get out through Gorpari but we couldn't make it. Different leaders around the world and preachers have contributed to this book. It's ready now It's a book under Books under Production Some of the other previous publications highlights Last year I went I met a lot of Gopinath and some other devotees at the strategic planning meeting. This strategic planning team is very inspiring. We give courses in Rio, in Sao Paulo and Malaysia in La Paz, in Pochobamba, Bolivia Lima, Chile Argentina Uruguay Russia Moscow Croatia Serbia Lithuania Rezv Poland Lester Duping Auckland Museum this is our young group running about again. This is our guru.
Cool.
We did a program in the temple with the picture Melbourne in Perth Middle East Contouradesh this is House of the Underground open thing Balaram Desh another underground Australia we have annual RGB meetings annual awards ceremony in Guapornima.
Development.
Workshops in Mayan Portea did sessions on strategic planning in Peru and Italy. He also went to Iran in the Freeport gave them seminars for Noah here's some worldwide highlights. Want to see it? Who wants to see? Not fitting the majority prophet wanting the temple activities should be a good example. So that other people would see how the thieves are being worshipped. And established a simple way in their home. We had three national congregational educational conventions in South America, America, Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia. This was a combination where these four countries are administrating some help to put out a national festival. Bring in speakers from America and different places. Some senior Prabhupada disciples. The temples gave and congregational ministry helped. So that was a joint effort. Seminars on procuration, mediation, reception hospitality. On the lower right. Taya is giving a mediation seminar and is giving a demonstration. These two devotees hadn't talked with each other for two years. They were having some personality problems after the mediation. During the mediation they broke down crying. And afterwards all their best friends. Robert said that we need to cooperate together. For cooperation we need communication. So youth programs, family life. Anuttanapur came from Washington and he spoke about Vihasta life for the young. Vihastas there. I spoke on Chaitanya's pastime between seminaries. Just happened to have a rath Yatra at the United nations procession. The Feed the World day. Feed the hungry. I forgot what they call it. 10,000 kids marching in the street. Feed the hungry. Feed the hungry. So we have that Roth yacht that begins. We could never do the Rathiyatra in La Paz millennia. We so much for having Christians against it. But when we're with the United nations, it was like. And all the kids took pashano. Gave out 10,000 piece of pasha. We were on television. This happened to be the same time as the festival. Weddings, dancing, youthful Brahmins in society.
Italy.
One interesting thing is Mon Salvatar Prabhupada disciple who was a retired designer. Very successful designer, interior designer in his own right. Now he is retired and he does central studi. Bhaktivedanta gave more than 40 conferences and 20 seminars last year. Aiming for the educated people. 220 people signed up for the courses and 50 took initiation. That's a pretty good. He gives courses for health professionals. It is recognized by the Italian government. They own their own headquarters near Pisa. There's big festivals going on around the world. In Malaysia they have 20 Rath Yatras in a year. More rath Yatras per capita than any other country. It's an Islamic country, but there's 15% Hindus, mainly communists, Telugu. But somehow the government lets each place have one rancher a year. Then go out in the Studio So it's like the show from the minority. We're here. Nice preaching. Moving down. They have this festival of inspiration last year, this last year in Atlanta they had a no Panihati festival. It's going to come up first, second, third, fourth opposite corners of the country. I bring a Panihati festival also in the Laguna beach in San Diego. Just the cheer dynamics that the whole festival is. In America they have this festival of Prabhupada in la. In Leicester every year they have retreat for the congregation. This year they also already have 200 voters can save for the weekend in those retreats in South America. But the Baltics they had have a.
Retreat.
That'S for Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Belarusia, Belarusia and Kalingrad. Kaliningrad. They all come for this festival of many other neighborhoods in Poland. In Russia they have this festival.
In.
Anapa 2000, 3000 people. Peace festival seven days. And they have also an outside in Siberia, 500 people Moscow 1000 Croatia they have a 10 day festival with the Rath yacht people from Slovenia, Bosnia, Serbia, Croatia, nearby Austria, Italy, elsewhere. Serbia is an unfriendly place to some extent, but so they have a festival there now to Serbian devotees in Australia there's a fair called Move overdone and they have a festival there. Dominoes, they have ear round festivals. I just had an indoor rat catcher there from the dish in the temple opening 50,000 people. We open a new temple in Tirana Valley. Tamil, Prabhupada's birthplace has remodeled the temple. They have over 60 actives. It's expanding very quickly. Before opening centers you need to have devotees who are perfect or at least trying to become perfect. So we develop our temple. We want the devotees to develop spiritually. The Gnome spirit Polish tour. They've got 18 to 19 lava centers in Poland. And this tour reaches 5,6000 members of the public and congregation almost every day. Supposed to be a video it sometimes it works. I don't know how it works. Creation they've been developing day at 14 vacuums Delhi they've got 24 Vyavikshas last year and 12 in Maida near Bali. Their target for two years is they have 250 Vativiksha groups. All interdynamic congregational groups. The Namhat and Mayapur has a two and a half month program where they go throughout Bengal and Assam. The tour of 60 devotees, four to three to five or six thousand people come every night. In that period they reach 600,000 people attending the Sydney. They purchased a new age resort, turned it into a Hare Krishna resort. They're promoting bhajan yoga. We let other groups rent it one night. They rented for one weekend $10,000. It's a good income to pay that mortgage. And then they have a big book stall where the people get all Prabhupada's books. They cater them all to Prabhupada Prashant. So that way they're reaching out to the Western roommates. People that are practicing yoga. No, we're now kind of like out of the sea. So this is an attempt to get in the scene by facilitating them and introducing bhakti to the yogis. Phoenix, South Africa. A congregation built this temple. This should inspire you for your temple construction here. What the congregation could do, sending the regular scores. You can see how you're progressing. The temple here, Kuala Lumpur. Map some of their scores and see some of the progression. Bosnia has eight bhakti rickshaw groups, even though it's a Islamic country. One center. They rent a hall every Sunday for a big feast. They're going to send me the scores, but I could never get all the scores. But they told me that I was exploding in America anyway. Many bakugshas there. We don't know that there's five Bakugshas here. We know there's 12 in Toronto. Six or 12, you don't get the scores.
Now.
I heard recently I've been sending. This was last December. 500 a day, 500 letters a month going to prisoners. We heard that there's nice programs in Chicago, Oregon, Pennsylvania and Oregon must be under this area. We heard them start promoting. We heard in Oregon, the prison Japanese beads are sold along with the chocolates. And next to the prisoners want a chocolate or a bean bag. I want a bean bag, though. I want a cha sweeter than chocolate. 100 JAPA beads were sold and 7,500 books in South India and in North India and Chennai they have six prisons have congregational programs. In Delhi, they have a TR jail, a DP in Lucknow. We don't have pictures because they don't let you take pictures in the prisons. We have a special program, Krishna Conscious Families. We're trying to expand this. Krishna Conscious Families. Shraddha Kutirs. Looks like you got a lot of ka conscious families here. Ten points of family. This is indoor rafiatra and mature days. So last year they gave out 6,000 packets of pugal kishari. In these Middle east countries, you can't have a ratio on the street. So they rent an auditorium like this to go around one time with the Girl, kids and the ladies and the men. Okay, top 20 temples in the world. Most of them are India and Asia. Washington 18. Top 5 large temples, medium temples, small temples. Top 5 congregations, 5 Indian temples. East Asia, Europe, Russia.
Cisco.
Exchange should be number one. Washington, Toronto, Montreal, Chicago, Seattle, Washington Key by the end of the year if you get 10 definitely move up and keep track of all your other programs. Latin America, Argentina, Mexico, Guyana, Australasia, Africa, Middle East. Which one of these is Bahrain? I was there in 94.
Very nice.
Yeah, it was Radaron Dos there. They actually got ransom with the government or something. Are they still very liberal there about allowing people to have temples? They gave us permission. Okay, here's our progress over the years. You see we've been gradually increasing. Vaiti rickshaw went up from 749 last year to 793 this year. Now Patas went up to 1274. Council group for two years. We haven't got Chaupati descended all the school think it various days it seems somehow we got nice support for all programs. Shanaguti is increased. His Krishna consciousness family is 5,785. I'm sure this family had tens of thousands of Krishna conscious women. We got this money reported this year. It doubled it. Almost 66,000 people attending education programs. 32 300,000 people attending Sunday fees. Almost 700,000 outside. 75,000 indoor festivals, 45,000, 46,000 children programs. We get 189 sporadic reports and 35 regular practical talk. Is very important to have regular reports on how the progress is going.
To.
Every year we give special awards. We like to know from you North America few people we give awards that we know about. One Rancho robot, the Bhakti Matshay and his wife. For what they're doing in Italy. That's quite groundbreaking. For their commitment to congregation development. This country there was nobody there. There was no Hare Krishna. And he got transferred from another country as a Jaguari. Started weekly sunk, you know Gita classes and programs. Now there's about a thousand devotees. Krishna Kantadesh non being filmed. This one is an underground. I love the shame. Why are you taking that? Hare Krishna.
Thank you for all coming. It's really a great pleasure. An honor and privilege to have His Holiness. Like I was telling you last Sunday, Dr. Raghu Maharaj mainly resides in the holy town of Mayanpur. Many travels all over the world. I believe he's mentioned in the Guinness World Book of Records. As one of the personalities who most traveled. So you can see how much it does for sure. He goes all the way from north to southeast to west, South America, North America, Africa, Middle East, India, of course, and just everywhere. And first time he came was two years ago. He has a very able disciple. He's really all hurt for bringing Maharajan. And then she came years ago. And then we documented it for Maharaj Sabal. You didn't remember us last year? I said, mari, we did. And I guess the message didn't get to him. But we were very happy to hear also last week that he was coming in. And so once again we were fortunate to have him. And he also will be here tomorrow morning to give the Bharatam pass. Quarter to eight. So please be here. And at the end after lecture, you have a nice feast. So please do participate. So with that.
It.
Put.
We'Re happy to be here again. I'm a minister of the congregation of.
The development ministry of this time that we also receive prison ministries and different initiatives around the world. So I'm very encouraged because I was interested in coming to Boise because it.
Was.
A congregational temple, a temple that came out from congregational devotees that constructed a developed temple and a community. And for me, I'm very concerned and interested.
That the community grows. And it's a very good example, Prabhupada.
This.
Quotation where he said that first people should want to become perfect. That should be perfect, just want to be perfect, develop the community. And then from there the temple comes. You don't have to create temples the initial way we made in iskand. I joined 1868 and I opened the temple in Montreal.
I didn't open it. I joined in Montreal, open in Toronto.
I helped open the temple in Chicago, in Calcutta, Mayapur. And those were the old days. Recently, more temples from different lives. So traditionally we would send some group of devotees and they would start a temple by renting a place, doing some preaching. But now what we're doing in different places is starting Naomi Hatha at kind of a congregational assembly. And devotees get together some. If someone has the resources, they may build a temple or hall or rental hall, have a facility, and then from there their congregation develops and the temple they come in many states, depending on financial burden or congregation.
They don't have it together.
They're like the Chippewa witnesses, where they develop their congregation. Then they call episode eight and they build a kingdom. What's it called?
Kingdom Hall.
And a couple hundred volunteers come over a weekend and build the home in three days. We have temples, halls, assembly halls. You know, we're not together like that. But this is something that's inspiring that there's some groups that they will do that maybe in the future. We have more and more narmatas, and somebody's group of narmatas develops. You can all go and build their temple. They had a. I went to their branch in England, national branch, and they have a catalog of 15, 20 different prefab temples that you can choose from. £98,000, 75,000, depending how big. We had a long way to go in terms of that kind of organization. But we're trying to develop our ministry and help the devotees around the world. So I did have a presentation about.
I worked out first into the class.
And then depending on what you'd like to see, I showed you the presentation of our annual report for the congregation of ministry to get an idea of what's going on in the other congregation a little bit. Yeah, interesting. Yeah. I thought probably first back here was something combined with either or shouldn't b.
First.
So on Friday, we have small group of meats here. I think we should say that right now we do active instruction. I think we realize tools.
What if you like.
It's open, but you see some of them have the nectar of instruction. So we just took us about two.
And a half.
Instruction.
Ahamdas, I am your servant.
That's so soon.
See, I don't have a demo.
You could also say, accept a spiritual master because you need someone as a teacher. So in the Vedas, there is a system called disciplic succession or guru parampara. And Rla Prabhupda came to the United States in 1966. 65. 66. And he started initiating disciples and Rla Jaya Pataka Swami is one of the very first disciples of RLA Prabhupda. And Prabhupda in San Francisco, they had a little temple in the 60s back in the hippie days, and Jayapataka Swami was there, and these devotees from that temple started going all over the world helping RLA Prabhupda. Those are the first Prabhupda disciples, the pioneers. Jayapattha Swami is one of the very first to do that. Go out. And he went to India, he went to Montreal. He went all over the world. Actually, he went to Chicago. And I became a devotee because he helped start the Chicago temple. So they were helping their spiritual master, even most of us, RLA Prabhupada. I also got initiated by Prabhupda. But actually, most of Prabhupda's disciples are actually Almost like disciples of Prabhupda's first disciples. And officially I'm a Prabhupda disciple. But I just want to encourage everyone that should have a spiritual master. That's the system for getting spiritual knowledge. Not just that I accept God. So Prabhupda established that. And Jaya Pataka Swami has done the same work for a long, long time. And I was in Chicago, and I heard there was this devotee that went around Chicago and was Jayapatakaswami. It was very difficult. It's very cold in Chicago. And to describe all the things that they had to go through to start that temple. It was almost impossible to start that temple. But somehow or other I got a book and I heard about Jayapataka Swami, and nobody saw him. He was over in India doing a lot of pioneering work over there. We're all very fortunate. And so I heard about Mayapur, and Jayapa Takaswamy has been working on Mayapur project since the early 70s. And I heard about it. I was a high school boy in about 15 or 16, and I was looking for the book called the Teachings of Don Juan.
I don't know what that book's about.
But I thought it was about. I always read, like, now they have the Da Vinci Code book. Everybody, you know, it's like a famous book. I used to always read whatever famous.
Book there was, even when I was little.
So I was looking everywhere for the teachings of Don Juan. And I don't know, it was about how to get a lot of girlfriends or something like that. You know, how to take drugs. I couldn't find a book anywhere. So I went to the Hare Krishna temple and I saw they had a couple of some books on the table. It was in old days, all I had was a card table and a very small temple. And then in one box, there was a box and it said the teachings of. You know, I thought, maybe it's the teachings of Don Juan. You know, it was the teachings of Lord Chaitanya. What? Well, I can't. I couldn't find that teaching Don Juan anywhere. I looked on. There's lots of bookstores in Chicago.
And I used to go.
I had a job and I. I was looking everywhere and I said, oh, I'll just get the genius of Lord Chaitanya, whatever that is about. So I never really got a lot of girlfriends, but I got the mercy of Lord Chaitanya. That's partly due to the work of Jayapatakaswamy also. All of these devotees, they had a little temple in San Francisco for it was in New York. And they started printing, making these books like Teachings of the Lord, helping Prabhupada Khan. They were just helping them. And Jaya Thakmaraj was over in India. They didn't even have any facility. They bought some land. They helped Prabhupada get some land in Mayapur. It was just pretty much mud. I saw some pictures. They told me, you can if you sell these books, you know, every little bit of every book would go to help build this temple. They showed the building with bamboo scaffolding. It was hardly in this bunch of Jayapataka. Maharaj was over there. He was doing everything. And he's still there, and he's still traveling all over the world. And we're all very fortunate. He's also initiating disciples by the hundreds, even this year, last year. And he's very, very much an instrument in helping his spiritual master, Srila Prabhupada. And I want to ask everyone to be humble and accept a spiritual master. Don't think that, you know, well, I can just accept God or I can just go accept Prabhupda as my guru. Yeah, Prabhupada. If you get initiated by Prabhupada's disciple or Prabhupada's grand disciple or whoever, if they're bona fide and authorized as a guru, then you're also initiated by Prabhupda as a grand spiritual master. So that's a system. And Jaipatta Swami is very excellently representing Rla Prabhupda, and so are a lot of Prabhupada disciples, even now, in the future, grant disciples. So I want to thank him very much for doing all that. I can't even begin to describe what he's done. It's all over the world, and he's still doing it. So thank you very much.
And this is a very auspicious day. It's a good thing. When we actually are wandering in this material world for so many lifetimes, and on one certain day, we get the opportunity to associate with the pure devotee of the Lord. It's like the odds of that happening are so astronomical that one would actually come into contact with the pure devotee this material world, that it's compared to a tortoise who's living at the bottom of the ocean. And he only surfaces once in 10,000 years. And there's a board floating on the ocean that has one knothole in it. If that tortoise, when he surfaces once in 10,000 years, should happen for his head to go through the knothole in that one board on the ocean. That's how rare it is to come into contact with the pure devotee of the Lord. So for me, I have no real ability to fathom the magnitude of the opportunity of association of Vaishnava pure devotee to the Lord. But somehow another, due to the extreme attrition and suffering in this material world, I'm forced to reflect there must be some way to free myself. And so on this day I was thinking when we were thinking about Sri Jab Takamar, it's coming in my heart. I was happy and aware that this was a rare opportunity for me to come and somehow or another get his blessings and to associate with him in a humble way. Of course, I always feel inadequate to do that to associate with the pure devotee of the Lord. But at the same time, the pure devotee of the Lord is so magnanimous and kind that he is coming of his own accord just to please his spiritual master. To please Ka. So actually it's a difficult position for a pure devotee because He Himself is not seeking any adoration or distinction. But in order to please his spiritual master, he's willing to take the position so that he can benefit others. And this is a great compassionate nature of the pure devotee of the Lord. So on this day when Sujab Thakmada came out, I feel very fortunate and I thank all of you for coming. And I pray to Krishna that we can somehow another have a spiritual joyous association and make wonderful spiritual advancements.
Thank you so much.
Hare Krishna. And at this point I would like to say a few words regarding accepting a spiritual master. It was instruction of actually Lord Chaitanya. Some time ago he mentioned I'll be there for only 950 years. 9,500 years. So we may not be getting that opportunity again as we may not be getting a human body next time. You may not know, but now we have a human body and coming here to Iskcon Temple. Hare Krishna Temple.
