Jaya Pataka Swami discusses how the Gopis experience both lamentation and jubilation at once, and traces the path from regulated devotional practice toward spontaneous ecstatic love. He recounts feeling spiritual happiness despite physical illness, illustrating how inner joy can exist independent of bodily condition.
So in the class you were saying the Gopis experience the lamentation and jubilation at the same time. Is there an example in this world which can give us an idea of what it is like? Is there an example of this world which could give us an idea what that's like? My grandma says I can't think of one. What Vajitanya was experiencing before him was what Madhurani was experiencing. So he was researching. He was researching what was the love that his devotees got around he had for him.
Dwarga.
I told that Indwarga was meaning was serving Krishna. And then she said, Krishna, you know everything. You know what's in the whole universe, what's in Brahma Loca.
She was doing in my life.
You know what she was doing in Kailash.
What was going on with me. I learned millions of universe.
You know what's going on in the unlimited millions of universes.
But there's one thing you don't know.
But there is one thing you don't know.
I know.
I know. We don't know. I never said that to him. Something he didn't know. What is that something that the supreme personality of God doesn't know? It's simply incredible. What is that? You don't know how much your devotees love you.
You don't know.
You don't know in what way they love you. Then Lord Krishna thought, I will come where he is. Finding out what love his devotees have.
For him, what way they love him.
And in what way they love him.
This world, I don't know. Example of such things exuded.
I mean, in this world. I don't know that such things they are that Lord Chaitanya exhibited.
Very high fever.
I mean I had In India like 1972 or 73, I had a very high fever. I was feeling a lot of pain in my body.
My listening to the lecture for Prabhupada Vrindavan on the nectar of devotion.
So I was listening to the lecture of Prabhupada Vrindavan on nectar of devotion.
I was feeling confidence, but I was feeling happiness. Although.
Physically I was feeling pain.
Very happy.
Somehow my consciousness was very happy. I don't think that's an example. Lamentation and jubilation on Krishna for Krishna.
Materially somebody. Truthfully, I realized I love money.
I was materially suffering, but. And then I realized that I'm not this body.
Because out of soul, consciousness, living forces right out of me.
Because as a soul, as the consciousness, the living force. I was very happy hearing Sri Baba's Lectures. But physically I was stubborn by anything.
I realized that my consciousness is not the same as my body.
So I realized that my consciousness is not the same as my body.
Mostly don't have any consciousness of Ka.
But most people don't have any consciousness of Ka. I mean I don't know. I don't think is anyone knows. I mean I don't think anyone knows.
The author said actually I can't write properly.
So actually pastimes the author is saying.
Actually I can't write properly because for my example in the hotel world how do you take it and you relate to it?
I mean there's no example. I mean what in the material world where someone is feeling happiness in jubilation and lamentation at the same time after.
You reach satisfied, you don't allow attention.
And actually to be satisfied even in lamentation.
Ice cream or something.
We give the mention. Okay, let me give you ice cream. There's nothing like that. But in Lord Krishna.
Thank you very much. Please accept my sexual bin. Thank you very much. This is the question from yesterday's class. So you mentioned how the keepers of Vrindavan and the Gobis are always in are always feeling separation from Krishna. In fact they are always associating with Krishna because they are always remembering him.
But still associating with Krishna because they are always remembering him.
But still they feel the separation.
But they still feel the separation.
But we are in actual like in reality we are the ones who are separated from Krishna. But we do not feel that separation.
Actually it's a separation of Krishna. We don't feel that kind of separation.
So how do we realize that we are in separation?
How do we realize that we are in separation?
Allah.
Everyone understand the question.
So they are certainly so the thing is that Lord Chaitanya is pitying us. How we don't love Krishna in celebration.
The thing is that Lord Chaitanya is teaching us how we can love Ka and separation.
And.
If we develop the desire, I ask how we want to develop Lovakrishna?
Raise your hand.
How much? Everybody raise their hand.
And what if you desire it very intensely, very strongly.
But if we desire it very intensely.
We want it strongly then we could achieve that.
We could achieve that.
But we have to do everything to please yourself.
We have to do everything focused to please Ka. And.
Gradually we'll awaken that spontaneous love.
And gradually we will awaken that spontaneous love.
In the beginning of the lecture of the Rosha Bhakti Rasamhita Sindhu in the.
Beginning of the nectar of devotion, the Bhakti rasamitha.
Sindhu explains always start devotional service following certain rules.
Explains how we start devotional service following certain rules.
We call practicing rosal service spontaneous, habitual.
And then gradually practicing devotional service becomes a spontaneous kind of like ritual thing.
From there one action starts the road attached.
And then from there one actually starts.
To develop a taste and become very attached. It becomes ecstatic and becomes very attached.
Becomes very ecstatic.
And that starts with line, with rights.
Ecstatic symptoms, they start to manifest ecstatic symptoms.
They start to achieve ka prema.
And that becomes pure and they start to achieve ka prema.
So these are the steps, a gradual process.
So these are the steps. It's a gradual process.
Eight steps to the bala, eight steps to the bhava. Prema. Eight types of prema and prema.
Eight steps of prema.
We may not get all the way to.
We may not get all the way of the steps in prema. But anyway, even bhava, it's very nice.
I always want to end early.
I always want to end early. But it seems that it always ends up late. Thank you for watching our videos. Be sure to subscribe to our channel. We publish new videos every day. And don't forget to like and share our channel.
