A recorded devotional talk/story in which a man recounts dying and being taken by Yamadutas (death messengers) to Yamaraja, then returned to life with the advice that owning a Bhagavad-gita "as it is" from an ISKCON temple will protect him from future Yamaduta visits. The passage emphasizes the protective power of the Bhagavad-gita and depicts an emotional, devotional reaction.
Somebody had gone to the temple and and asked, bhagavad Gita, Jatharoop is there? Yes, aceh. And they said, yes, aceh. I'm a kingdom body. Can I buy it? Yes. Huh? And then the devotee brought a book and gave him this devotee, this person. He held the book and he looked at the book and he started crying. He started crying profusely. The devotee inquired, why are you crying? Then he told his history. I died. I died. I was taken by the Alma Tutas to Yamaraj. I was taken by Yamadutas to Yamaraj. Yamaraj said, this is the wrong guy. Yamaraj said, this is the wrong guy. Take him back. And at that time, my body was taken in procession to the Ishasanghat. Hallelujah. Hariba. Ram nam satyah. Ram nam satyah. Ram nam satyah. Okay, everyone, they did say so. Then the Yamadutas put me back in my body. And as they were leaving, one of the Yamudutas told me that nearby to you there is an Iskcon temple. And if you get a Bhagavad Gita as it is from the Iskcon temple, we will never approach you. We will never come to you. So he was being carried in the palanquin and he set up. All the people got frightened. Dead body came to light. All the people got frightened. Dead body came alive. Oh, is this a bhoot? Nah, nah. No, no, no. That's all right. I'm not a ghost. Then he said, all right, all right. It's okay. I am not a ghost. He ran to the Iskcon temple. Then he got down and he ran to the Iskcon temple. He bought the Bhagavad Gita as it is. He bought the Bhagavad Gita as it is. When he hid his head and he was remembering the Alma Duttas and the hell and everything, he started crying. He had the Bhagavad Gita in his hand. And when he remembered the Yamadutas and hell, he started crying.
