Chapter 9 text 22 translation.
But.
Those who are always worship me with exclusive devotion, meditating on my transcendental form. To them I carry what they lack and I preserve what they have. One who is unable to live for a moment without Ka consciousness cannot but think of Ka 24 hours a day. Being engaged in devotional service by hearing chanting, remembering, offering prayers, worshipping, serving the lotus feet of the Lord, rendering other services, cultivating friendship and surrendering fully to the Lord. Such activities are all auspicious and full of spiritual potencies which make the devotee perfect in self realization so that his only desire is to achieve the association of the supreme personality of Godhead. Such a devotee undoubtedly approaches the Lord without difficulty. This is called Yoga. By the mercy of the Lord, such a devotee never comes back to this material condition of life. Kshema refers to the merciful protection of the Lord. The Lord helps the devotee to achieve Ka consciousness by Yoga. And when he becomes fully Ka consciousness, the Lord protects him from falling down to a miserable conditioned life. But those who always worship me with exclusive devotion, meditating on my transcendental form. To them I carry what they lack and I preserve what they have.
Yoga Shaman Mahamriham this is a very important verse of the Bhagavad Gita. The Lord gives what we have, what we left and protects what we have. So it mentions that the devotee is engaged in devotional service 24 hours a day. And he gives some practical examples how the devotee is always engaged in different devotional services. So this is. These are very practical. Our daily activities that we are doing anyway or our material we eat, but instead we eat Rashad. Everybody eats and if they eat Rashad then they will do this all day. We associate with our friends and we talk about. So you hear different people talking and either talking about the politicians or some other mundane things. We talk about a devotional service, about Ka and all the activities of Ka and the Kaja movement. So in this way we're engaged in the activities. Everyone is talking with their friends, but they're not talking about Ka. We talk about Ka, right? Yes. How many like to talk about Krishna? How many like to eat Tushana? So at the end we'll give every son of Ushan. The name is from Sri Ranam and also the temple. So it's Austerity. You have to make the supreme sacrifice to eat this Mashallah. Are you willing to make it? I see the hands. You see sometimes I wrote to Prabhupada that he asked me to stay in India and he asked me to stay in Myanthal. So I thought that I like to stay in the. I like to stay in Myanthur. I like the image, I like the Maya for dumb Ajanga and so on. So maybe there's something wrong. Like you should do whatever the Guru wants even if it's like very difficult. But I wasn't finding it difficult. It was easy, it was fun, it was nice. So I wrote it to Prabhupada. Is it all right? Would I like to do what you ordered? He said it's not that you have to. You should do what the Guru has. Whether you like it or you don't like it. That doesn't mean if you like it, you shouldn't do it. Exactly. You don't want to be artificial, renunciant. So maybe you like the sun. But sometimes like we observe a car sea. Now some devadis, they like to eat rice. And also I would say in the east and south of India and Nizam there are mainly rice eaters. Maybe in the northwest of India and Tanjal and other places that eat the. I don't know who they are. Mainly Juvadi and Yuti and Panyan and all these things. So what we want to do, whether I'm in a retake or show but on a Karasi you can't take chapati or you can't take rice. So two days a month we have to eat fruits, roots and other kinds of seeds which are not vegetables. We don't take any rice, wheat, dal, beans, sometimes green, lean to serve to the Prabhupada. And he oh no, what have you done? It's a courtesy. You give me beans so beans break. A courtesy. You cannot take beans, pulses or cereals. So like this. Then you again bless her a Charadesi or someday. So in this way, even if you like or you don't like or you should observe the Kadasi. He should observe the fast days like Rama and Ka do Nastri and a lastly, Prabhupada said that Radharani is more merciful than Ka because she only makes her fast till noon. Krishna makes her fast till midnight. Actually Krishna makes his fast as long as anyone is even more wrong. He. He appeared at noon and Archaitanya appeared at moonrise which is all sunset. Lord Krishna appears At midnight. But that's okay. We observe these fast days in order to please the Lord. So some may like a goddess, the other person may like a goddess. But others, they find it very difficult. Even the one day without life. You see in the Bhishma Panchata, the last five days of the Dharma, we observe a fast. We get observed in any way in Sanchez Lovia, our herds and roots or haleshana. So normally I take roots and roots. And about 3, 400 devotees they take with me five or six do pancha yoga, the side products of the cow, which is very difficult. You can take all the cow urine you want one day, next day all the cow dung. So today's blessing. And then you can make everything. But how much cowering is doing all various of those who do the pancheville. Yeah. So because of my condition, I had to do physiotherapy. I did the khadisha and Alicia, but otherwise I would do the roots and roots. First day, they take so many roots. They say, oh, it's easy, easy. But the third day, rice. Rice. Rice is nice. Suffering too much. So of course you can do halisanna and then you can eat rice. So anyway, the idea is we don't. Whether we like it or we don't like it. We observe the fasting because it's for pleasing Ka. Our Dr. Archutananda here, anything a card is. He does Ninja is not required. I never saw Prah do it, but he does, he likes our sir. So I'm right to his service. Because it's hard enough. You get people to observe ekadashi. But if you tell them it's nirjo, then they'll. They don't do it at all. But he tell them that, okay, you can take fruits, roots, vegetables. You know, there's so many silma, chow and buckwheat. And there's different kinds of. You see, green replacements. So it's really not difficult. So this two days, if everybody observed in the world, we would have seen so many billions of kilos of grains in a day. So this one is two days. And the things which were there, like vessels, it take those won't keep very long. So it leaves those. So in any case, the devotee engage is a ka service all the time, 24 hours a day. And sometimes the devotee is doing austerity. It's all considered as an austerity. Even they like it, you still have to do it. Just because you like it, they're not allowed to renounce it. But one our devotee he was a disciple of Bhakti Siddhanta sir Sati Nakur. He proposed to his Gurudev that he wanted to circumambulate the Gang linga. It's a very big feet going out to the as a gold looking all the way down to siren second and holding of it. His guru said no, he should not circumambulate the Ganges. He should preach. He didn't follow his guru. Instead he anyway he circumame. He circumambulated. So that after finishing and circumlating over a year after finishing he came to go very proud. I have circumambulated the Dhamma. You're no longer qualified to do a Sannyasi. Back to Varochan. He took away his danda and his robes and he made him wash the pots for two months. You see what we do shed need for the fajr of fish and not hinder our ego. So there are certain things that we are allowed to do. We can do those things. But other things we shouldn't do that are not given. So if you want to fast, fast on there's days which are recommended for fasting. Like Bhishma or Vishwam Sanchika or other days. Or like in the month of Dhamma Nar. One can observe one month this evening Holy Shannon or not taking salt and not taking other days. We don't need to do this posterity. It's not required. So devoting. Then this is to all day long engaged in Christian service. All the time the devotee is illuminating Ka. So in this way Yoga means to connect. Link up. He is linked with Krishna. He is connected to Krishna. This is a very positive sign. And that's why this Bhakti Yoga Connecting of Krishna through devotional service. So how long do you like the devotional service? Very good. You should do it even then you like it. So while he gets the questions ready, anyone can tell your questions. In the meantime we'll have the Luke please for four or five minutes. Those who have questions, I may hand them to if you don't have a question. If you want to write down your question then.
