#JayapatakaSwamiArchives 20001124 || Addressing Devotees || Atlanta, US #JayapatakaSwamiArchives

A recorded Atlanta satsang (2000) led by Jaya Pataka Swami focused on thanksgiving and devotional practice. The talk emphasizes the potency of the Hare Krishna maha-mantra, guru-mercy, the value of association with advanced devotees and holy places (Radhakunda, Govardhan, Vrindavan), and the transformative power of kirtan (chanting). The session includes multiple devotees offering personal expressions of gratitude, a devotional dance performance, and announcements about upcoming pilgrimages and festivals (Kumbh Mela, Gaura Purnima, Mayapur programs). The tone is devotional, instructional, and communal.
Sam Ram.

Up to this line. Ra has a prayer that he offers to his spiritual master. But the prayer is like a thanksgiving because in Sanskrit the verb comes at the end. So he lists a whole number of spiritual blessings. And then at the end he said, yasya prabhuptagu. All these things I got for Tita kriya praya just by the mercy of my guru. So therefore I thank him and I offer my obeisances to him. So what were the things he says? Namatrishnam the best of the holy names. Marik today, when we were visiting Brody's houses, turned on radio and of course got the news station. After the news was ran out after five minutes. Not too much to talk about. Some people don't know how to count as anyway. Then we switched over to a religious station and there was a preacher giving a sermon. And he was saying what I mean in our lives. What if God wanted to reveal to us a miracle, A miracle to come close to him, to understand. What if he would actually heal on him? Would we be able to see it? Would we recognize it at that moment? Then I listened. Would he recognize if the Lord revealed to you the Hare ka Mahamantra, which is the best of the names of God to give back to God. It is actually the special gift of this age of Covey that if we chant the names of God, we can go back to God. Go back to the supreme personality of Godhead, Bhagawan very easily. But unfortunately, as a preacher for saints, other people can recognize that there's so many people who don't have that open mind to really understand how powerful the name of God is. He's a Christian rather than God is off to all this kind of a title. I could say president, prime Minister or something. He has his own personal transcendental names. Hallowed be thy name. So these names are holy in the Bhagavatam and in the Puranas and all the Vedas, that the name of the Lord is not different from the Lord. What Chaitanya explained. Nam, Naamakari, Babudyashari, Vishakti, Tarot. His holy name has been imbibed, empowered with all of the potencies of the Lord himself. What benefit we could get if we could meet the Lord face to face? You get directly by chanting his holy name. There's no difference between seeing the Lord and hearing the Lord. So this Raghu Madbas is one of the great spiritual masters in our line. He was assistant secretary to Lord Chaitanya. He was born in a very wealthy family. His family had to Pay in tax 1,200,000 gold coins every year. You can figure out. And that was 500 years ago, when people didn't even use money. They used little coin cutties. For most people, they didn't have to actually use coins. They could just use little quant shells instead of shells. A coin was so valuable that they gave off one coin even a hundred years ago. Baba said his father used to buy grains for the whole year for a couple of rupees. Just once a year go and buy grains, keep it in his cellar, just buy vegetables the rest of the year. But the grains is once a year just yogis. So he didn't thank you for being born in a rich family or thank you for all these other things, but he was just thankful that he could be initiated. And chanting the holy name of Kaepernick's name of the Lord, he was counting all his spiritual blessings, the hidden. And the wonderful thing is that wherever you chant, you see that those who participate in the chanting very quickly feel profound changes in their consciousness. A few days ago, I was at the Rafiatra festival, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on the Ipanema beach site. And they had hundreds of devotees for Juggernaut.
Banners.
Jagannaths, lotus on a stage of this big. All the kids running around with little. Don't really call that. What do you call them? It's not exactly a banner. It's signs, like little signs. But it's just Juggernaut's face on both sides. So when I came up, you could see it was like Juggernaut smiling hundreds of smiles. So Rio de Janeiro is known as the city of smiles. I said the only to hear the smiles of the Lord. This is a different kind of smile. This is a smile that you never have to suffer for. Whether you see it there or you see in Russia or you see in India anywhere, there's people chanting Hare Krishna. They immediately, within some time, they can feel tremendous spiritual force. So whether someone's a great saint like Raghuna Das, or whether. When I was in Russia then there was this couple. They had chatted with us the night before. They came the next day, came up to see me and they said, I just wanted to thank you all because. And I wanted to ask you a question. You see, last night we came by your tent and you were singing this song. So we sang with you for many hours. And I just want to tell you that I never felt happier in my.
Life.
But I don't know what I was singing. Could you tell me what is it that you were singing and why does it make me feel so happy? I mean, I've been all over the music. There was like 250,000 people. There were hundreds of music tents all over. And so you could go wherever you wanted. Like music lovers like these going this far or that far. Once they came into our tent, usually they didn't leave, they stuck out. They said never feel happier. They didn't have a clue what we were singing. Of course, we were just singing Hare Krishna over and over again. If you were Hitanga Ranger or something, but mainly Hare Krishna. See, even though this person didn't know why, what the song was, but still had the effect of giving such a profound happiness. So whether someone is a complete, I don't even want to say neophyte newcomer or whether someone is a very bad sing. Liberating soul. By chanting the Holy name From beginner to expert, everyone can feel a tremendous spiritual rejuvenation energy. So we get that he was God then by the mercy of his guru. So Nama Shasham. See, there are many holy names.
Name.
Of Vishnu, which is more than all the other names. There's a thousand names of Vishnu equal to one name of Ram, Eka Sastram of Turabis, Ekaramunam of Ravali. And 3000 names of Vishnu is equal to one name of Krishna. See, within the science of the holy.
Name.
There are different kinds of names of God. There's the names which are more titular, just describing his position and those are or some of his qualities in relation to the material world. All pervasive, all knowing, all powerful. But something which is directly relating to his pastimes when he incarnates or when he descends in this planet and has pastimes like his Lord Ram, those are a thousand times more powerful than the generic names about God Almighty, all powerful, such things, Vishnu dying. But then when Krishna comes, because he so much more merciful and he accepts everyone, there's even a thousand times, three times more powerful than the Abraham. So there's a whole science about the names of the Lord, which here in the west people are not. So maybe how much can elevate the chant? Siva is appreciating somehow of all the different names, Rama Shri he got the best. The mantra specifically mentioned and recommended for this age and there are many powerful mantras and all of them are holy and respectable, worshipable. But some mantras are more suitable for a particular period than others. And this particular period era, the mantra which is recommended, which is the best for delivering us is Hare Krishna. Hare Krishna. Hare Krishna. Krishna Krishna. I was just at 2, but we had a three day retreat there with 500 devotees. So we got Tirupati ladus. It's a special state, the ladus. They're like you can get a ladu this bag. Everybody just gets this one on the ladu. They get plastic bags when they give. It says where tea lag put. Ooh, somewhere in your house. Chanta daily mantra. So it says. But that's mentioned in the Puranas for the previous garage. This era specifically mentions Hare Krishna. So Nava Shastra Manum also Agatha Gayatri Mantra. After first we come to Ka consciousness and we participate in the program through Chand Hare Ka. Then we get formally initiated into the chanting except spiritual medicine. But after some time the spiritual master gives us the further blessing of Gayatri Mantra. Seven devotees are getting there. Well, they pass all the exams. Probably tomorrow morning, eight in the morning, the ceremony. Maybe some ceremony for some ladies who are mad who are expecting for the families to give them a blessing for their mother and their child. But this mantra is a secret mantra. Secret in the sense you don't chant it out loud, you have to chant it mentally. And the people get the mantra before they're qualified as a way benefit them. So it skepticism, secret. So that mantra also helps us to control our mind, helps us to advance. She was thankful because of the Guru. I could get this guide to mantra Rama Shastra. But then I press the mercy of Guru. I could get what she tells you. Association. He tried for many, many times to get the association of Lord Chaitanya. And finally here in Panihati we're here at new Panihati. So it's kind of extension of the old Panihati. That's what he's saying here. Sripa gave the place of Hengen Panihat which is where Lord Nithyananda who is the original guru became Ravanath died. A blessing to go and meet Watchitan. Every June we celebrate that festival year for what Uchinana gave that mercy to Renati Nupanihati Bhagavad's D festival in June. The rapid. Yes. So those who haven't been, don't miss it next year. It's a very special festival. Biggest festival of the year here. So he Was thinking because he wanted to meet Lord Chaitanya now that he mean Lord Chit. But when he met Lord Chaitanya then Lord Chaitanya said okay, you can be my. You can assist Salubh Dhawana who is Lord Chaitanya as part of the second time. So that put him in a very close proximity to Lord Chaitanya on a daily basis. Where he could hear also from Surabdamran there all the intimate nectar about what to come in. In fact, Ramana Das is one of the main sources of Chaitanya Chiram. These books which tell the life of vocal in his latter life when he was in Jagannadapura. So I got the association Vrindavan the Rupagos for Swami and his older brother Sanata Bhagavad Das is one of the six. We call it six Goswami. The six spiritual masters who were empowered by Lo Chitanya to preserve the holy places. Rather reveal the places of Vrindavan to write scriptures or to carry on the.
Movement it.
So to get association with devotees. It's not an accidental thing. It's a special mercy. And if you get association with with some very advanced devotee. Then that can help you to advance also in your Ka consciousness. Help all of us. In fact, Bakiri Noa Thakur he said that we should look for some advanced devotee to follow, to associate with, to emulate, to serve that we meet and purify. So all the devotees, especially the racing devotees Ramana Das could associate with. He took it as blessing of his.
Guru.
That one thing led to the next. Ultimately is the mercy of Guru Mahda Saru. Then all of the devotees of Vrindavan and Mathura we could associate with Raha Kunda. Then of course, Raghavagast he was especially fond of. He was worshipping Rah Giri Varam on the side of Govardhan hill. He used to pay obeisances a thousand times or how many forget how many thousands of times to Govardhan, to Vaishnava train his mind in humility. So in all of the Just as we have the mantra is the holy sound. And we also have holy places. So Radhakundan and Govardhan these are the special holy places where Ka had very intimate pastimes.
And.
Those places also contain a spiritual forest. Recently the chairman of the GBC Melinda Serupa where he was standing by the Govregaon next to Govardon, 50ft from Gorgan for one month in 64 rounds, 100,000 days fasting that was the best thing I ever did. So holy places are meant to go to and get bath, spiritual batteries recharged. The temple is also a place for us to do that. This is an extension of the holy place. We come here, do some service, worship the bees here in the class, get some prashant, get some spiritual vibration. Because as we're working in the material.
World.
It'S very easy to forget our spiritual nature. That we're not this body, that we're eternal spirit soul that actually came into this world as a conditioned soul. But as a human being. We have the birthright to get out of this cycle of reincarnation and to get back to Godhead, back to Ka. But in the material world there's so much propaganda to bring us into the forgetfulness of our spiritual consciousness and just see the sensual reality that's only the that exists that we need to have that association. So that's why in these cities we have these temples so that all of the city dwellers can come here and get some spiritual rejuvenation, able to go there and stay in Radhakunda Govardhav many devotees having visit these places, many in their lifetime go to these places and visit. I went with 150 devotees to bring down this year. And we spent some days different holy places.
Even now.
Taking the time to.
Go.
Deep into the past times and remember what happened in those places 5,000 years ago when Krishna was walking on the planet. Something very wonderful too. Here the pastime is at the place where the pastime happened. Just that we went to Brahmandagat. That's where the pastime when Krishna was playing with his friends and some balaramas came up to mother Yasoda and complained that Krishna was eating dirt. She called Krishna and said, you're eating dirt, you shouldn't eat dirt. I said, I'm not eating dirt. He's lying. There are small children playing. So sometimes children feed on the other. So they just want to get me in trouble, but I'm not eating dirt. You can look in my mouth and see there's no dirt. So the mother said, okay, open your mouth, let me see. Krishna opens his mouth, so looks inside, looks at Krishna's mouth. She has this vision where she sees the entire universe inside Krishna. Unlimited universes, the material universes, the spiritual universe, everything. And their head is like spinning and what's going on then seeing that within the entire creation of all the unlimited spiritual worlds there's material existence and within that there's this universe that we're in and in that universe, there's the planet Earth. And on the planet Earth, there's Vrindavan. And there she's in the Bharuandagat, looking in his mouth. And she's looking at herself looking at his mouth. And look, you know, it's like you see them.
It's a.
Those mirror rooms where you see mirror. After just seeing herself looking at his mouth, seeing all this, then she closes. Okay, I'm here. What is this? So you go there and it's the same God that he hear the mud. You want to see the mud that allegedly Krishna was eating here. You know, like they give you little pieces of mud. So it's nice to visit those places and where all the different pastimes happen. For Krishna, although he is the supreme Lord who came down, just acted like a boy to give his devotees spiritual happiness. So he was thankful that he could visit all these holy places. We'd be living in those holy places, Ramana Das. And he said Radha Madhava Asam. The last thing he thinks is I have a desire to serve Radha and Krishna. Just like we're usually harassed by so many desires to enjoy the senses. So many desires to try to create a material happiness. But it's very rare to find somebody who actually wants to serve a God. Until happiness comes and goes that can keep it permanently the same. Because the nature of this world is always changing. So it's not really something you have to work for. Even somebody works very hard. This is the main suffered so many difficulties. There's a history of the richest man in Brazil a couple hundred years ago. He actually owned the central bank, he owned the railway, he owned Bangladesh. Everything in the whole country was the richest person. But then the emperor and everybody gained upon him. He got invested. He also owned Uruguay, a few other countries. Here. The Rothschilds in London did a number on him. They were bigger than he was, of course. And basically because of a concerted effort and bad karma and whatnot, he lost everything and went bankrupt. So he was the richest person to, you know, bankrupt people, throwing rotten potential down. Then he had a religious experience again. He got himself back together, materially speaking also. There's so many stories, material life, you never know how things turn out. But if we're spiritually fixed and that's what's the most important, we can always survive through the material trials. So what's the rarest thing is to actually have a desire to serve Ka. So it really wants to serve Radha and Mah. So he considered that he also got by the Mercy of his guru. So that's how he. Every day he would offer his prayer of thanksgiving. That's how he would respect his spiritual master. That was the favorite prayer we heard from different our spiritual uncles that used to play with prayer used by Srila Bhakti Siddhantas there. Shoki Kapoor Vice virtual grandfather Prabhupada Guru used to recite regularly. Everything was giving his classes. I remember some years ago we were visiting holy places in Bengal and we went to this place of Vasudev Ghosh. Vasudev Ghosh is one of the lead singers of Lord Chitinis and teaching. I mean, hear the names. But I didn't really know so much about Rasmude Bosh. He was a householder and he was living halfway between Bengal and Oasis. It was easier for him to get down to see the Ochitanjanguri. He was in bold to pastimes. We sing his name. We sing the Aarti Gora Aarti kiba jayo Ojayo. One is gosh. So Ghosh means Vasud. But there are other Ghoshas, particularly G in that song. He was one of our lead singers. So when we were there, it's in that holy place that some of the priests that were there sang one of the songs that he wrote. And it was another. It was also a Thanksgiving kind of a song. I don't know if anybody here knows. I don't know the whole song. But it was. The lead line was.
If what she.
Tanya hadn't been, what would have been? You know, the situation. Then it goes through. It's a vocal. To give us the highness and Kritan to give us the holy places, yield us the Bhagavatam. The song goes like that. If he hadn't come, if he hadn't been here. If he hadn't come, then who would have known all that for us? Who would have revealed it to us when they were singing the song about the ghosts? It's such a beautiful song. It just really touches all the things we take for granted. Actually, all special gifts. Maybe we get it too easy. So we don't appreciate how wonderful what gifts it is. And I was just thinking, if Prabhupada wasn't, you know, if he hadn't come, then what would be our situation here in the west or even in the east, even in India? So many, you know, our fellow Hindus who are not aware about bhakti, the ganes and the karmis and the various other paths in there and they don't know about bhakti. Or even those who know about bhakti, they don't know the special facility that Lord Chaitanya has given us. And about the Maha Mantra on Hare Krishna which is mentioned in Vegas. So how did missing the doctrine have that information?
So.
If Prabhupadana brought this message, then what would we mean? What would message today? So like that those are the. Those are two thanksgiving kind of songs that come to mind on this day of thanksgiving. But there's many others like that. A lot of our songs of appreciation, just like we sing with samsara Dhavanala prayer a few times a day. It's also meditation. I don't know how the guru is caring and for his disciples and how.
He'S.
Giving a spiritual connection with Krishna in different ways. Some partners like thanksgiving meditation. The word in Sanskrit for merciful is called royalu or kripalu. And the word for miser is kripal.
Na.
No mercy, Kripa is mercy, Kripalu is merciful. And kripa no mercy means miser. So they say that if a person is not grateful for the things that he receives from others, then that's another form of being a mahesar or kripa. That it's natural we should be grateful for whatever we see. You know, maybe our nature tendency to think that the world owes it to us, we should get it because we're a number of numero uno. Everything revolves around us. I heard somebody say recently the reason the sun and the moon rise and set every day is just to remind us every day that love is not revolving around us. If you feel grateful then that we're gracious and that's then we think of mercy giving out some charity to the impoverished. It's also just to reciprocate even what probably we should do automatically to help our parents do for us, help our spiritual master or Krishna or friends. Whether it's of course today thanks to this question is thanking more of us for the pioneers of America. They are thinking about how they survived so many difficulties. So they were feeling thankful. They have their way of expressing if we really appreciate how much Krishna is doing for us. And reciprocation for that of course is not just to offer one day in.
Prayer.
But to really reciprocate on a daily basis. The difference between devotional service and other forms of religion is that devotional service or bharati means that we actually established our intimate personal relationship with the Lord, which includes appreciating the things he's doing for us, which appreciating his wonderful connection and trying to please him. If you realize somebody is your best friend to the thick and the thin, they've always helped you. Everybody else deserts you, and this friend is there to help you. At some point, one should be appreciative and reciprocate with the friend. So we realize that Krishna is such.
A.
Suhidan sarbutanam of all the living entities. And then we reciprocate with his friendship to us, trying to be a friend to him, to a servant, to him, to worship him, to appreciate him, to serve him, glorify him for him. And that's like he really appreciates that. It's very rare. Most people, they just have a very rudimentary kind of relationship. Taking from the Lord without needing it. We're reading in the Bhagavatam class this morning how the Lord has two functions. To give blessings and to protect his devotee. That's the general role he has. But the highest benediction he can give is when he actually brings you into his inner circle and lets you serve Him. So that's what appreciates. It brings us to also wanting to serve him out of appreciation. Even if we serve him accidentally, without knowing it, what we're doing, still it brings anointed good benefit. And if we actually consciously do it.
Then.
That opens up the doorway to go back home, back to Godhead, and to be with basically here, because we're ungrateful, rebellious souls, we start to appreciate the Lord, stop being rebellious, becoming submissive. And so. And the service attitude, there is no reason for being here. We are rehabilitating. So bhakti is the supreme rehabilitation process. And it's very joyfully done. One can adopt somehow, another, by association, by by purification, the attitude of devotion, of bhakti, then we are free. That itself is a liberation to some reason. Bhakti, they don't suffer in the material world. Their consciousness is elevated beyond that. So I was wondering whether we said, what would be nice to have somehow interactive about one way, break up into small groups, have everybody brainstorm what.
Who.
And what, what they feel grateful to in their spiritual life, who and for what. But I don't know if that would take. Give it five minutes, it might take longer. We can get a straw field for several people. Otherwise you could just have everybody talk to their friend next to them and just share something that they like to share. And after that, we can just get some highlights from people, what they heard, what they like to share. Do that for 10, 15 minutes. That's another way of doing it won't be as comprehensive. Get the feel for things really easy right now. We'll just do that. Everybody like whoever you're sitting next to, just tell them one or two things that's on your mind that you'll feel thankful for in your spiritual life. Whoever's next to you at the spirit. Two people make three. How many like it? Now if you could share with us, tell us some of the persons that you were thankful for or some highlight to make a got another mic.
Ra.
Sa And I'm also grateful for Krishna's mercy evil.
My husband for being such a good Krishna conscious husband and for my son. And I feel very blessed to have my son and this other child. And I'm also grateful for Krishna allowing me to remain in the association of the devotees to derive the nectar of the enemy association. Thank you.
Hare Krishna. I'm very grateful to and Gita Devi Das. We are initiative devotees of Gupad Krishna Maharaj who exposed us to Krishna consciousness about four years back. And they were so persistent on a daily basis, daily, weekly basis. They used to invite us to programs, house programs. And they're not only persistent with us, but they used to be persistent with everybody. They used to invite people to programs. People used to not come, but they used to not stop calling them. And maybe if they don't call them a week, they'll call them about a month, two months later on. But one way or the other, people used to come maybe after six months years together and be grateful because they got the exposure to this count. I remember a case of they told us about a devotee in Atlanta. They did not come for six months year, for about two years. After about two years they came and they heard the program. They came on repeatedly and then after about a couple of years they got initiated. So they expressed their gratefulness to Geeta Gunda a lot. And I cannot express in words the gratefulness about Geeta Gurunda. They are present in India and Bombay, but they are really shakers of the movement. They are doing preaching programs in Bombay. They used to do so many programs in Atlanta. So I just.
Krishna, I give thanks to you. B. Coming from the professional world, just coming out here every Sunday and being a true observer, observing what's going on, even though that I'm not physically writing them and writing it in my head, which I think I could wrote a pretty book right about now. But for you too, your dedication, your dedication to the temple and also to the temple body and the congregation has really overwhelmed you. And I thank you very much for that.
Mine kind of echoes hers. I wanted to say that I was really grateful for our temple president, Boba Butcher, because I think he's the glue that holds the temple together here in Atlanta.
And.
We just all need to realize what a great soul we have in.
Our midst because a lot of times.
We tend to take it for granted. I know for me, I'm, you know, joining here in Atlanta. I'm very used to having him as my temple president. And sometimes I forget how wonderful. So it's a nice time to express gratefulness for that.
First, I want to thank Gandhari very much. She was very, very nice to me when I was living in the temple. I can never forget that. And then of course, Balvatra and you had to. I don't understand just God, but I believe in God. I don't understand this. And I also want to thank Acharika and Jim. So my way of playing my system is little different. It's hard for me to understand otherwise. I appreciate him very much and I thank Gandhari and Balvandra very much. I want to say thank you to Raja Rani. We had heard a lot about Navi Prabhu, but he's back and safe and I'm very happy seeing him today in Tampa. I want to thank everyone for praying for. I want to thank. Thank actually Krishna for giving birth to sh. Pr, you know, having Srila Prabhupada now to actually bought this temple, you know, alive. Otherwise all of us wouldn't even be here to thank all these people. Show upon much mercy. He came here to do no pain. So much so if it wasn't for him, I don't think I'd be existing the way I am. My father, my mother, all these devotees, more secrets, more secrets, more than. I don't think I'll ever be able to. Actually.
I just thank all the devotees here. Last year at Thanksgiving, I came to this temple to visit and they were having this Thanksgiving feast and jagora, blue square chops and vegetables in the kitchen. And a year later, they're still here. And it's a one of host prayers to be here in Krishna consciousness. I thank Swami. I was here three days and he gave me a nice blessing that I can continue here. I just like to thank Krishna devotees for that opportunity. I should have turned the bhai. I have to certainly thank my Guru Maharaj. I know I'm a big rascal, but I was sitting here trying to think of something that's the most wonderful thing that has happened. I will try to zero in on the single most important thing which is again Krishna's action, how Ka acts. And that is having a deep lifelong desire to know the essence of everything. To know what is the Sunam Bonham to get to the bottom of it before I would leave this body. That was my great great fear. Somehow or other in a second handed shop I found easy journey to other planets. And from that point on Rla Prabhupada's books and Gurudev's mercy has kept me Jaya Shrila Prabhupada. I want to thank Krishna as the the super soul within and representing as a spiritual master on the outside. And I'd also like to thank all the devotees who guided me in my life that brought me here and especially like to thank everyone, each and everyone here who has helped support this temple one way or another and allowing us to become a great place of pilgrimage and opportunity for those of us to perfect our lives. Thank you very much. Really there's thousands of things to be thankful for.
But.
I think one of the things that I'm most thankful for is Jay Patakaswami. Except maybe disciple unworthy as I am. I'm also very thankful for such a wonderful family to go through life with a wonderful wife, mother me Loita and two wonderful children.
Thank you. The most important person I want to be very thankful to is my spiritual master for giving me rebirth and discipline succession of the Madhva Gaudiya Sampadhya to have a connection to Srila Prabhupada who is the second most, the second most my Paramu, my Guru's grew and then I want to be thankful to Krishna for giving me the opportunity to be born in this world to be under the discipline succession of Chaitanya Mahmoud. Thank you. I'm thankful for God for giving me a life and being in Krishna consciousness and all. Very nice.
And first time I came here 1975.
And Balur Prabhu was a vice president at that time. And as soon as I walked out of this temple about a few weeks later I started talking to Bal bro and most of the times I complain more than anything.
Probably we should do this, we should do that.
Still I'm complaining but I can't do anything but just love thumbs. And so thank you for my Guru.
Maha said to me like a disciple.
I'm very important to my Guru Ma. And so that's probably we fight each other sometimes. Every single time. Most times no problem it is.
And so I can only.
I think that I too much Complaining. I think I need to listen for my V stoppage. And thank you for Mara very much. Thank you for that.
I still get an opportunity to thank one of the most important people persons in my life is Vaishnavananda Prabhu. He was the first person to give me Christian. So 27, 28 years later I'm still here by. By his kindness that I'm here. So I thank you very much. So it's wonderful to hear different devotees see it's a very emotional thing people are feeling. That's what makes spiritual life special is that as eternal living beings we have personal relationship with Krishna and all and parcels. And that is an emotional, transcendental, blissful bond. I'm very grateful for bringing Krishna consciousness to all of us. Give me association of so many wonderful Vaishnavas like devotees here and Prabhu and other devotees. Chival gave me some service which I'm very grateful for because without service what can we do? But I'm not capable to do this service on my own. So I'm very grateful for the disciples and other devotees and Godbrothers and God sisters who are helping me to fulfill the services that Shah even.
And.
Which we still have to complete for furthering Prabhupada's message. We'll go on and on. But that's just a nutshell. We have here a little girl who wants to perform for the Lordship for all of your pleasure little dance.
Also.
We'Re having this year. I mean this Vaishnava year. That means next year 2001, January 9th until February 15th or so. There's a Kumbamela Maha Kuma Mela in Kayak, Allahabad in India. Last Maha Kumbh MELA There were 31 million people that attended. Just said if you made them some of the holy gates, that's it. Last lifetime. So people don't want to miss a chance. ISKCON have a very big camp for the Kumbh Mela. And those who want to go and stay in the camp, they have tents available that you can book. I'll give some papers to Mal in case anybody wants to. I didn't give them yet, but I'll give them.
Also.
There'll be a big massive census. 31, you know, I don't know how many millions of people go there this time, but it'll be somewhere between 25 and 50 million maybe population exposure. So we all see. We also do Prashad distribution and many kinds of charitable programs for the pilgrims. We're one of the Main distributors of free food. People go there, they get hungry sometimes so we feed the people. Apart from having our own tandem and preaching programs, sometimes people like to sponsor some of that Pasha distribution. So I'll say I'll be on Spring to Balaja Balvant if anybody wants to sponsor it either to me or Malabandra in contact. So there's Kumbamela coming up. After Kumbamela of course we'll have our Gor Purnima festival. There's a special Mayapur institute of higher Education students starts around beginning of February, end of January sometime goes through until five weeks.
And.
Go upon him a festival. I don't know the dates offhand, but starting mid mid February and going to about 6th March via Mayapur. Then after that goes to Vrigdava. So those who are interested of course always every year invited to come. This will be a special year because many people are coming for Kumbh Mela and then staying on after Kumamela for the Korapurima festival. I just thought I'd get you started thinking about that in case you're thinking of a time to go and visit India for our pilgrimage this year coming year is a special year for that we thank Lord Krishna gives us special festivals sometimes to give us some special mercy. So now we'd like to hear introduce this girl. We can ask everyone here to sit back behind the.
I would like to thank Krishna because Krishna is the most important person in our lives and I would like to thank that Krishna gives me a literature master which showed me way to go and develop my spiritual intelligence how to act, how to act properly in my life and how to use all my life, all my body, mind, intelligence to serve to Krishna and to engage of the other to remember about Krishna, to meditate and also get some information. And my service which Maya is pyjamas and Nadila Saudi gave is to be dancer dance. Classical dance is a very big service part of ceremonial worship in deities. I was always watching by only special person like Sannyasis or Brahma the most deities. Now everybody can sit and dance and this is big offering for God and I'd like to thank Krishna Krishna because I don't have association of master to master here but the presentation which I can have now is Japadhaka Swami and I'm very very happy that I have opportunity to offer this dance today for him. And I'm very happy that I can hear his class because he's very very inspiring my life give me power to go to the straight way. Because life is not so easy, not so simple. It's a lot of problems in material world. But the persons like Japan, like Master Jamasi, like Srila Prabhupada giving us the space and power to go with Krishna consciousness through our life and believe that we will meet Krishna in the end of our lives and that we will develop our body for this dance. What I want to do is preach children not only dance but also to develop Krishna consciousness means understanding what means service. What is service? Especially young girls levels beauty of value. And this is the nice way that they can offer this all attraction for Krishna to show how to a nice way attractive way to show beauty of Krishna. And today I would like to introduce all my class. I would like to introduce Chitra Madhu, Mohini Brinder and rather we see. I'm very thankful also for Krishna that Krishna sent me so Krishna conscious girls and they were so enthusiastic to do this service of Krishna and dance. I have a lot of plans in the future to preach in this way like I was doing with my teacher Master in Poland. And I hope that jeopardy also will take part in some things in our festivals which we will organize in Atlanta. And I'm thankful Krishna that Krishna sent me to Atlanta because Japan is coming so often here and I can have association and give this inspiration, this big inspiration for me. And I'd like to thank our girls that they are so enthusiastic and they want to learn that they do this very well. They was performing here a few times and I hope that this inspiration will develop in their heart and we can do something big for Krishna in the future. And now I would like to introduce also Radhika. I want to tell that if we know before that JP is coming, we'll prepare our own group. But we didn't know and only one person, you know, it's like the longest time practice is done. Therefore she is preparing now. But in the future it will now be a bit, you know, before we will prepare our group for Jason specialist. Therefore. Thank you. You can sleep and watch. And now we'll see like she is really nervous because she was done especially for Jamaica. Come to bed. But she's doing very well. She was n also in other temples, Hindu temples. And I think it's very nice way for her also to develop her Krishna consciousness. Thank you very much for everyone for such a nice family of Krishna devotees. And I hope that Krishna will bless everyone. Thank you. It.
Facebook.
It. It's. It's.
So in just a few moments we're going to have to shut. But let's give another enthusiastic round of applause for Radha. Have your patience for a few moments more. We're going to be serving Prashada very soon. So in the meantime we'll have a little care time.
