A recorded spiritual discourse by Jayapataka Swami (April 18, 2003) given at a Ratha Yātrā event in Atlanta. The talk recounts pastimes of Lord Chaitanya, Nityananda, and devotees such as Raghunath Das, Ramananda Rai and others; emphasizes guru-disciple relationships, the inward vs outward signs of renunciation, the importance of kirtan and devotion, and appreciation for householders serving Krishna. The recording mixes storytelling, scriptural interpretation, practical guidance for preaching, and interactive moments with attendees.
Sam. Ram. Ram. Ram. Ram. Ram. Ram it. Sam. Ra. Ram Ra. It's Ram. Ram. Sam. It's. It's Ram. Jam. Ram. Ram it. Sam. It's Sam it. Jam it.
Thus, Lord Gorachandra performed various pastimes of his associates of Jagannath Puri. His variety is the transcendental position. Although such Aitanya Mahabhu felt pains of separation from Ka, he did not manifest his feelings externally for he feared the unhappiness of his devotees. The transformation undergone by the Lord when he manifested severe unhappiness due to the separation of Ka cannot be described. When the Lord acutely felt pains of separation, only Sri Ramanda Rai's talk about Ka and the sweet songs of Salut Ramada kept him alive.
Sa.
Because the Lord associated with various devotees during the day, his mind was somewhat diverted. But in fact the pangs of separation from Ka increased very rapidly. Sam, two people, Ramanandarai and Salut Dharmada Gosari stayed with the Lord who paciflady by reciting various verses about Krishna's pastimes and by singing appropriate songs for his satisfaction. Previously, when Lord Krishna was personally present, Subala, one of his comrade boyfriends, gave happiness when he felt separation from Adharati. Similarly, Ramanamdarani helped give happiness to Lord. R. Caitanya Mahal Prabra, Prague previously, when Srimati Radharuani felt the pains of separation from Kaanshi, companion Lalitha kept her alive by helping her in various ways. Similarly, Loshi Chaitanya Maha Bha moved on Radharani's emotions. Sarub Dharmadhan Goswami helped him maintain his life. To describe the fortunate position of Ramananda Rai and Salut Dharmada Goswar is extremely difficult. They will be known as intimately confidential friends of Sri Chavya Mahaprabhu. The Lord does enjoy his life with his devotees.
All devotees of the Lord.
Now hear how Raghunathas Goswami met the Lord. How many want to hear the Ramadan? Asked during his family life went to meet Chichetanya Mahaprabhu at Satipur. The Lord gave him worthy instructions by his cause's mercy. Instead of becoming a so called Renuncian, Raghunathas, following the instructions of the Lord returned home and played exactly like the pounds of shillings. Raghunathas was literally completely renounced even in family life. But he did not express his renunciation externally. Instead he acted just like an ordinary businessman. Seeing this, his mother and father were satisfied. See here within the eye, it's quite common. Mother and father so are very happy. When they see their children getting married, having children, working in some business, they're looking all. They're safe, they're not happy. If they see them in the Brahmachary ashram for a long time or taking sannyas, they feel unhappy. So Ravanandas and the Lord, Brother Ram Chaitanya, he looked outwardly like an attached person, did all his duties carefully, but inwardly he was actually always thinking of who. Yes, you guessed it. This is the opposite. Some people outwardly looking like devotees, but literally only thinking about Sanskritification is that good? Or someone outwardly looking even like a businessman. Or inwardly always thinking about Ka. The secret is what's going on inside. In order to preach in some of the communist or the Muslim countries.
Sometimes.
It'S necessary to wear so called carving clothes or civilian drags to go.
To.
Avoid the negative reaction from the immigration officials who put restrictions on people coming and preaching. But sometimes they go here, some of them go here. But they're always looking for some way to criticize Islam. So the recent criticism I heard is they say, do you see those sannyasis? Sometime when I'm turning close, Anybody who puts on karmic pose can never be a sannyasi. Therefore their sannyasis are not bona fide. They are not boniflight gurus. Why is one of them so? But here we can see that. Then start the criteria. Especially if somebody has to find it very uncomfortable wearing karmic clothes with so much room, like emotional clothes is tight. But in order to fulfill the desire of the Lord, sometimes you may have to do anything. What's important is what the inward consciousness is. One is wearing karmic clothes to enter into places where normally devotees cannot go. In order to give ka consciousness to people who could otherwise not get it. Prabhupada said, you get thousand times more benefit by reaching in dangerous places. So that's Prabhupada's vision. He never discouraged his devotees. And they were distributing books like Bhakti Cheta used to be known as, what was his previous name? Yadasha. He used to go in the Muslim country, I mean a communist country, during the library party, wasn't it? And one point in ten Baba was so pleased, he never thought, oh, if you cannot wear devotional clothes, then don't give the books to those communists. Let them be deprived. It's more important. We always wear devotional clothes, right? So what is additional Prabhupada? And what is the vision of Chaitanya Mahavrabhu? And what is the vision of some other people you can find out but easily. When I hear these things, I just think how childish. How fortunate we are to be under the shadows of God. We did this whole thing with the tax collector. Finally after everything was said and done, he just wanted to go to see lunch attendant. After one year of doing all this business and everything. He got up alone one night and ran off. And his father come from a distant place and brought him back. This became almost a daily affair. Bhagunadas would run away from home and his father would again bring him back. Then Raghunath Das's mother began speaking to his father. Our son has become mad, she said. Just keep him by binding him with ropes. His father being very unhappy replied to her. As some has opulence like Indra they have heavenly king. And his wife is as beautiful as an angel. Yet all this could not tie down his mind. How then do we keep this boy home by binding him in robes? It is not possible even for one's father to nullify the reactions of one's past karmas. Lord Sri Chitanya Mahaprabhu has fully bestowed his mercy on him. Who can keep home such a madman of Chaitanya Chandra. So Krishna Dasamudasana. Lord Chaitanya's mercy was on Raghunath and he became mad after Lord Chaitanya. So his father and mother could realize. It's very difficult to type down. Impossible. How to tie down actually is what household life is meant for. Tie people down. It's actually good to some extent circumstances. Otherwise men and women, they be like rabbits or sparrows or something. Running around with the senses totally scattered everywhere. But if they can fix their mind, husband on wife, wife on husband be attached. And gradually after being attached can fix the bad relationship, become detached and get more and more attached to Ka. Then they can avoid so much sinful activity. So many disturbances. That's why Bhabhu once said that this lesson. Man should see every woman has his mother except his wife. You can have intimate relationship with his wife. But other women he should respect my brother. And when Lord Chaitanya's devotees asked Lord Chaitanya what should we do? Lord Chaitanya told him what Kirtaniya Sadh always do kirtan. I see. We need to do kirtan for long periods of time regularly. But by we're not only not getting the opportunity but by the kind arrangement of Gordian times. Dear servitor Balabhatra Balacharia Das Adhikari. He makes arrangement for us to Have a little kirtan. And today we'll have hours of kirtan during the rath. Yajva, be nice. If there's a man's kirtan as well as Maraji's kirtan. Anybody can get fully in kirtans. Different kirtans. In any case, this is a normal situation. One is supposed to. To whatever extent you can't keep your mind at wishtah. If someone is attached to the opposite sex association then they'll be married and be attached in that way. Unfortunately people don't even get attached nowadays. Very secluded. I don't want. I don't know. I can't stay with him. I can't stay with her. There's no fun in this area. And then Sajida proverb he said. What is the question of renouncing if you weren't happy to begin with? Raghu Mahatas is really renunciative. He's really got it made. His wife is completely submissive. Beautiful. His cat, millions and millions of dollars. He's got gold coins. Literally he can anything he wants. It's like a little prince. He's got his charismatic, he's handsome. Anything he wants, he's got at his fingertips. He'd care less. He simply was bad after Chaitanya Mahabharata. So he's really renounced.
That.
We cannot compare. And even he was told by Lord Chaitanya, don't suddenly change your Ashram. He tried for one year to do everything. He couldn't stay away from Lord Chaitanya. He could go every time he ran away. His father would catch him, bring him back. Deprogram, Tried to deprogram. Nothing worked. They gave him everything. Still he wasn't interested. So the father is very unhappy. We're trying our best to deprogram him. But we can't do it. He's become mad after Rajshitani. What to do? He cannot escape our Panda. So many was not having a heavy family life. And if it is for them to really take shelter of Lord Chaitanya wouldn't be so bad.
Right?
Anything that makes a Lord Chaitanya through. But it doesn't work that way. If you don't really have attachment for Lord Chaitanya and the material side doesn't work. Then they think the grass is meaner over there. They can try another material relationship and another one. Another. What we really need to try is how to become a madman after Mochitan. That's really what we need. That's why we need it. So Raghunatha Said he was thinking how we get to Roshatanga. That should really be what we want of Tibetan. And unfortunate enough they both husband and wife are Ka devotees and they help each other to think about Ka. Well, it is telling you that it's a very sane position. In Raghavanathas he has a different calling. There are many householders like Shivas, like Malini. They stay together their whole life. There are many householders who remain helping each other throughout their lives. So don't get upset when we talk about Varuna Das leaving his family. This is what we are promoting. It's a hopeless case. He was homeless for family. He became mad. He's simply thinking about Lord's eternal. So because he had this calling, he was going to be the private sector charity of Shiv Namuda. Very important he was going to be. They won. He told Krishna Das Kavir. So many intimate pastimes and words to tell you because he was right there. Which I gathered very well and heard them from Sarub Ramana. We can understand what Ramana does and Surah Namudi were talking about all the time. What did Lord Chaitanya do? How did this happen? How did that happen? So they knew everything. In Ka Consciousness there's so many wonderful things that happen. So many devotees are making astonishing sacrifices for spreading the Ka Consciousness open. So many devotees have wonderful qualities and people need to know that. We need to appreciate that. We need to appreciate even the simple sacrifices and devotees are doing. When I see the householders.
In different.
Parts of the world taking the responsibility to bring their children up in Ka Consciousness to maintain their families at the same time to do their daily Pujas and their Japa mother and to do the Namha preachings in the evenings when they get time free and house programs. One really feels grateful how responsible these house Krishna conscious householders are and how everyone who was a householder, who was very responsible Krishna conscious householder to spread this movement. This movement could really be spreading so much faster. And those who are doing it, how much they deserve appreciation and praise for their responsible activity. So here Raghunatha he decided that he wanted to go to see Lord Nityananda. In the village of Parihati, Raghudar Das obtained an interview with Nidarang. It was accompanied by many kindergarten performers, servants and others. Sitting on a rock under a tree on the bank of the holy river Ganges. Lord Nidana does seem as a fulgent as hundreds and thousands and millions of rising suns. Just see the beautiful vision of what Vichenanda is sitting on a Grace platform made of rocks at the side of the Ganges. Under this large banding tree surrounded by many devotees who are checking Kirtan Hare Krishna. Hare Krishna. Radio color. You cannot with somebody who said white any other color Reddish gold. Yet he's golden in color with a gold little reddish tint. We have yellow gold with a little reddish gold. So Goranga is yellow, is gold omens and Vijayana's little reddish tones. So both of them grow up. But Gora's a light gold. And bitchinamis were deep gold. Now listen, you also from here you see this amazing. Devotees are all sitting around Nithyananda. And when Ramana God saw the influence of Nityananda, Jesus is Thomas Raghunath offered his obeisances by falling prostrate at a distant place. And the servant of Nitya Ananda Prabhu pointed out that is Raghunathas offering you his obeisance. Hearing this, you are a thief. You are a thief. Now you have come to see me. Come here. Come here. Today I shall punish you. This reminds me, I met one devotee noodle body. But noodle body for five years never took shelter of, I think spiritual master. I just was curious because I missed my nature a little bit. I always like to learn about the situation of our beloved devotees. And so I asked, what is it.
That.
Made you not ever take shelter of any guru? Because it's quite unusual people do. He said, well, well. I was told that the guru is there simply to chastise. And I've already been chastised so much from my mother, father, teachers. What do I need more chastisement for? So I didn't take any songs out of the way. But here we can see Nityananda as they come here, I'm going to punish. Who wants to come forward and be punished? Come to the guru who's going to punish you? I think I'll also. Because we have a material conception of what punishment is. Because that's the difference between material life and spiritual life. And let's go deep a little bit into the insight. We know that in the material world the comparison is made that Maya is like a cat with a mouse in the mouth. Now, when a mouse is in the mouth of the cat, is that very good position for the mouse? What do you think, Pamela? No. Would you like to be a mouse in a cat's mouth? But what about the kitten? The little baby kitten is also picked up by the mouth of the cat. Now how is that? Is that bad?
What do you think?
What's your Name? Hindab. What do you think? The kitten is picked up by the mouth of the mother cat. Is that okay? So which would you rather be in the mouth of the cat? The kitten or the mouse? Vrindavan. What's your choice? Amala, how many would like to be the mouse? How am I like to be the kitten? Okay, we're the kitchen group here. So that's the situation. We know that punishment because we've been in the material world and we've been punished and punished and punished by Maya. Which is like being the mouth in the mouth of a cat. But we don't know what it's like to be punished as a kitten in the mouth of the cat. But we are thinking it's punishment because although we know that cats mount has got teeth which are sharp. But you see the cat pick up the kitten, does it very gently moves the kitten from here to there. Because the cat loves the kid who sometimes Maya is called a stepmother. Because sometimes stepmothers don't give as much love to their children as the real mothers. Unfortunately sometimes they do. It's not always, but sometimes they don't. Those who are not so spiritual.
So.
The Lord looked at others, they come here. We should know that his punishment is like the cat picking up the kitten. His punishment means a blessing. His punishment means. His so called punishment means protection. His so called punishment means unlimited mercy. We should be eager to be told unto punished by the Guru and Krishna rather than be showered with some kinds.
Of.
Rewards of Maya.
Everyone.
Maya's punishment is sometimes even good and brings us to Krishna. But the rewards and the worship. It makes us think that oh material life is very nice if we're not Krishna conscious. So the Lord will say come here, come here. I'm going to punish you. So then people feel like that oh I'm a guru. That means he's going to discipline me. He's going to tell me what to do, what not to do. Better not to take. But we should learn from this pastor and how by giving the mercy of Nithyananda who is the Adi Guru, the original Guru. How Raghu Mahdas achieved everything that he wanted. He achieved more than he ever expected. We take shelter of Oneityananda Prabhu and his representative. We can get the mercy that we otherwise would never be able to conceive of or think about or even dream of giving. The Lord called him and Bhag Das did not go near the Lord. Then the Lord forcibly caught him.
And.
Placed his lotus feet upon Raghunathas head. Lord it's another so merciful. Even someone doesn't come forward to get the mercy. He still goes and grants him. This is mercy. We can remember this pastime of prayer Lord in Chandra Prabhu. Even though we are so small fallen, we're so shy, we're so timid. We're so concentrate. We're not coming forward to get his mercy. That he can be merciful like he did with Rabban Das and come forward and forcibly grab us and make us surrender at his Lord esteem. He cannot rule me. When will Lord Nityananda put his Lord esteem on our heads? How many would like to have the ties of the seat on their head? Was by nature very merciful. Funny. Being merciful, he spoke to Raghuna and asked as follows. Don't be rude to Mahu. You are just like a thief. But instead of coming here, you stay away at a distant place. Now that I have captured you, I shall punish you. So this is Lord Chichanya's drama. He's creating this drama. You're like a thief. I caught you. Now I'm going to punish you. Imagine this grab. They're going to punish you. Unpunishment. What could be that? How many lashes tied to the stake burned over hot coals? What would be the horrible punishment? Aren't you frightened?
Please.
Every punishment blood is not frightened. This was the punishment. Make a festival and feed all my associates yogurt and chilled rice. Hearing this, Radhuna Das was greatly pleased. Becoming pleased with punishment. This is the nature, the mercy of Lord Nichenander. Even when it's punished by Lord Nichananda inside, he feels pleased. One time, Srirada sand was God arranging Persona. The time everybody was hugging, Nityananda kicked him in the stomach. Then the son became angry, critical of Nityananda. And Sivananda said he was chastised. And I got the greatest mercy. Got kicked by the loyal support of Lord Nithyanandgarh. I never felt happier in my life. So that was a different kind of punishment. Sometimes we just face our space. We need a kick. We really need a kick. When we get kicked, sometimes we are not able to take it because of false ego. So dealing with Nityananda Prabhu, one has to be very sensitive and very humble. Raghunathas could immediately understand that Vijayananda Buddha's got a tremendous sense of humor. He was saying all this was like a joke, like a hummer. But each was filled with deep philosophical significance. Significance. Maybe most of the people just thought he was joking. I'M going to punish you. Come here. Offer your punishment. Give Shiradva. What was the meaning? Why punishment? Why? Actually nothing is accidental in him. And even Lord Nanda, when he punished Sivananda sinner, he was showing how great Sivananda sinner was. How much love he had for Lord. So Raghunar Dash became happy and he arranged and so many sent his servants. And they brought all kinds of edibles. Fried rice, yogurt, milk, mangoes, bananas. When I was in Alachua, they did a reference to me. What are all the fruits that were available in those tanks? They included coconut, papa dates, grapes, jackfruit, lichu, mango, varieties of bananas, pomegranate. Did they find papaya with this tangerines and tal fruit? We're waiting for Talago fire project Jabing as some palm fruit. The talabor means a forest of tall fruit. You know anybody ever had tall fruit in their life? One person, Sarah, said we had tall fruit. Not the ones in South America you may have. That's not the fruit. In South America they use the center of the palm tree. That's not the fruit of the palm tree. Tall fruit you must have had.
Yes.
All the Bengali boys have talismans. You don't know what you're missing. There should be a heaven for actually vegetable town fruit. When it's kushy, very unripe.
Very.
When it's ripe, it becomes a seed. And when it's unripe, the tall fruit seed is especially edible. In its flank is some kind of ready, cool, translucent white jello type of thing. What do you call that? The vegetarian jello? Something like that. So.
Like clear, grayish.
It's a juice and the center is liquid. If you bite into it and we're gym right now, especially because it's too big, they take in one bite. So usually when you bite it, if you don't hold it properly, it's spill all over. It's famous for spilling it. You have to eat it at an angle. You get a milli at the right point. It's very soft. And if you get them a little bit overripe, then it becomes harder and then it starts to change color like that. A little bit, a little grayish. Anyway, there's so many fruits. They had them here. We also have many fruits that we try to offer all the fruits. Rabbi Nadas offered all the fruits that he could get, all the milk, yogurt, sweetmeats, sugar, everything to Lord Nityananda for his pleasure. He's been trying to get all the different fruits Mahaguna was looking for cherries and she couldn't get it. Anybody finds cherries. I don't know if she found it. As soon as they heard that a feast festival was going to be held all kinds of Brahmanas and other gentlemen began to arrive. Thus there were no rural people. Yes, I heard even in Los Angeles, where my disciples are doing the service of cooking for the deities. And what it was my disciples wanted to offer Vyasa puja to me as their guru. They organized a sumptuous feast wherever they. At that time many people came. Even the advocates of the so called the Bogas Rittic speculation. They didn't have any Chinese to take prasad. So Brahminas, they like prasada. They show us their true Brahmins and prasad is prasad. So when I was offered on the trip of this island. So that way when there's a feast, everybody comes. Especially Ramadas and gentlemen, Vaishnavas and that way this was a super feast. This was the biggest feast possible. And so many innumerable people they came. So they couldn't count them. Asamkyakanan unlimited people innumerable Satadui, Chari, Voluntara, Nailam. So the government describes all the arrangements. How they soaked the big pots, how they ruptured dryers with hot milk, with yogurt and natural sugar. In those days they didn't have refined sugar. They had natural brownish sugar made from gourd. So we use that same kind of sugar. We ordered special ones from Louisiana and other places. The natural sugars, what they call that here? Sugarnade. And so such things, these little brand names called this aiwem because you want to follow the tradition here. Then they put also, you see, condensed milk and bananas known as chapacola. And sugar, clarified butter, purified butter means ghee, ghee, camphor and so many nice ingredients. And so many devotees were there. And everyone was getting a pot to each episode was offered. So as the festival, the word came around. All kinds of learned scholars, Brahmanas and priests went there. Lord Nityananda Prabhu honored them and made them sit on the raised platform with him. It's also so interesting. Everybody here was received by Nityananda. Lord Nityananda is the guru, is Acharya, his incarnation of Balaram. Come as a devotee. What is he doing? He's honoring everyone who comes. Therefore, we want to take this opportunity on behalf of Lord Nityananda Prabhu and Chai Chandra Mahaprabhu to honor all of you who are Present here and will come tomorrow. Swagatam. Welcome. Be honored. We are happy for your presence. We are blessed by your presence. Let's see if we could put all of you on the raised platform. We do so. Everybody was given two earthly paths. Since he has to eat two earth pots. Actually we're putting two in one. You get one small one and then you participate in the donation auction and get another one. Help support the festival. One chit rise and snap and the other chit rise.
With.
All people sitting around the platform, nobody could count how many people were there. Everyone was talking about Krishna. People are coming here getting an association. Yesterday many people that were there for my welcome speech. They said they're coming to get association. Please talk about Krishna. Talk about and chain Hare Krishna. Everybody was getting a pot. Cheap rice, smoking yogurt, salt to condensed milk. So some of the Brahmins couldn't get a place. So they went to the bank of the Ganges and were living in the bank of the Ganges. Others couldn't get a place even the bank of the Ganges. They went down into the water and began eating there. Shivdrais standing waist deep in the water. The whole place was so packed up with people that there was no room for anyone. And then earth went into the water. Somewhere on the platform. Somewhere in the bay. Somewhere on the bank of the Ganges.
Somewhere.
Also we can understand why this relaxed one he said to thee also in the water is because Nithyananda is right on the vein on the end entry. Very close to the edge. So you're very close to Nityananda. You get a good dash of nectar nose. They would rather stand waist deep in water and be within by sight of Nityananda than far away. But there were so many people. They've had to go very far to find another place. It's better to be in the water. When Prabhupada was here at Rupanihati, devotees always wanted like to be close to him. Of course. But then it's a natural rotation. You come up close and someone comes in front of you. Devotees are jumping higher in the air. We are very grateful for everyone who is jumping here in the kirtan. I'm not able to jump so much anymore. Not really high at least, but.
Due.
To too many ballasts. But it's very nice if everybody sings and dances for the Lord. For Srila Prabhupada. Especially Prabhupada. He liked great news to know wave his hand. He play on the gong sometime make it Go faster. I wanted to see everyone chant and dance. So this past night we discussed it with Elisha. What does this mean? What is the punishment all about? What does this mean? And that punishment is actually that Raghunathas tried to go to Vajitanya. It seems that the words of many things you can imagine here Raghunathas is there in Bengal. All these things. How to run away to Lord Chaitanya. He could have been associating with each and every. He was staying away. Sometimes we want to be with one devotee. But there may be so many other devotees we can associate with. Also entertain sometimes association. How Ka gives it. Raghunathas he was guided in his heart. Finally tried again and again to get away. But if he would have got the blessing of these again to Lord Chaitanya. When we say that, what's that song in time for the Kamala Sushi Torah. If we don't get the mercy of Nityananda, then we are very unfortunate. It requires essential to get the most devoted to can just say I am a devoted Lord Chaitanya. But I don't accept Netananda Vritamanda taught us that such people are very offensive. Very offensive. We should give the mercy of Lord Chaitanya. Through the mercy of Lord Nathana. He's even more merciful. It's easier decide. We go Radha, we go to Krishna. From Nithai we go to Gora. So that way how we get to Krishna is through that Guru. How we got to Lord Chaitanya to Nithai. So Raghavanda was trying to reach Lord Chaitanya without going to Nithyananda. He's facing troubles. We try to reach Ka without going to the guru. We face problems. So Ka makes our way easy to him. Sends us Diksha Guru, Sikhsha Guru to guide us to help us. First we are guided by Mahatma Pradarshan guru. Some spiritual masters who show us the way. They may not be officially registered as a Diksha guru or Siksha guru. But they are actually all Vaishnavas are a kind of guru. Because they guide us and represent Ka to us. Then there may be actual someone who is following very strictly and has a Soren son accurate understanding about the scripture. They can be a guru, official, recognized, card carrying guru, whatever. That doesn't mean that once somebody gets the blessing that they can or gets the opportunity to act as a guru that they can do anything they want. It doesn't mean just because somebody is a guru that he's the next Acharya. And that he can change everything that Prabhupada gave us. The first qualification of a guru is to be a disciple. That's the main qualification. Someone who is a proper disciple can also become a proper guru. The people don't understand this. Devotees don't understand that it's very difficult. We have to first become qualified as a disciple. Then we can become qualified as a spiritual master. So after getting so much help from different Vartama Pradasha gurus who show us the way, then one may get association from the very senior devotee who guides us. Maybe several such devotees, however many it may be. Then we decide to surrender to Ka consciousness for our whole life. We take the shelter of one of those gurus and then we practice what it's like to have a formal commitment with a guru. Sometimes we may have a six year ludo that we're committed to but we're not getting the six to take initiation. We follow his instructions even though we're not yet ready for our initiation. Then we get initiated. Brother Diksha Guru connects us through the Sampradaya. He guides us. He also acts as a Sikhsha guru. There may be other Sikhsha gurus also. Because one can only have one Diksha Guru Bhagwa may have more than one Sikh. And accepting a Sikhsha guru means we accept the Sikhs guru in an absolute way that the Sikhsha gurus representing Ka we have to follow their instructions and their teachings. And we also are sheltered by those instructions of the Siksha Guru. In this way Krishna provides us infrastructure to get us back to. But if we don't change that, then we are very unfortunate. Raghunathasi was somehow trying to go Krishna bypassing Kyananda. If we try to go to Krishna bypassing the Guru Parampara, we face also difficulty. So Radunathas is so fortunate that Nitinand is not going to punish you. Come. Come here. Do this service. Actually he simply gave him devotional service. Because there's no other way we can make special about serve Krishna to the Guru and his instruction. Whatever he likes to call it. Whether it's mercy or whether it's chastisement. But we need to do that disservice and help the devotee of the Lord or many devotees of the Lord. Many devotees may need help. The more we become Dasa no Das certain of the devotee of Krishna, the more blessed they become. I was experiencing this year during the festival that it was so nice to serve him only by Shavas. The more service I could do for the devotees, the More blissful. It became a very special mercy to be able to serve the devotees of the. Because Krishna is so much more pleased when his devotee was pleased. Because Ramana Das was given the opportunity to serve the incarnation of the. What's it called? The expansion of devotee. Therefore he could go to Lord Chaitanya. So we'll hear more about all these past times tomorrow. How about Vichenanda and how Lord Chaitanya were manifesting these pastimes. We can understand that this is a very sublime location. Actually this past time so many pastimes happen in Bami Knife and distant conclusion that the biggest time of the Krishna. In our conclusion we should know that Lord Chaitanya told that he's always present in Vnth. When Vanda first came back to Bengal on the order of Lord Chaitanya.
Then.
He arrived in Panihatidam and there Raghava Panda was so happy. He said please take your bath. And again Ji's come and take prasadam or Yan's prasadam and everything. And after taking prasadam, after bathing Morgan tonight started Kirta and kirtan went on and on and on. Didn't stop Baba. Lord Nityananda looked at they became ecstatic. They became filled with the love of Krishna. So just by his glancing, it was.
Like.
Spiritual machine gun mowing everybody down. As soon as he started rolling on the ground. Rolling in the ground. You want to get the dust from other devotees feet. You feel so much affection for the devotees. So then you just want to get the dust on your body. Have you ever rolled on the ground to get the dust? Sometimes you don't know what to do. You're jumping and this guy can't jump any higher. You don't do this going out of your skin. Sometimes the world will start rolling. I don't know what else to do. Sometimes another breaker. When you go to a place so we know that other associates had roles, we take the opportunity. The worries are so wonderful. The worries are so blessed as they're serving Krishna that's so dear to Krishna. It's worth our sacrificing our life to protect and devotee that are so sacred and so dear. What to speak of. How is it possible that when devotees are so near to the Lord and so dear to us, how can we criticize the love of devotees? Avoid any unconstructed criticism of devotees. So that devotees and go on there.
See.
They should be appreciating how wonderful it is to have so much association with devotees. To be with devotees. Because an association of devotees is easy to talk about. Ka haven't ever had to go and visit some relatives who were non devotees and found difficulty because all they wanted to talk about was people's kidney transplants. All kinds of things of the mundane world. How nice to have association with devotees.
That we can talk about God.
So we thank all of you again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again.
For being here.
For giving us your association so that we can talk about Krishna. Hear about Krishna from who during this festival tomorrow morning of course, after the I think Bala Bhatta will give us a little clue about the programs. But I know that there's an opportunity to hear from all the devotees as well as Mandarin Lilasvarna Prabhupada where also devotees can just simply express their happiness appreciation of Dharma. In fact, if this comes to mind, might even be nice to have one of the last functions of the whole festival at hangar sharing of realizations about the festival. What were the highlights? What were the things that people gained from the festival at the end? So be nice to have issue that's quite successful. It's a nice realization. But this is what starting to realize more and more that how we take it for granted. We take these devotees for granted. Sometimes as I have to travel and I get stranded in some airport. One time I was stranded in Jordan. Hours and hours and hours. It's not to name a place you want to be. You preach is what I remember when I was flying to India. I was in Cairo. Couldn't even find a piece of fruit in the airport. How wonderful it is to have devotees Prabhupada. At one point he said that promise me that you will never leave me alone. I always want to have association with the devotees. I was alone in the beginning for so many months. Now never leave me alone again. So please everyone fulfill Prabhupada's desires. Don't leave him alone. Don't leave him. He said to me. The Prabhupada can say that and he can believe me.
I.
Please always give me association because I need it. I've never to be transmone can be expressed. Thank you very much. Oh, I didn't finish the testimony Nithyananda. He was chanting and chanting and chanting. And it said that so many people were coming. It was like waves in the ocean. It was the sound vibration was going on. The kirtan was going on day and night and day and night keeping on going. That'd be nice Maybe to have somewhere we have a non stop kirtan too. Or do a NAM necket, 20 Prada. We all take turns. This one you can have women booths to come and take the half hour turn at least. If not 24 hours, you can do 12 hours half day or 6 hours or something. But I have no more trains. But at this kirtan, a bourgentie that went on and on and on for three months non stop. We're trying to compress three months into three days. The first day hardly anybody comes. So we need to really now only two days left. We have to really array mission bad hatings. Any question? Short question. Hamilton. All right, I'm giving.
Yes.
If someone is aspiring for initiation, does it really matter who becomes initiated by question of take question and take inspiration. Krishna may inspire just like there are so many bona fide gurus in Heim of Otanya. But different devotees took from different gurus. Sometimes we discussed in recently how some disciple, two brothers were there. They didn't know who to take from Naratam or Ramchandra Kaviraj. They loved both of them. They were inspired by both. Then they did a crisscross. One took initiation from Ramchandra Kaviraj, the other from Marottam Das Takwa. Then they also crisscrossed and accept the other ones as Sikshadur. And they serve both of them so perfect that nobody could tell who was initiated by who. That even as someone may have somehow another by will of providence got initiated by one bona fide guru. And when they may have faith also in another within the Ka Conscious movement within iskcon. Of course there should be some cohesion there. Otherwise is helpful. Then I also have another sixth guru that's there in our philosophy. One big she guru and the 96 shadows. Even the older godbrothers need the help. The younger godbrothers, older, the younger God sisters. Prabhupada said that's also a kind of Siksha Guru. Robert said at one point that his Diksha guru wanted to be siege to act as Siksha guru for his disciples. But somehow that has come. The Siksha guru has not been very well understood. I think I've been thinking about this for a couple of months and seeing that there are many applications so that he'll be benefited. We have not only this come. We have Diksha Guru, we have Siksha Guru, we have Vatma Parashad Guru, we have Sadhus and Vaishnavas, Hareguru, Vaishnava Bhagavatam, Gita. We have Prabhupada's books, the Bhagavatagita and we have a homeless area who is our Sikhsha Guru guiding us through his teachings. So the more that we can take advantage of these manifestations of Ka through the various gurus, the Diksha and Shiksha Guru Prabhupada said that's how we can achieve all success in our spiritual life. But it's a question of thing at the time we take initiation, usually we choose the guru that's inspiring us most. Later on he took initiation from Acharyu Nanda Acharya who was a great Vaishnava. But then obviously he was also inspired when he was sent to Jagannath Puri and working under Surup Namuda. And so Surab Namuda became his Siksha guru. It's also quite natural, isn't it? Hare Krishna counseling of our sponsor. And so subdau became the 6. It's also quite natural, isn't it? Nonce from our sponsor.
Sa it Sam sa Ram la it's it Sa Sam it Sam Sa sa ham it.
