We at ISKCON New Rajapur Jagannath Dam situated in Magadi main road Bangalore feel extremely blessed to be hosting today's JSS program for our dear Gurmaraj Today's schedule will be as follows as is displayed we'll be starting with an introduction and agenda which is the current session which I am speaking on Next we will be having the Kirtan session this will be followed by a talk on our Yatra and the memories of Guru Maharaj by our temple president His Grace Chaitanya Avatari Prabhu after that we will have the chanting of the Hare Krishna Mahamantra this will be followed by prayers to Lord Dhanvantri Then we will chant the Ugram Veeram prayers followed by Narasimha Kavacha prayers Then finally we will have the Nashma Aarti and then after that we'll bring the program to a close so we again thank each one of you for joining today's session we hope you enjoy it thank you very much now we will start with the Kirtan by his grace Bala Murari Prabhu and his Kirtan team Hare Krishna.

Hare Krishna so with that we come to the end of the Kirtan session. Now we will move to the next item on the agenda. Now we will hear from our temple President His Grace Chaitan Avatari Prabhu and her Grace Rasmai Mata Ji about our Yatra and some memories about our dear Gurmaraj over to his Grace Chaitanu Tari Prabhu Hare Krishna.

As all of us heard from Mahavara Prabhu yesterday that Guru Maharaj's health condition is little challenging and is extremely fatigued to tired he couldn't speak. So as advised by the Seva committee and all the seniors specifically from his Holiness Bhakti Purushottana Swami that all of us have to intensely pray Rila Shri Chaitani Mahaprabhu Jagannath Baldev Subhadra My Sudarshan Chandra Narsheng Raj that we want Guru Maharaj to be with us for many more years in the service of Srila Prabhupada to Fulfill his instructions. And it will be a great opportunity for all of us in the association of Guru Maharaj in supporting and helping in achieving his mission. So our prayers should be really, really intense that Lord hear to our prayers. So thank you for all of you to join for this prayer session. I'm expected to speak specifically about our temple Yatra and then the prayer continues so that we know where are we from, what we do and how we are all inspired by Srila Gurudev. There are unlimited pastimes in my experience. I would like to specifically draw one or two incidences based on our interactions when Guru Maharaj's last visit in October 2023 when Guru Maharaj visited Bangalore. Just to give a perspective. We are situated north of Bangalore. We are officially known as Iskcon Magadi main road. And we are known also known as Istanyu Rajapur Jagannatham in Bangalore. We have 10 temples around 10 temples today. And there are many outposts which is eventually going to be extinction centers and grove to meet Guru Maharaj's vision. In 2003, when Guru Maharaj had come to Bangalore, he announced publicly in the Rath Yatra that Bangalore will see hundred and eight temples and it will be the first Ka conscious city in the world. I have full faith in this because all of us know that Srila Prabhupada said this Guru Maharaj is an eternal associate of Srila Prabhupada. Sorry Chaitanya Mahaprabhu and his desires will certainly come through as disciples. We are committed in following his instructions. So we have a community here in New Rajapur Jagannatham. Around 200 devotees in this community and many regular visitors take part in our regular programs. Majority of them serve around in the temple. Many of them are Grayishtas. And I just want to specifically want to highlight how Guru Maharaj is humbled. His humility just wins your heart every time. So Guru Maharaj came in September end and to inaugurate the ISKCON South Bangalore temple. They had a new facility which was inaugurated. Then he went to Mangalore to pay a visit to the upcoming Bangalore temple project Mangalore. He visited and he was not all that feeling well. And he is supposed to get back quickly because his health was deteriorating at that time. I'm talking about October first week of 2023. So the secretaries headed by Mahavara Prabhu was seriously thinking of how do we give immediate medical attention to Guru Maharaj. And the thought is that obviously we have to go to Chennai to be with Dr. Rella's facility. Whether it's not Guru Maharaj cannot fly. His oxygen saturation was going down. So they decided to take a night flight and they came to Bangalore. Before he could leave Mangalore. I get a call from Guru Maharaj saying that my health is little going up and down. I'm planning to pass by Bangalore. Is it alright if I come and stay with you for a couple of days? Well, all of us know that Guru Maharaj is the boss of this whole place. Because the GVC's own secretary is a Guru and long serving Sannyasi in iskcon. But he never ever stepped into other zone without following the protocol. I was so humbled by his humility that he was asking that can I come and stay with you for a couple of days? So that was kind of. I was speechless for a moment when Guru Maharaj was talking on the phone that how all of us should emulate these kind of wonderful qualities. We take things for granted when we have some better situation. But he never misuses position situation. And to demonstrate how he is always humble in the service of Srila Prabhupada and not end there. When we went to the airport, we picked him up. By the time we came to the temple it was almost 1am in the night. In the early morning he's supposed to come at 9 o'.

It was delayed and so many devotees were just outside to receive Guru Maharaj. And he immediately asked why they're all up early in the morning. I'm so sorry I have disturbed all of you. So that's an extension of that humility feeling that he is caring for all of the devotees even though he requires care at this point in time. So these two things which it's not the first time seeing because this is the last one. So I've just. I thought I'll just share this point. And the next day we had Panihati and Snariatra festival.

So actually when I met Shila Gurudev in May, I met him in Minneapolis. Hare Krishna.

Go ahead. Yes, you are fully audible, Mataji. Go ahead.

In May we met Shlagrudev in Minneapolis. That time I told Shla Gurudev. Gurudev, last year you came and did Panihatti festival and also Snani Yatra to our Jagannath and Gauravnita. So this year also they are going to wait for you. They are not going to take bath unless you come. Then just Gurmaj just looked at me. Then again in September I met him in Iskcon South Bangalore. Then I told him, shila, Gurudev Jagannath has still not taken bath. He's waiting for you. Then Gurudev, he said, he didn't say anything. Then he said, no, I have to go to Mangalore. Then he said, he'll wait until you come, Gurudev. I just told him that. And then the rest of the things you heard, then Gurudev came. Gurudev came here to Bangalore after he finished his Mangalore visit. And then it so happened that his saturation was so low. And then the whole night he was coughing. The whole night his saturation went on. And the whole night he was coughing. And Mahavarha Prabhu was up. The whole night he was just taking care of Gurudev. Mahavara Prabhu's dedication to Gurudev is so overwhelming. It really touched our hearts how he is taking care of Guru Maharaj and of course, and all the other servants who are traveling along with Guru Maharaj. And then in the morning, it was very. His health had really gone down. And then immediately all of us, whoever had gathered here, we were also preparing for the Snani Yatra festival. Along with that Shamrasika Prabhu, he has taken the service of getting the lotus feet of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu done. So that as per the desire of the Acharya, as per the desire of Bhakti Siddhant Saraswakushla, Gurudev wants to install 108 lotus feet, the remaining of the lotus feet of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu in different places where he has visited. But Shamrasika Prabhu said, okay, some of the lotus feet which has to go to South India, they can come here to Bangalore, so that Guru Maharaj can simultaneously do the Abhishek of the lotus feet. Then the lotus feet, they also had arrived. And so the whole night we had prepared for the festival. But in the meantime, Guru Maharaj's health was getting very bad. And then he had to be hospitalized. In the morning, around 8 o', clock, they said, then, Guru Maharaj, we have to take you to the hospital. Then yes, Guru Maharaj was ready to go to the hospital. But Guru Maharaj also was saying that, no, they already prepared for the festival. They have prepared for the Snaani Yatra. Because we just prepared it in just one day's time. Guru Maharaj coming here, it just happened that just before he came, just that day, morning he told us, and the evening he came, and the next day we had to prepare for the festival. And so Guru Maharaj saw that so much. All the devotees were so much involved in the festivities, he said, and then the lotus feet have also come. So Guru Maharaj, in spite of his health, his saturation was going down. And in spite of all that, he came, he did the Abhishek and then he left for the hospital. This was really touching our heart seeing how Srila was. Gurudev is so committed to the service of Srila Prabhupada and to the Acharyas. And in spite of his failing health, he just did not bother. And his only aim is to satisfy the Acharyas and Srila Prabhupada. So as his disciples we have to take great lesson from this. How Srila Prabhupada? How Shila Gurudev, he's always coming out of his comfort zone to serve Srila Prabhupada. So as his disciples we must always aspire that we don't remain in our comfort zone and we must take some austerity to serve Shla Gurudeva. So this is a very, very important lesson, what we learned. And time and again we have been seeing that even when this time when he went to Vrindavan, I know there also he was so. He did not have very good health when he went to Vrindavan, but he was so committed that he wants to do the installation. But then unfortunately his health became quite bad and from Vrindavan they had to travel back to Delhi. And in Delhi he was completely in consciousness of oh, I wanted to do the Abhishek of the lotus feet and I want to do, I want to serve Bhakti Siddhanta Satsutakur so we can see how Srila Gurudev is always Krishna conscious. Come what may, he is always Krishna conscious. And we are all so fortunate, so fortunate. We are unable to actually even comprehend how fortunate we are that we have got such an amazing spiritual master who is actually taking all our sins and he is taking all our difficulties and so that we can practice Krishna consciousness nicely. So for such a glorious spiritual master, we have to ask ourselves at least I have to ask myself, what am I going? What am I doing for him? And if each and every one of us ask and each and every one of us follow what Gurudev is saying. Gurudev also says, you know, that if all of you follow the four regulatory principles and then if you chant your rounds and do your devotional service, then I will not be suffering so much. So as each of us being very committed and disciples of Srila Gurudev, we must see to it that we follow his instructions. So that is not so that Dev does not suffer. So it's very, very important. So let us all join hands together. And also Gurudev says that if you pray then I will get better. Because this is what. So let us all sincerely pray to Sri Sri Jagannath Baldev, Subhadra Nitaigaura, Chandra Narasimhadev that they give Shla Gurudev Dheerga Aayu and Dhrida Purna Arogyam immediately so that he can go ahead with his commitment and services to Srila Prabhupada. Because he wants to fulfill all the instructions what Srila Prabhupada has given him. Hare Krishna.

I just wanted to just few specific instruction which is pertaining to the devotees here. Because before Guru Maharaj left last visit to Mayapur. No, I don't remember. So he said in that situation also he said very nice temple, very nice devotees. And he said that he want this place to be center of excellence for systematically educating people in the bhakti. So as taking that instruction seriously. Of course, you know, we've been doing this registered as a center for Bhakti Shastri and we want to continue and enhance it to Bhakti Vaibhava and all that. So there are so many regular Bhakti Shastri classes that are all going on many batches been enrolled. So that's one. And he also said that we want all of us to be focused within five kilometer radius here. And you want us to focus to ensure that all those who are in and around, they all visit the temple regularly and they become Ka conscious. So the second instruction gave us and the third instruction is specifically when I met Guru Maharaj in Juhu Mumbai in February, he told me we were talking something about the congregation development and how we need to be focused in terms of upgrading the devotees who was practicing from home. Because Guru Maharaj explaining how more than 95% of the devotees live outside the temple as congregation. And specifically after saying this, you do reference to all the devotees. He is saying that I like that all the devotees in Guru Raja Mutta Nana were very committed, systematically follow instructions and they're doing the devotional service. And then he generalized saying that that is not that is good, but how we slowly train them to be spontaneous. How do we upgrade them to become Raganugas? How do we develop them to follow the rag Bhakti? So for us, for many of many devotees even to follow the regulatory principles and to chant the 16 rounds, certain Mangalayati Readshila Prabhupada books every time we have to keep saying. But Guru Maharaj has already given the next level of direction in terms of saying that how do we upgrade all the Grahastas to practice Ragnuga Bhakti? Because he want many of the leaders to become gurus future. Because he was talking about million Acharyas. We were also talking about unless the Grayas follow higher standard, if they don't become Paramahamsas, where do we get the next generation people? And we want Acharyas from such wonderful gravastas. So it's our responsibility to fulfill many of Guru Maharaj's instructions. So we need to be open. We need to keep hearing from Guru Maharaj so that we don't lose enthusiasm. This is very important that how Guru Maharaj is enthusiastic and how Rla Prabhupada is saying that my only asset is my enthusiasm and my sincerity to serve my spiritual master. And same in following in his footsteps. Guru Maharaj is also his commitment to serve his spiritual master. And he is enthusiastic which is highly infectious. So as being discipled and aspiring disciples of Guru Maharaj that we also need to demonstrate how enthusiastic in serving devotional service so that we can naturally upgrade to the next level of Bhakti platform. So with that I just stop my time and here and all the devotees assembled here, you want to intensely pray. We're going to chant as the format which is given. And I just want to before I just hand over back to Vishwa Sri Govinda Prabhu. I just want to say that you know, as in the community it's just easy for us. From last January we have been doing every day, every day Narshringajna Sudarshana Jajna. And later on when we came to know about Dhanvantrijna we started that also last two, three months. We have been continuously doing for the welfare of Guru Maharaj. Maybe we are not pure devotees, but we are our endeavor. We love Guru Maharaj and we are continuing to do so. And when Guru Maharaj is in ICU from Delhi to Vrindavan to Delhi and all those days, 12 days, all the devotees they 24 hours they were continuously chanting Ugram Veeram. At any point in time there are 30 devotees chanting Ugram Veeram prayers. And again we take a Sankalpa. After a break from yesterday, we again we started to continue to chant ugram eeram prayers. 24 hours non stop till the time Guru Maharaj get back again to a better health situation. So that's our commitment and please bless us so that we serve Guru Maharaj by our sincere prayers. Thank youk Hare Krishna Vishwa Prabhupada over to you Hare Krishna Chila Guru Devaki.
