Jayapataka Swami Maharaja teaches that devotees should never stop serving Krishna, no matter what obstacles arise. False ego, criticism from others, and changing circumstances may slow progress, but sincere desire to serve secures forgiveness and future chances to advance.
For devotees, if our goal is to get back to Ka, then nothing can actually stop us. Something may delay us. Nothing can stop us. So it's very important we always keep our goal fixed. To serve Krishna, be in the bodhi and we avoid doing that either. We get puffed up. We can see the dangers of being puffed up. Dangers of making mistakes, misreading, committing offenses, could be curses, could be a delay. But if your desire is to serve Krishna, then you'll get at the end of the day, you'll get another chance and get Krishna Wa forgave you. You won't let your parish and name up the Himash at so we can have that solace. Whatever may be the difficulties we face, or whether someone has difficulties with their vocal temple authorities, or whether they have difficulty with any kind of spiritual situation on some external level, we should never give up this innermost desire to observe Ka. Because different circumstances and environments may change. Time, place, circumstance changes from time to time. And we shouldn't use anything as an excuse not to serve Krishna. This is my unable trying to give us so many reasons why not to serve Krishna. Look at devotees don't appreciate you. You were the number two in the whole Sankirtan marathon. Number one got all the prizes. And there's two. You got nothing. He got the ticket to India. You didn't even get a ticket to the Thai Busta. Nobody loves you, Nobody appreciates you. You should. Why are you doing this devotional service anyway? If you are a corporate engineer, you could be, you know, the mind will put in so many crazy things, you know, whatever. Through the false ego trying to put in something, sometimes you find somebody's doing something actually wrong. But then because somebody pointed it out, the person who pointed it out that you're doing something wrong becomes the enemy. He didn't point it out in the right way, didn't do it this way, that way. So Maya somehow tries to get our false ego to convince us we should do devotional service. Whether Mochi Thakhen say green hay, takho bonnetako, salah household situation, whether you live in a forest or ashram koairagi situation, whatever situation you may be in, go on chanting.
