A recorded lecture by Jaya Pataka Swami (from the Jayapataka Swami archives) reflecting on Vedic teachings about the misuse of human life (sleep, sex, labor) and presenting practical programs for spiritual upliftment. The speaker uses Srila Prabhupada anecdotes (visits to Chakdaha/Palpara), outreach practices (chanting on commuter trains, prasadam distribution, Rathayatra), and a detailed account of casting a Nityananda murti to illustrate community-building and devotional practices.

It's Ram. Ram it. Ram. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's. It's Sam and down Am Jamarandama this is a text for you today. Divacham Sex indulgence Also Duration of life economics Family members Family members maintaining Va Hira Translation by His Divine the lifetime of such an envious household is passed at night either in sleeping or in sex reductions, and in the daytime either in making money or maintaining family members. Report by Srila Prabhupada the present human civilization is primarily based on the principles of slavery, sleeping and sex indulgence at night and earning money in the day and spending the same for family maintenance. Such a form of human civilization is condemned by the Bhaktavata school because human life is a combination of matter and spirit soul. The whole process of Vedic knowledge is directed at liberating the spirit soul from the contamination of matter. The knowledge concerning this is called atma tatma. Those men who are too materialistic are unaware of this knowledge and are more inclined to economic development for material enjoyment. Such materialistic men are called karmis or fruitive laborers. They are allowed regulated economic development or association of women for sex indulgence. Those who are above the karmis, that is The Ganesh yogis and devotees, are strictly prohibited from sex indulgence. The karmis are more or less devoid of atma tattva knowledge and as such their life is spent without spiritual profit. The human life is not meant for hard labor for economic development, nor is it meant for sex indulgence like that of the dogs and hogs. It is specially meant for making a solution to the problems of material life life and the miseries thereof. So the economies waste their valuable human life by sleeping and sex indulgence at night and by laboring hard in the daytime to accumulate wealth. And after doing this they try to improve the standard of materialistic life. The materialistic way of life is described herein in a nutshell and how foolishly men waste the boon of human life is described as follows. Thus ends the Srimad Bhagavatam second Canto first chapter fourth verse Translation Purport Translation Repetition is the lifetime of such an envious household is passed at night either in sleeping or in sex indulgence, and in the daytime, and in the daytime either in making money or maintaining family members. So I was present with Srila Prabhupada for an interesting program. Once in a little, I don't know, a big village or small town I don't know Chakdaha Itsan. Those who've driven between Mayapur and Calcutta know the place where Prabhupada used to take a picnic. The mango grove. Famous mango grove. That mango grove is in the police station area of Chakta. Off of the road where there's the intersection. Krishna Balaram Ki Jai Govanath Govard Hari Ki. So that there's a railway station in Chakhtaha. And there's a little. There's a town and a market. Market. And we have a Nauhajjra there. It's quite active. There's a temple there of one of Lord Chaitanya's associates. Jagadish. That's Jagadesh. He was famous because he somehow brought a Jagannath from Jagannathura. So the Jagannath did he say? I have a special stick. You hit people with a stick and get love of Godhead. It's the kind of healing we want. So nearby there, there was a place called Palpara about maybe 10, 15 km. 10 12. 8 km. 8-12 km. Next railway station. And there was Mahesh Pandit. Sripad Jaganeesh Pandit and Mahesh Pandit. They're like two friends. Prabhupada went one night to Chakdha, right next to the railway station. They built a big camp. And that night he was lecturing. He quoted that first verse of the fifth canto, fifth chapter. Where the. I think it's fifth chapter or was it first chapter? Rishabh Day's teachings where he says don't waste your lives in happiness. That even the animals who eat stool enjoy the rather go for the unlimited happiness. So according to that verse then he gave a little overview of their life because he had already scoped out the situation. They were an hour and a half from Calcutta by train. And most of the people there were daily commuters into Calcutta. So he said, you know, some people get up in the morning, take a quick cup of coffee or tea, biscuit, run to that train station station gets your train. You sit on the train for an hour and a half. Then you reach the Sheldar railway station in Calcutta. This is like I don't know how many 8, 10 million people go through that station every day. It's just between that and how are the two. Just some of the busy stations in the world. And it's not very artistically designed or anything. Nothing I'm going to remember. So then from there you have to get to your office place. Usually all the buses are Too full. So you walk an hour to get to your office or you cram into a bus, tram or something. So it takes you about two and a half hours to get to your office. Since the British time Calcutta offices start at 10 o' clock in the morning because it takes so long to get there. Then you work for a couple hours, you have a tea break, then you go back to 15 minutes, 10 minutes and you go back to work again. And then you have a half hour lunch break. That's, you know, somehow you cram something down your throat for a half hour and then, then you go back to work again and then again to work a couple more hours and then you have another tea break and then you work again 24 hours and then it's time to again travel one hour back to the train station, then hop on your commuter train for another hour and a half back to Cakta. So by that time you're already reaching CAGCHA about 7:30, 8 o' clock at night. So then you know, you may sit for take your evening meal. That's the main meal of the day road. This is the whole day. Hardly can see the kids. Talk a little bit with your wife and then you go, maybe now they watch TV or something for 10 minutes, then you go to sleep. Then he said you go to sleep or sometimes you go to sleep and then you have a little sex indulgence and then you go to sleep again. And this is what you're doing every day. And we asked them, is this human line? Well, what is this? Working hard like an ass. Unless you are doing something for your spiritual upliftment, it's not human life, it's just hard labor. Animals are having the same kind of hard labor. So then he suggested a game of practical program. You're sitting in a train for an hour and a half, a half. You could be reading the Bhagavad Gita or you could all be together chanting kirtan for hour and a half. Anyway, you can't get out of this because now you're all tied down with your family, you have so many responsibilities. So he was being very practical and sympathetic with their situation, but he was giving them a practical program chant. While you're in the training, you have the train for three hours a day, hour and a half, coming, going, you can be chanting. And so I gave him this program and it was amazing that since that time there's been one train famous, the Chakraha Kirtan chant. Sometimes you have to preach like this and tell it like it is. You can just lay it out, the cards on the table and everyone lay it all out. This is the facts of life. What are you doing for your spiritual life? There's nothing special about this. If you don't inquire, who are you? Who is Krishna? What is the purpose of life? And you don't inquire into the higher reality, then it's not anything very special at all. Okay. Then Prabhupada went over to Palpara, a Mahesh Pandya's place. And there was upon like a Mahanta, kind of a local guru, head of this temple. And he asked Prabhupada, I want you to take this all to make a discount branch. Anyway, so Prabhupada went there and he wasn't so impressed by this. I won't be interested. But what was more kind of relevant to this verse is that he found that here in this, right in this little. That's much smaller than Shakta. It's like a village. So many people came there. He said, look, you all work hard Monday through Saturday, work Saturdays, half days sometimes some people work first Saturday in the month, you're off the next three. It's either one of those two. So only Sunday is the free day. So he suggested that you're also fortunate. There are beautiful deities of the Heshpam. And he said that this is. You're very fortunate to have this temple here. All of you cooking ads, and you're all spending money for your. For your food. Why don't you all bring those ingredients here, combine it together, you help each and then cook one big feast for the deity using all those ingredients. After till the de, while it's being cooked and offered, then you have a kirta, you have lecture, you have. You have a little worship. And then you all distribute the prasadam and take the ka prasad. So by doing that, you'll spiritualize your existence. Same thing. There's eating the same food, everything. But because you are pray ka, everything has been made Jensen mental. I was very moved, impressed, inspired to see how Prabhupada was going into. He was like an expert doctor. He's giving them some counseling, some consultancy. Exactly how they can spiritualize their example. That was the test. If they actually did it, then he would consider maybe investing some more energy into that place. So it was very inspiring to be with Prabhupada in this little village. For me, it was unforgettable that he took the time to analyze and give them a program that they could apply see he used to do these things to train you. So he's showing how the community doing things together, serving the deities together in different ways and glorifying the Lord together. That is the spiritual fiber that keeps the whole spiritual community together. So wonderful. So singing. Today we have this spiritual community that does so much for helping others. We discussed yesterday the Griya Mahdis who are just envious of others and other devotees. They're preaching, distributing prasadam. They're having Ka conscious restaurants and things and trying to see the people get prasadam distributing books. So they're doing namata. I saw a sign out there, pretend to get Bhakti Riksha preaching in the local shire, activated. That's why Vihasta is different than a green lady. Vihastas are actually thinking how to help others. They're thinking about the welfare. They're not happy just with this kind of food, mundane routine life where the sense gratification is the relief that's supposed to make everything worthwhile but become very boring and monotonous. Sense gratification chewing the chew too well, been there, done that. It's not satisfying to the sun. Whereas devotees, although they may also appear to other by having some spirit of vacation, but they're regulating that and they're giving so much energy for Ka conscious activities, they're reducing their sense gratification or regulating it and giving maximum time for spiritual activities, whatever is possible in their situation and the supporting different forms of preaching. So that's what makes all the difference. They're bodhidhas, they're great benefactors because of that. Because they're working as Namitta Madrain and they're working as the Vayamidya for Krishna's Mahri. They're very dear to Ka. So that's the problem. When he said he wanted to create a society of Brahmanas Vaishnava. Because Brahmana Vaishnava is someone who's concerned about the welfare of the other people. Concerned about how to help make the world a better place. The people in the sense that people go back to God. They meant us a materially better place. But actually but better spiritually that people don't get jammed up in the human form of life. Like some big traffic jam is stuck here. And unfortunately there's propaganda that the perfection of human life is economic developing. That's not the perfection of human. A perfection of human life is to achieve ultimate God realization. Economic development is to give us environment to peacefully pursue our spiritual activities. As everybody can dedicate one night, two nights Sometime every day, every week for preaching. Preaching in different ways, as Prabhupada did with so many as a grihasta. So many grihastas have done in the past all what you've done. I was interested to see bhakti. In his namah he had a standard that every member of the Namhata, most of them laundry houses, had to visit five people's homes every day and they had to carry the flag. They call it the victory flag of the Holy Name. It was the cry of the. And to carry this flag that show that they're going there as missionaries and request five people to take out Ka consciousness every day. There were Jehovah Witnesses or you know, do some things like that. They take a commitment. How many people they're going to visit in a month, in a week, five days. Quite a significant lot. We're trying to. I'm not at all that ambitious. I'm just saying one day a week, two days and we could have a practicing meeting or go out and visit people, do something. I'm thinking that's sustainable right now. But just in case anybody's getting puffed up like ham Takra standard was fine a day. Hello, the flame take up please chant Hare Krishna. So quite dynamic. That's one of the things you're spreading. Of course, nothing like it if somebody can do it. Just saying how we're. The state of affairs we're in. We don't even think about write our contra minimum. But actually I'll be going today on Rathiyatra Day on New Year's Eve, which is quite a materialistic environment. All these are mellow people, melanin speaking. But we'll be also in Sydney. They'll be doing a huge Harry now on what's it called? Bomdai Beach. And we have lots of people there also. We want people to hear the Holy Name and people are in a good mood. It's unbelievable how many people dance with us and pull the chariot and participate. Maybe even in our last month, in fact, there was a whole group of girls and they were asking me, can we also dance? I said, sure, but I wasn't with. I always so qualified to instruct them how to do it. I was looking around and I didn't see another girl that I could kind of direct to them at that moment because all the devotees were dancing with themselves. You know, I was thinking, like, it's good to pull in the other people or go out and dance with the other people to get somehow inspired. They wanted to dance I mean the beat was there, the song was Prabhu Vishnra was chanting beautifully. One girl had just ran in amongst all the men and danced. Things happen. But there was a whole other group that wanted to get into it but they didn't really know what to do. So that's kind of what I saw in a lot of this festival Rusinski. They chant late at night. It's a big musical festival, Volga river. And they get all the young people, they had devotees. That's the whole thing is bring the people in, get them all to dance and then they have the kind of choreographed dancing. Everybody. I was watching some of the girls looking at the Russian devotee girls on the stage, trying to figure it out. I got a stamp of it. I got one girl. What's that move? You know, Looks far out. And one of the Hanu was like dancing, you know, all feeling loosed up, lubricated a little bit. But I remember there's like a pastime, little known pastime where Lord Chaitanya, he was walking in Mauadvi with his associates. And somehow they went by the side of the town. There was some wine, even in Amadev. There was a few drums, a few. And so when they saw one of them, saw what she tell me walking. I look at the gold Hari boy and this one guy goes, you know, he's totally out of it. He goes behind Loy Chintan and he's making a hoodie bowl, hoodie bowl. Dancing something as making some fun behind. And some of the associates, I could just imagine Brahmananda was there. Who do you think you are? Don't mess. But anyway, that was. But Lord Chaitanya was totally, you know, cool about the whole thing. And the guy is dancing behind and chanting Haribola Nikrishna, Hari Ram whatever. Didn't get the mantra to correctly. After a while he went back to other friends. You're going to see a little bit of that tonight probably. Associates say one of the looks at Lord Chaitanya, I mean, asked him, I mean, wasn't that offensive? Is that kind of making fun? Lord Chaitanyama, he's obviously under the influence of alcohol. That'll wear off by tomorrow. But the fact that he chanted Hare Krishna, that will stay with him forever. So that's a good pastime for this. They do sometimes the Hari Nam on the French Quarter before Mardi Gras. That's wild. This is, that is crazy. But here it's very, you know, mellow situation. Krishna's kindness almost. But I always remember that. And some People really get into it. You really get into dancing, getting people to pull the wrath. I mean we know that by pulling Jagannath you get this unlimited mercy. And then I think I remember one lady came running up. Someone told me that she came running and said, thank you so much for having me. If you did. I spent the last two hours singing and dancing. I feel so good. If it wasn't for you, I would just be another drunk on the street. And now I feel like I really did something to bring like auspicious New Year. Happy New Year. Interesting how people appreciate. So you have a whole society. I mean what this verse is describing is kind of that's what people consider to be this is life, this is what you do. But no, there's also that people do think you should be socially conscious, do some social work. That's part of it. Be charitable. So we're trying to let charity begins. The pious charity, the Lord Chaitanu. Describe your spiritual giving people spiritual enlightenment. Because every other charity will have its beginning and end. But this charity actually liberates people from the cycle of birth and death. So what can be a greater charity than that? This is. And to do that you need people that can't care about them. And why should these people have taken advantage? Why should they restore him a form of life? And Prabhupada would see like when he landed in America and Boston and he first view you, he said want to uber our place. These people are so much in ignorance and passion and they're proud of all kind of Indians still. Again they're a little ashamed. You know they're supposed to be in the mother Buddha. But he ended up completely proud about being ignorant and passionate. And then my wife was just. Buddha wasn't in critical or in the sense of despising. It was a compassion. They're burning. This whole world is burning. These people are suffering. How to put out the fire of their materialistic existence. Where people go from, you know, one extreme of simulation temporarily then they go into depression. They say how listen, what was the statistics at any given time at least 20% of people person, some American and some Western statistics here in Australia exosomes it is the highest cost for death amongst 14 to 25 year olds is suicide. 10,000 kids commit suicide every year. I mean that's a lot more than the twin towers, the 2,500 to 600 dying day. Just by giving people a little bit of understanding what life is, we could have a significant same life. So many lives, even from a material, even from A social point of view, total waste of life. And so many people are frustrated, commit suicide all over the world. In India also, they fail a final exam and commit suicide because the parents pushed them so much to study in so many different ways. But the real point is not only just to save their life for another useless life that ultimately ends up another rebirth. We're actually standing there for the whole cycle. So that's why devotees are actually so special. They're doing what Krishna wants. Krishna doesn't want people to stay here forever in this material world that human beings are supposed to get out of the material existence. This is the human birth. It's the final birth. From here we congratulate go back to God in the material existence. There was this interesting story. I probably have all heard of that glorious of the eighth chapter of AHU Agina. Remember that Padma Purana parvatiyas Lord Shiva chapter by chapter to give it worries. Each chapter of the Bhagavad Gita in its own is a work of masterpiece. And each has got tremendous spiritual glories. So she asked about the eighth chapter, and he explained, well, there was the two devotee fellow. We allowed those here, and they had children. So from those two families, one boy and one girl, they got married. They got married. But then, you know, they kept being born in a devotee family. They thought they were missing out on something in the material world. So they wanted to enjoy life. Ever hear the. And they went traveling around the world to see the world and see, you know, they could be enjoying life. So in their world travels, I guess they were kind of like ancient backpackers. Their journey led them to a public road. On the side of it there was a big tamarind tree, Italy brick shop. And they were seated on that. It was a hot day. They took the shelter in the shade of the street and took a little rest. They were talking with each other, husband and wife. And the husband. What they didn't know was that that tree happened to be a hangman's tree. It was the public execution tree. That's where they brought all the murderers and rapists. And whoever people ever was would get capital punishment in those days. They would bring them there and hang them from that tree. So that tree was filled with a lot of spirits of people who died untimely by execution. It had hundreds, if not a thousand or more ghosts in that tree. So they had nothing better to do. They were all like crowding around this couple, listening to what they were saying. The husband is here. I mean, we were born in Devotee families. But then we've kind of just been wasting our life traveling around. And everywhere we go, people, you know, they're all eating and sleeping and meeting and defending and all these things. What I would say, do. I'm really bored, to tell you the truth. I mean, what. I never really studied very much when I was my parents. I kind of think, what is this law of Karma? What is absolute? What is the spirit? Who is the supreme personality of Gandhi? What does this all mean? What is life all about? Wow, I blew it. I never really understood these things when I had the chance. I'm feeling very bored, very useless. And the wife said, well, you know, when I was in Gurukul, when I studied from her what she learns from her parents, I learned a verse from the Bhagavad Gina, eighth chapter. It's exactly. Arjuna is asking exactly the same thing that you are. Really? What's that? Then she said, like almost exploded, fell down, background if anybody was asleep. Because all those ghosts were just like hanging around you. They were all around, you know. All of a sudden, without any expectation, they heard a suka from the Bhagavad Gita. And by just hearing that verse in the Bhagavad Gita, a thousand ghosts at one time, bang. Were all liberated. That was such an impact on the tree. So many atmas being liberated. One of the tree crashed down. All those ghosts achieved their Siddharth Harups, their Satchilananda forms, eternal, blissful, filled with Vala's transcendental forms. And then from the sky came a Vishnu Dutta. Super. They can make airplanes, I guess, as big as they need it for the. You know, they're not the whole world. Like Boeing wants to make a thousand passenger airplane. It'll take them $8 billion and 20 years to develop the design of something. Here they just come right down at a super super plane, loaded everybody up, and the plane had all these little spiritual wings, chanting, Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna, Hare, Hare Hare, back to God. And the husband looked and said, what did you just do? Wow, he really got the shakti. What did you just say? You just Liberated? I don't know. I just saw so many spirits liberated and they all went back to Godhead. I mean, this is. Wow. This is a religious experience for me. I tell you. I never seen anything like that. Okay, I'm a believer now. Well, I just said this verse from Bhagavad Gita. Kind of half the verse, not the whole one. King Tat, Brahma, King Adyatman King Karma Purushottama. Give me that one more. I don't know. You got to memorize that one. Okay, I think I got it. Is this correct? So the husband, he was so convinced now that because his wife said this and all the goats got liberated and if he chants it he'll get liberated. So he began to chant it like Japa every day. King Tat Brahmat Brahma King Karma. So he is going every day chanting the whole God for the day. Whatever he's doing he just keeps chanting this verse day after day, week after week, month after month, you know for even like for years he just kept chanting waiting, you know one day it's going to work. King God Brahman King of God, King Karma. Actually there's a question. What is spirit or Brahman? King Aliyahman was the soul herself. King Karma Purvishottama what is the vas of Karma? Who is the supreme personality of God? It's a beautiful question. So after some time then says that Lord Narayana Vishnu is in that spiritual world and he was on his throne with Lakshmi by his side and he said smiling. Then Lakshmi said well today you get like a little kind of a special smile. What are you thinking about today? Well in the planet of the four headed Brahma and the planet the universe when the planet earth has this one Brahmana every day he chants half a verse of Bhai would be there. I'm just thinking what blessing I have to give him. What are you going to give Kanikau Bishop Sinanda Commander in chief of the Vishnu Dutta Bring him up his wife too so got his free ride. His wife was his vagma Pradasha guru, a vajra guru. So she got also. So this was. They were, you know they kind of enjoyed their maternal life but their childhood mantra, little childhood mantras that they had memorized is saved him. So while you have that when the kids are up to 10 they have these sponge memories that they can memorize. So I know a 4 year old girl was chanting a 12th chapter Bhagavad Gita. I know they chanted so many times I don't know how many months it's going to take me to memorize it. But she was, she just boom boom boom boom. You could hardly speak but it was like she was saying all the verses. They have these amazing minds, young kids, they learn the verses like anything and I know I'm like nine year olds. She knows at least three or four chapters of I'm. It's quite amazing. Anyway Try to give as much Ka consciousness in their mind as you can and then try to make it as interesting as possible. You never know. Even if they decide they want to experiment, that remembrance of ka can save them. Just like a gender is moksha. Hopefully if they get enough Ka consciousness understanding, they won't waste their time experimenting. Get right into the preaching. Preaching is actually so exciting. Just in conclusion here it's very much exciting to say to help people become Ka conscious. It's to distribute books, to do all these things. It's very enlightening when you see people happy and even like little simple things. You may for me, because as a congregational minister, I'm trying to promote this. People do nalhat programs, do bhaitaviksha, do different outreach programs. And I remember one housewife came up to me and she just told me that I want to thank you so much that in our neighborhood, because of your program, they set up that we only have one car in our family. And my husband works, he takes the car. I've got three kids. I can't really. The temple's hour and a half from here. It's very hard for me to get there where we only can only go on weekends or once in a while at some big festival or something. But now every Wednesday, they have a program right next to our house. Because of that, I'm chanting 16 rounds. I'm able to understand Ka consciousness. I just want to thank you so much for having this program. Because of it, you really saved my life. You know, it's like, wow. It's like never thought of it like that. That how a program, little program, little effort that someone. And sometimes to do program in the beginning, nobody comes. Sometimes they come, sometime they don't. It's always austere to us to start outreach programs, you know, I'm not always austere. Sometimes it's really easy, but sometimes it's austere. But remembering at least, you know, Prabhupada, when you think about how he started preaching. I remember one devotee told me from 1967 days that they looked through the perfect gifts. Perfect, perfect. What's it called? Master's Gifts Store. Looked through the window and they saw Prabhupada giving a powerful lecture, waving his finger, you know, like, you know, wow, there must be. I'm missing a big, you know, class. You know, the place must be packed up and laid. And he went in and looked and there was nobody there. Only problem, there's nobody. No, there's so many devas here. Indra Brahma. So in Indravad was giving lecture, you know, he said every Wednesday, whatever the day he put, he was there giving class. Whether it was Indra listening or bike to Bill, you know, Bhaiteen Mary or whatever. But he was giving his class. So that prabhupada that came into termination, it wasn't easy always. It wasn't like every day was packed. Some day they were speaking, nobody there. But they still need the class. And we find that devotees have that determination that in the end people do come and you have to learn how to make it relevant for those people a little bit. Modern people have modern ways of seeing things. So we want for the beamedis, we want these brihastas that don't just waste our life and sleeping indulgence. And they would rather give some significant time every week, every month for outreach, for preaching for those who are fortunate to do every day deity worship and things like that. Be here in the community, do regular worship for the deities. That's really great that, that it's also a formal preaching. It's a dead preaching. And outreach helps so many people publicize that we have a place here that people can come to and get some spiritual relief and shelter so that people get the benefit of seeing these beautiful deities. Beautiful. These deities are really beautiful. Wonderful. I'm always very overwhelmed to come and see how wonderful the deities and my speedy worship is. Thank you for keeping up such a nice standard here in this rain forest. Warning Hare Krishna. Hare Krishna Kishka. So this must be so super significant. And I think a lot of devotees feel that way because we already got almost about 4,000 bookings. They built all kinds of. We completely just blocked every guest house in the place. Just rented the whole guest house all around the nearby area. Right now I think there's only a few dormitory rooms left. And all angry houses that live in my office suddenly have a lot of friends that I never knew about. One told me that she's having 40 people over. I don't know, we have to build those nice two bathrooms because one bathroom for 40 can do it. Yeah. My grandma mother used to say if there's room in the heart, there's room in the home. One opportunity is still there for those that want to. I was personally present at the casting of Nityananda Prabhu. It was a very amazing situation because we had about 200 Namhat devotees and people from different parts of the world who somehow appear. They knew that that day was the casting day at 10 o' clock. At night at Swami Malai near Kumbakonam, about six hours south of Madras, two hours north of Tiruchi, Rakumi and the Sulpi there is one of the most famous murti makers, his father, Gigantic Shiva dancing Nataraj and things like that. So he was definitely chosen because he got all the awards. And he cast also the deities in Vegas. Khan of Angalore, as far as I know. So everybody, we were praying and we went and prayed at Sri Ranganath temple and everywhere that the casting be successful. Because it's actually about 3 tons of molten metal in this mold. And you never know. I mean, if it could pop out from one side and create a massive kind of disaster potential, it's not. It's. They make a mold of the clay and everything, and they put that in the ground and has to put wet, moist ground around it to keep it so it cools at a proper speed. It's like a whole science thing. But this kind of science, like, very, very big. So you never know. It's a lot of molten metal there. And we all wanted it to be very successful in cast without any defects or anything, air bubbles and sign things. So we were praying. And then also this is to bring the Lord. The Lord come. So he comes because of the desire of the devotees. So casting is the first step, or just one of the steps in the beginning. So then we were like all getting geared up for that individually when we got there, and all these devotees were there chanting, and it was like a very real religious experience. And then Vujanegas had sent down a Sankalpa, then put it in Sanskrit with all our punyats and worked it out. And Govinda, Govinda, Gom, Bhima, Brahmaditi, Parana, all these mantras that this is this time and the universal hierarchy of time and Brahma's life and this Kalpa and this Yuga, and this year and this day, in this moment, in this place where they do the Sankalpa mantra, we are casting this deity for the purpose of making into Lord Nutinanda or to install us Anityananda in the future. This is a reflection that we're making for the purpose of being a deity in the future. And these are all the yajamas who have sent gold and silver and medals so far. At that point, there was a preliminary list of yajamas. I had five pages reading, you know, just the world being in that. I said, wait, my name's not Ahmed. And I said, wait, I don't want to miss this one. This is like wow. This is like a universal the deities for a thousand years. I quickly gave some money so why not buy me a kilo of silver, give $100, you know, and then 8,000 rupees more than 100 and added my name there and we put my kilo of silver there. And I went in Lord Nitinonga's head because I personally went in and the 43 Calgary had to put all the silver and gold in this like 10 foot, 2 1/2 meter, a little less than 10ft carbon spoon. Putting in each one the silver and gold. We had the molten copper and zinc and all the other things they had but the silver and gold that let us put at the end. Otherwise you never know what got in there, right? So they're very professional. Don't think the devotees are chanting the hallway. And then after this everyone chanting and the whole thing went very smooth. They asked me to do an aarti till the feet are sticking out and the head is down. And then the molten metal was filled up in the muerti. So I did an art thing. Then all of a sudden there was a bloop, bloop, bloop. A stream of molten metal came down towards my feet. I don't know if that was a sign, but I jumped. I took it as a signs. I didn't want to get the ventil on my feet. But now we're going to have a Mahasan kalba. I don't know how long it's going to take to read out everybody's name. But everybody has an opportunity to sponsor for the total not only the casting, but for the casting and for the whole festival. And it's divided up like in kilos of many. And even if someone doesn't have any money or any kids they can write 3 times Panchatatrama and 180 times Hare Krishna. Put your name on an envelope, give it to me or send it. And we're going to put all these Hare Krishna mantras under the Veena. So this we have. If anybody's interested in seeing the sponsorship sheet or sponsoring everything for the deity we have opportunity where you can get a copy and later you can see me. But I personally sponsoring some whatever my little ability. There's also one level where you actually get a panchatatva deities which I made as a miniature of the big deed. And it's only being made as far as I can only being made. Now for this period of time, for this occasion everyone gets a donation, gets either a medallion or a bell or some kind of like gift. I don't remember all the gifts or a deity set of the Panchatatma one for the hiding. So it's an opportunity. It starts off at the $41 for those on go, goes up for the bigger people, the bigger dormitories. It's an opportunity to do one. Not bending anybody's arm, but just I want to give the opportunity that everybody participate who runs to because I think it's a wonderful opportunity to be connected with these deities. The Prabhupada person wanted and don't often get that kind of an opportunity to be connected. Machine oil. Come and get machine oil. Maybe I'll do that after the 100%. Yeah. Just want to mention any announcements. Yes. Thank you for watching our videos. Be sure to subscribe to our channel. We publish new videos every day. And don't forget to like and share our channel.
