A single-speaker YouTube talk by Jayapataka Swami arguing that devotional service does not automatically solve material problems or satisfy material desires. The speaker contrasts temporary material happiness with higher spiritual happiness and illustrates the point with an anecdote about a devotee of Lord Ram who received mercy from Lord Chaitanya, emphasizing spiritual benediction over material gains.

Some people think that come to devotional service, you'll have all your material problems solved. And you'll have all your material desires satisfied. Not, they say, get a higher Krishna and be happy. But this material happiness, not the real happiness we'll have. If you see Mar. And he loved Lord Ram and he got so much envious. Glorified Lord Ram. And so Lord Chaitanya appeared before him Divine Mormons, Lord Rama Chandra. Instead he gave him all kinds of mercy. He put on his feet, on his heart and his head. Gave the benediction that he needed always whatsoever the Lord God. My husband was happy with courage. It sometimes makes the point of the ground assault people they want to go mature happiness. And that's nothing compared to the happiness of Mario.
