Thank you for giving me this opportunity to glorify a few words about His Holiness Jayapataka Swam Maharaj on 9 April 1949, a person by the name John Gordon was born. And at 14 years old he graduated at the very top of his class from the St John Academy. He entered into the one of the most prestigious universities at that time known as the Brown University. As a fresh enrollee he was moved by a Buddhist guest talk and he started his search for spirituality and an Indian guru. He wanted to go to India for the search for his fulfillment. And at it was at that time he met the Hare Krishna devotees. A group of devotees were singing and chanting and distributing many books. One such devotee came up to Guru Maharaj and gave a book. And immediately Guru Maharaj had suddenly had a flashback of his previous memories. Like as if something had been revoked in him again. After a very long time he started running around with ecstasy. And after he came back he saw that the devotees are all gone. Since ISKCON was not known at the time, he started his search very extensively for learning about iskcon. And at one point of time he learned that Radayatra was being conducted in San Francisco by Jayananda Prabhu. He met Jayananda Prabhu and expressed his desire for joining iskcon. And he joined iskcon. Surprisingly, in just two months after he joined ISKCON in Montreal, Canada, he took his first initiation from Srila Prabhupada and was renamed as Jayapada Gdas Brahmachari. And very soon he took his second initiation in New York. Upon the instruction of Srila Prabhupada, he moved to India in what was known as the cheapest flight in history. He moved from Montreal to London to Brazil, then to Bombay, then to Calcutta. This was to save money. Upon the instruction of Srila Prabhupada he went to Calcutta and started learning Bengali by going out to buy fruits and vegetables. And he just. He gave classes in Bengali and the devotees around there would perfect him in his talks and he just perfected his Bengali learning. After that he moved to Mayapur as the devotees found a place in Mayapur and he moved to Mayapur. And in Mayapur he started Agriculture as they were in need of many funds. He studied many books, selected the best crop and the best farming method. And he did agriculture and reaped the best benefits. The local farmers around there were surprised by his achievements and they learned farming from him and he learned Bengali from them. Thus he further on perfected his Bengali knowledge. And on the auspicious day of Radha in 1970, Prabhupada gave Sanya's initiation tour Maharaj and he was renamed as Tridandi Bhiksho Jayapataka Swami Shila Guru Maharaj Ki and then he started working for the development of Mayapur. The Lotus building was being built and Guru Maharaj always used to carry some guns. He upon the permission of Srila Prabhupada and the local police to protect the devotees from the attacks of local villagers. In 1977, a massive attack occurred on Mayapur by local villagers. He organized a peaceful march protest against that attack by taking 25,000 disciples organized into 168 kirtan groups to Chand Kasi Samadhi and 10 to Jagannath Temple. In 1978, when floods ravaged the villages of Bengal, he gave emergency food supplies to each and every rooftop, houses, treetop people and the interiors of India. This made tens and thousands of villagers to petition at the Union Home Ministry Court of India. And the court gave the. The court gave the Indian citizenship to Jayapattak Swam Maharaj. And then in 1989 the sad incident happened where a madman came and stabbed Guru Maharaj. And when he was in need of blood, the blood containing Hepatitis C was injected into Maharaj. And from that point of time his liver became a problem. He gave his life and soul for the development of Mayapur. He worked hard day and night. He would always be at least two hours late for each and every prasadam. He as one devotee remarked his service to development of Mayapur remains unparalleled forever. His heart and mission was was to preach and spread the mission of Srila Prabhupada. Bhakti Siddhan Sarsath Thakur took on the mission of Bhakti Vinod Thakur. Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada took on the mission of Bhakti Siddhan Sathakur. Now Jayatak Samaraj is carrying the mission from Srila Prabhupada. And he is urging all of us to carry the mission too. As yesterday Maharaj explained that we should all and we should all become Guru. We should preach Krishna Consciousness wherever we go. Whenever Whoever we meet and whenever we go, this is the mood and mission of Guru Maharaj. He offered his life and soul to His Holiness Ac Bhaktivedanta Swami Shila Prabhupada Prabhupada Guru Maharaj Ki Hare Krishna.

Who else would have explained this scripture so clearly and beautifully? Who else would have tolerated all difficults and distributed Hari Nama with a pleasant heart? Who would have given us the Dharma such as Mayapur Vrindavan and Jagannath Puri Sa Mahari Prachari Yadi Prabhupada Nam the teachings of law Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu constitute the most greatest and auspicious treasures. Who else would have engaged us in constantly practicing and preaching about it? Sri Sri Nithai Gaurera are desired trees of love of Godhead Desiring a drop of their mercy Jayapataka's hurt instantle their shelter of your divine grace.

His resilience and unwavering faith have inspired many to persevere in their own spiritual journeys, travels and teachings. Guru Maharaj AJ traveled extensively preaching and teaching in various countries. His teachings focus on spreading Krishna consciousness, chanting, serving others and developing a personal bond with Krishna. He has also authored multiple books. Conclusion Gurmaraj is an inspiring figure due to his dedication, contribution and incredible resilience. So I will summarize what Maharaj told the first song. Maharaj. The Ohe Vaishnava Thakur It a request prayer to the lotus feet of the Vaishnava. You are the most merciful. Please give Me, dust from your lotus feet. Only you can deliver Krishna to me. I can just simply run behind you calling Krishna, Krishna, Krishna. Only you can give me the real treasure Krishna and his holy name to me. Please be merciful. And in the second song Nadia Godreme Maharaj mentioned the only asset which is required is faith. The only asset which is required is faith. Faith and faith and money is not required. And the topic which is given to me today is that how to follow Guru's instruction without any compromise and no dilution. And by the mercy of Prabhupada we have got this rare opportunity. So if we want to follow the Guru's instruction as it is, first we should have complete faith, complete faith in him and also complete faith in his words. So the purport is that one who has complete faith in Ka and one who has complete faith in Guru, the import of Vedic knowledge is revealed in his heart. Sometimes devotees speak what Prabhupada has spoken. But what is favorable to them in that context they will quote and they will make statement what is told by Srila Prabhupada. So one person asked Prabhupada, Prabhupada, you have told like this. Then Prabhupada replied to him, where did I say like this? Where did I comment like that? So Prabhupada has emphasized without any duplicity and without any cheating propensity, one has to speak as such. It is so Prabhupada has also mentioned if we present as such, it is sometimes it may be embarrassing to others. So we cannot present as such. It is also in some context Prabhupada has mentioned we have to speak only the truth. And also one has to see to that others also don't get disappointed. So Prabhupada as mentioned in Bhagavad Gita, one has to speak the truth and what should be also pleasing to others and what is also beneficial to others and that which can also elevate their level. But in this world we cannot find a person who can speak speak the truth and that is also pleasing to others and that can also benefit others and that can also elevate others. Very difficult to find such a person. So generally people in this age of Kali Yoga, they have a selfish motive. And with that selfish motive what can be beneficial to them they speak only with such selfish motive. So there was a wedding ceremony happening. So in the stage, both the bride and bridegroom they were sitting together. So in the bridegroom his parents, they were in one side Bride and bride parents, they were on the other side. So at that time, he was supposed to tie the knot in the bride's neck. At the time, the bride, she was praying to the Lord that he should not torture me, he should not beat me like that. She was appealing prayers to the Lord, that was her desire. So her parents, they also had their own desires. So he was actually praying this girl, she should be submissive to me. Not only she should be submissive, she should be also disciplined. So the bride's parents, they had a desire. So they had a desire for the marriage ceremony of their daughter. He put an insect in the utensil which was with water. So it was actually struggling for life in the water. So the teacher was instructing, see how it is struggling. So the student was asking, if you put the insect in the water, it will struggle only what is the deal? Then he immediately put the insect in the utensil which was with liquor. Then that insect died immediately. Then he the teacher asked, have you seen it? So the student was asking, okay, you put the insect in the water, it was struggling. Now you put it in the liquor, it has died. So what is the matter? So the teacher was saying that actually if you drink liquor, you will die. Then the students, they were replying, do you know for what purpose we are drinking liquor? There are many insects in our stomach. For that insects to die, only we are drinking liquor. So actually when I am singing, you follow it nicely. Mataji is also danced nicely in the stage. Do you think that actually Prabhu's can dance? If they dance, actually the earth will tremble. So yesterday he was mentioning about the rocket. Once gone, it is going to come back sometimes. Actually, whatever the Guru has instructed, they want to follow that. But they will not do anything and they will remain idle. So how to execute those instructions? Practically they don't have that knowledge. So Vyasadeva, he mentions that Dharma is very intricate and subtle. It is very difficult to understand the loss of Dharma. So Vyasadeva also mentions that if you speak as such, it is it is not going to be Dharma. So it is also that what is being pleasantly spoken, that is also not to be considered as Adharma. So what is beneficial to others and that is spoken, that is to be considered as Dharma. So if you speak something and if many persons come to our moment, that is actually real Dharma. So even if you speak unpalatable, but it gives an impetus that I have to take shelter of Krishna, that is also to be considered as Dharma. So if you speak the truth, but at the same time, if it takes one away from Krishna, you also have to consider that that is not also not the real Dhar. So we all know that in Mahabharata, how? Actually, Yudhishthir Maharaj was requested to tell a lie. But that lie was told as Dharma by Lord Krishna. So Krishna also says that actually in the forest only one tree is being cut and fallen down. But the total forest is being vandalized. So even in that case, it is the Dharma. So here Krishna mentions that actually the total forest has to be protected. But at the same time only one tree is being only cut. So Krishna says that that is not Adhar. So Krishna's instruction is very, very important. And we have to abide in this world by Dharma. So everything is emanating from me. Krishna says to Arjuna, but at the same time, in the context, some is also not Adharma. So first we have to understand what is Dharma. Then we have to analyze ourselves whether we are actually abiding the Dharma and we are in this moment, or with any selfish motive, are we following the Adharma path. So in Srimad Bhagavatam 7th Canto 11th Chapter, 2nd Sloka Naradamani is instructing Yudhishtha Maharaj about some vrata. So Yudhishthir Maharaj is asking Naradamani who is actually among the human beings who are in the top level, so which type of modes of people can attain their life's goal? Sanatana Dharma. So Nrada was replying that whatever the Sanatana Dharma has told by Lord Narayana to me, I am instructing the same. So one who follows the Sanatana Dharma and in that way one who takes shelter and making him the life's goal, he is actually abiding by the rules of Dharma. So Dharma means actually it is only the supreme truth, Krishna.

Only Krishna can change the fate of every living entity. So Bhagavadam emphasizes that actually when we remember Krishna and when we follow his instruction, even if poison is is coming to our hand, it will turn as Amrita, and even enemies, they will turn as friends. So the scriptures also reveal and emphasize that if you are doing anything not connected to Krishna, it will be transformed as Adharma. At the same time, if we do anything connected to Krishna, and even if it seems to be Adharma, it is to be considered as Adharma Bali. So if you understand the Dharma and if you introspect and if you analyze that am I really following in the path of Dharma, then actually by the mercy of Gurudev, then your life will become complete. 7th Canto 11th chapter from Sloka 11 to 1830 Types of Dharma that which one can follow is instructed by Narada Muni to Yudhishtha Maharaj. So Dharma means actually it has 30 rules. So Sanatana Dharma means one should actually be honest and he should lead a life in a straightforward manner. Second, he should live with a merciful mood. Third, actually he should lead a austere life. Fourth, he should lead a pure life. Fifth, he should live a life of patience. Sixth, actually he should be able to discriminate what is good and bad. So seventh is that actually he should be able to. So in Srimad Bhagavatam 7th 11th chapter, in the verse 8, 9, 10, 11, the 30 regulations for Dharma are all being listed. So you have to go down all those lists and then to understand that actually we need the mercy of the spiritual master. And the spiritual master has come as a teacher. Are we abiding by that? So we have to have a deep introspection on that. So in Manusamti it is mentioned that after a student he fulfills his gurukul life. And when he returns back home. Actually the spiritual master gives two main important instructions. One is that actually he should always speak the truth. Second thing is that he should abide by Dharma always. Third is that he should not sell what he has learnt. Fourth is that he should always abide by the instruction of the spiritual master guest Aditi. He should worship them as God. 11th he should worship spiritual master as God Paniranda. He should not deviate from the path of truth. 13th is that he should always have love and affection towards his spiritual master. And 12th is that he should not involve in any evil deeds. 13th is that he should culture good qualities. 14th is that according to his capacity he should donate. 15th is that when he gives in charity, he should not give with ego. 16th he should not deviate from a good path. So when he is abiding by the instruction of the spiritual master and if he has any confusion, then actually he has to approach the superiors. Superior means one who doesn't have any selfish motive. One who are not contaminated in their consciousness. One who always think and lead life for the benefit of the people in general. So whenever there is a struggle or confusion in following the instruction of the spiritual master, we have to approach the senior devotees and superiors. The self realized souls are considered to be superiors. So here Krishna mentions in Bhagavad Gita in chapter 18 in the Slokas 51, 52 that actually self realized souls means they have got knowledge which is very pure. Pure knowledge means they are very wise. So they would have got knowledge with wisdom. They would have struggled life with good and bad and with that experience they would have attained this. So we should not disobey the instruction of the spiritual master. So we should not misinterpret the instruction of the spiritual master. We should not dilute those instructions. Then we should also be very conversant with all the 30 regulations of Dharma. So whenever there is struggle, confusion or we find that there are fault in us, then we should approach the superiors who are self realized and we should get our guidelines. So the disciples are considered to be the sons of the spiritual master. Amanu has mentioned there are four types of sun in this world. So the first class son is that even before he gets instruction he can understand actually what the Father is expecting and he can act accordingly even before he gets that instruction. The second category of the son is that after he gets the instruction from the father, he acts accordingly. The third is that even after getting instruction, he is not respecting that. So putra or putri, it means that putra means actually one who can deliver his forefathers from the hellish condition to call the put. So the second category of son is that after getting his instruction, he executes that. So the third category is that even after repeating the instruction, he is actually executing that in an unwanted mode. The fourth category is that even if he gets instruction from the father 10,000 times, he doesn't even move an inch. He is actually not a putra, but he is actually urine. So Manu mentions that actually it is always best to be in the first category of son. Or else he can be in the second category. Or else at least he can be in the third category. But never one should degrade himself acting like urine. So when we approach a spiritual master, then spiritual master also gives us some instruction. If you don't disobey those instructions, it is possible that even in this lifetime we can attain the lotus feet of the Supreme Lord. So it was instructed to Mahaprabhu that you should not be like a murka sanyasi. Murka sanyasi means you should dream. Now we are only dancing. So Mahaprabhu also replied that my spiritual master also told me that I am a fool. I am not in a position to read and understand the imports of Vedanta Sutra. I have to just chant the holy name and dance. So yeah, disciple means he should always meditate and contemplate how to fulfill the instruction of the spiritual master.
