Prayers for HH Jayapataka Swami Maharaja Speedy Recovery

To pray to Sri Sri Lord, Sri Sri Lord Narsimadev Sri Sri Dhanvantari Bhagawan to grant long life and very good health to our very beloved dear Guru Maharaj. So before I share with you the schedule for today's program, I would like to give a very brief introduction of our group. So we are an online group of 2,000 plus devotees. The composition of this online devotee congregation is like this. 50% amongst us are the housewives and the other 50% are freelance professionals from varied fields like doctors, engineers, media professionals, people from I T companies and multinational corporations. There are around five different WhatsApp groups, namely Bhagavad Gita classes, Gita Gyan Group, Bhagavad Gita students, Bhagavad Gita English group, etc. The activities that that this online community group is basically engaged in is are as follows. Reading and discussing of Srila Prabhupada books, Sadhana Tracking of the devotees, Counseling sessions. Hosting different festivals online. Collecting financial contributions for ISKCON Mayapur and preparing and encouraging and also assisting devotees to take diksha from Gurus within our response society. So this is a brief introduction of our small community and more on this will be shared by His Grace Radhapati Gopinath Prabhu who is our leader. And later he would be sharing his realizations and insights regarding Guru Maharaj. So now the schedule for today's prayer session is as follows. We will begin with the four rounds of congregational chanting of the Hare Krishna Mahamantra and then we will jointly perform. Of course we will first perform the joint foundational chanting. Then there will be glorification of Guru Maharaj by His Grace Sadhpati Gopinath Prabhu. Towards the end we would be reciting the Dhanvantri Mantra and Narsim Kavaj prayers. And before that we would have the Kirtanyas to dedicate some nice melodious Kirtan for Guru Maharaj's health. And then we would culminate the program by Narsim Aarti. So now I would request all the devotees who are there joined online to please take their feedbacks and get ready for chanting. And also those who are watching on YouTube and Facebook and other social media channels that they kindly sit and chant for Guru Maharaj, very dedicated. So on behalf of this online community, I would like to offer our collective obeisances to all the senior Vaishnavas and Vaishnavis and also devotees who would be watching this program live, who are watching this program live as well as those who are, you know, going to perhaps watch it on YouTube a little later. This particular, in certain sense, I cannot call it a homage per se, but it's a combination of giving a little bit of update about whatever spiritual efforts we have made in terms of praying to their lordships to keep us. To keep you with us for as long as you desire to be with us. So in that reference, I would now like to start. First things first, Guru Maharaj as mentioned, is my voice audible? Sorry for this little disturbance. So I'm just a small pause. I'll take a small pause for a moment. Let's turn the audio and video. Our apologies. There was a small technical glitch and I think now we are good to go. Respected Gurudev, this is a community of online devotees. They hail from various parts of the world and the core thing which keeps all of us together is primarily the Shravan. So every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 7am to 8am we all come together and we recite and read both. We recite the verse and we read Srila Prabhupada's translation as well as Srila Prabhupada's purport. And this way we try to be in touch with the teachings of the founder Acharya as well as the preeminent Shiksha Guru of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness. Having said that, it's not the only thing that this community does. They are extremely supportive of ISKCON Mayapur, particularly their financial contributions, Guru Maharaj towards the Science Museum of Vedic Planetarium, towards another and towards Mayapur Seva office, Doshala and hospital. They are very praiseworthy. Without any push of any type, direct or indirect. All these devotees are very, very regular in rendering their service to Sridhar Mayapur. Wherever you are, Guru Maharaj, Mayapur is there. So if this voice is reaching out to you, I just request that you amply bless all these devotees because they have in their little capacity tried to serve Sridhar Mayapur. And whoever serves Mayapur is definitely very, very dear to you. These community members also have multiple smaller groups wherein they track their Sadhana, particularly of their 16 rounds. And besides that, whenever there is a festival then we have special three day, two day or a five day series, special programs. Sometimes we invite some other devotees as well during, during those, those sessions. So those are the kind of activities which this online community does. And they come from India largely of course, besides the India, they also hail from United States predominantly, that's the second largest, then Middle east and then Australia and then single digit numbers from the rest of the world. But that's not the most important aspect. What is more important is that one, they try to be in touch with Srila Prabhupada's teachings and two, they serve Sridharmapur. And both these things are extremely, extremely auspicious. And I know personally that both these things are very, very dear to you. Guru Maharaj. When His Holiness Gopal Krishna Goswami Maharaj left this planet and I was in Vrindavan during his Samadhi ceremony and it was a very, very scary period. Your health was extremely fragile at that time, had already left. And it was a. It was a very heavy thing on the heart. And we all felt that the Lord must, you know, keep you with us because one pillar is already not there anymore. And then we all kind of got together and we decided, many of the community devotees encouraged and to certain extent they also forced me that we must do something which is collective and which is intense. So from 10th of May, which was the day of Akshay Trithiya, we started and we made a Sankalp of chanting 16,108 rounds of hare Krishna Mahamantra over the period of next 30 days. We concluded it on 8th of June. Guru Maharaj, I'm happy to share that every morning minimum 110, 120 devotees would join in and chant their four rounds. And every evening minimum 40 devotees would join in and chant Their four rounds. So this way we ended up with around 18,000 rounds of hare Krishna Mahamantra. And I understand that you often mention that whoever chants for me, he should give 50% of the result. But as you only mentioned at couple of occasions that emergency knows no rules. So I, on behalf of this community Gurudev, request you that you accept this Yajna in its entirety. May Lord Sri Hari, Sri Krishna Chaitanya Mahaprabhu accept our little effort and give all the results towards the speedy recovery of your health. Besides this Gurudev, we chanted, we used to chant nine times the Dhanavantari Mantra and one time Narsimakovach. So on an average every day we would chant 1008 minimum times Dhanvantari Mantra. And if you add all of that, we chanted over 31,000 Dhanvantri mantra. Actually we chanted around 50,000 because there were devotees who were one chanting more or they were more in numbers. And every day minimum we would chant 40 Narasimha Kavach for you. So definitely 1008 Narasimha Kavach, 51,000 Dhanavantri mantra and around 18,000 Hare Krishna Mahamantra were chanted. The rounds were chanted for the speedy recovery of your health. On 8th we sort of concluded, and not that there is a direct correlation because I am just sharing on behalf of all these community members that you are staying in this body on the strength of three factors. One, because you have pleased Srila Prabhupada and it's by his blessings that your desire is being honored. Second, because Srila Prabhupada is a pure devotee of the Lord. So Lord Chaitanya also allows that your desire be fulfilled. And third is your intense determination. Only these three things are keeping you in this body. Does that mean that whatever prayers we are making are not making any difference? Maybe to. To an extent, these efforts would perhaps, you know, lessen your inconvenience. But it has absolutely no correlation with your Herculean willpower. The kind of blessings that you have from Srila Prabhupada, even if none of us prays, and if you so desire to stay in the body, you. You will be staying in the body. But we are your spiritual children, Guru Maharaj. And as it happens, the toddlers in the house, how much can they do with so much anarthas in us? Every morning is a promise and every evening is an apology that I couldn't fulfill what I promised to you. We are guilt ridden and fallen. But whatever little we did, if you accepted, if Krishna accepted, it basically is for our purification. Because on 9th of June, we again came to know that your health deteriorated. There was some kind of a gradual improvement. And that's why in the beginning I said, I'm not establishing any correlation between our chanting and your health. But still it just reminded us that the fight is not over yet. And the fight is indeed very, very long. So as they say, when the going gets tough, the tough gets going. So we have decided to resume to this Yajna. And since it's going to be a long battle, we are not fixing a deadline, but perhaps we are fixing certain milestones. So on behalf of this community of online devotees, I would like to share with you that starting this Neerjal Ekadashi, all of these devotees would be circumambulating. Tulasi Maharani and this online community alone desires to circumambulate 108,000 times, which is 1 lakh 8,000 circumambulations. And we would pray to Tulsi Maharani to absorb all the sinful reactions that are reaching out to you. Because you are preaching continuously and you are taking sinful reactions of so many fallen people. So we seek your blessings, Guru Maharaj, that we can fulfill these desires of ours to serve you. Besides this, every day a minimum of 200 rounds of hare Krishna Mahamantra will be offered to you. And this way we will offer minimum 6000 rounds of hare Krishna Mahamantra to you till the time. And we may make it a regular practice. Actually, because I'm Just sharing with these devotees who are sitting here that when we can't see you suffering, how can you stay in the body and actually take it? You know, something that can't be seen, how can one experience it? That experience would be so much torturous. You are by the virtue of my, you know, how should I state it? My service to you. You are also my reporting boss, Gurudev. And therefore I know that the world only sees the physical suffering of yours. But those who are close to you via their service, they know that what kind of mental agonies you are put through because you chose to serve people and you chose to suffer for them willingly. And when I look at that aspect, your physical suffering looks tiny to me. In the last eight years of my service to you, I have closely observed that the, that the sort of mental pressure that is there upon you, I mean every part of your body is gradually giving up. And you are so humble. There are many so called, you know, I would still call them spiritual toddlers, but they may call themselves as practitioners. If any of them is ever put into a condition like yours, perhaps they will call it a day in a day. They won't be able to take it. You maintain such intense composure. You stay so humbly focused. Sometimes I am actually apprehensive. So many of us say our Guru Maharaj has emerged victorious and he has won over death. And that's our, that's not something that we are proud of. That's actually some, I believe it's a statement born out of false ego. You have won over death because you are humble. Your intense prayers to your spiritual master and your utter dependence upon him is how you have conquered death. Otherwise, if we go by the modern science, the kind of ailments that you are continuing with are sufficient for anyone to leave body. Every day, every moment, every hour, every minute that you are spending on this planet is purifying unlimited souls, Guru Maharaj. And I'm just conveying this to you, that we are fallen, useless. You have come from the spiritual world to reclaim us. And I'm not saying it out on the strength of any sentiment. Your own spiritual master is divine grace, Abhay Charanarvin Bhaktived Swami Shula Prabhupada, that you are a, you are a Parashad of Lord Chaitan. And that's certainly no small feat. I'm, I, I quote his Holiness Lokunath Swami, who once wrote in his homage to you on your Vyasa Puja that whenever Jaipataka Maharaj comes to Mayapur Demigods come to see him. And when he leaves Mayapur, they also leave for their respective abodes. You yourself have, and thanks to you for that have so many times revealed such immense spiritual realizations. I'm quoting his best Mahabharah Prabhu, who, when he was addressing to the UK congregation, he gave an immensely beautiful talk. And there he was talking about a vision that you had in the ICU of a hospital where people die left, right and center. And you had a vision of the Mayapur city as. As it is there in. In the spiritual realm. You saw the golden city. You met those Godbrothers of yours who have left this planet. These are sufficient indications for us to know that you are extraordinary in every sense in your physical capabilities and also in your. In your spiritual stature. So by no means can we ever capture who you are, from where does your consciousness begin and how you. How you look at things. But we time and again rejoice that in human this birth, when we took birth in this Kaliyug, we may look at 99 things in our lives and feel, oh, everything was horrible. But meeting you, seeing you, spending time with you, hearing about you, sometimes just looking at you, everything is extremely purifying. And we thank Krishna that yes, in the midst of this dark age, he, out of his causeless mercy, sent you to us. And therefore at least I can say with certainty that I would never regret that I took birth in a human body in this age of Kali because I saw you. And I'm very, very thankful to Lord Chetran that He made this arrangement that you reached out to us. We didn't reach out to you. When you go to these malls and you feign that innocence and you kill the material life of so many people. Because when people look at you, I mean you don't. You are so egoless in that sense that if someone is looking at you out of sympathy or if someone is sold on to you because of your apparent innocence, you take that humble position so that that person becomes receives auspiciousness. So you are naturally, transcendentally very, very clever, Gurumarji. And we all community devotees who are here, we are praying for you. And our prayers would not stop because as I told you, on 8th of June we stopped praying. On 9th of June we heard the news. I am again repeating, I am not establishing a correlation, but at least we must continue to reduce your inconvenience in whatever little degree we can. At least that much we can do. So kindly bless all these devotees, Guru Maharaj, who have assembled Here and also bless those who are right now listening to this via the Zoom, you know session facility that is there. And since I am currently in Ajmer, so all you are seeing is majority of them are Rajasthani housewives who are there. I would take this moment to also thank the leaders of my online community who are very very helpful and they are selflessly assisting me because somehow they feel that by assisting me they would receive your favor. So particularly In Ajmer, these four mothers have been with me since 2014 or 15 and they have remained like a pillar just to name them Her Grace Satyabhama Sadhvi Mataji, Her Grace Bhavanandani Mataji, Her Grace Nirguna Janava Mataji and Her grace. So these four devotees have built a congregation here of over 150 plus devotees and they are running their respective Bhakti Brakshas online offline as well. Besides this, devotees from the Bangalore Yatra particularly I would like to mention is Grace and Prabhu because of the kind of trust that he has exhibited in me and the large community of Janavajeevan Kripa Circle headed by His Grace Sureshwar Prabhu, His Grace Mithiladesh Prabhu, His Grace Govardhan Prabhu, His Grace Veer Krishna Prabhu and devotees like Madan Mohan Prabhu, Chitendra Prabhu, Abhinavu Ashwini Prabhu, they have all from time to time come out and help me in my service to you. Besides that there are some devotees like Dr. Ankit Bhargav, like Radhika Premu Bhakti Mataji, like Anuj Garg Prabhu from us, like Rekha Sen Mataji's family from us, particularly her children, they are very very enthusiastic. Her daughter is extremely enthusiastic. So I request Guru Maharaj that you amply bless these devotees and you empower us. That whenever we chant for you, whenever we circumambulate Tulsi Maharani for you, the hundred percent result of those rounds, those austerities reach you at this stage of your health, we request that you tweak your instruction a little for us and allow us that hundred percent result reaches out to you. Whether we circumambulate Giriraj Maharaj or we circumambulate Tulsi Maharani or any other austerity that we perform, we would like to see that you return to Mayapur. Hail and hearty. Now the kidney is not functioning so well. Dialysis has become a new normal and it's difficult for Us, it's not a very good sight to see. Tapping on one hand and dialysis on other. And you are like a fighter, continuing with your. With your high spirits as usual. All my respect to you, my Lord. We don't see people like you in this world. Who is suffering so that someone can hear about Krishna. Someone can chant Krishna's names. Someone can read about Krishna. Thank you for suffering for us and I'm sharing my realization. It's very easy to become your disciple because of your mercy. But it's very difficult to serve you because you have taken upon yourself so much that any devotee, if he ever thinks he or she, that they can do some service to you, they better review their statements. Serving you is not easy at all, at all. Because serving you means making that difference. And it's impossible to make that difference. You have taken way too much upon yourself. You will succeed on the strength of the blessing that you have from Srila Prabhupada, your willpower and mercy of Lord Krishna. We are just largely. We are a liability, we are a burden. And all we are attempting is to somehow lessen that burden by a tiny inch. But keep us because what hope do we have? Amito Kangal, Krishna, Krishna, Boli, Dhavayata, Upacharachi. So we are all poor. No divine qualities, even the demonic ones, you know, one or other keep popping up its head on us. So we are tormented. Thank you very much for being there for us. Thank you very much for giving shelter to us. And none of us sitting here, we have no doubt that if we ever go back to Lord Chaitanya, we will go back because you are taking us there. But if any of us ever thinks that we will go back on our own strength, we are not making it ever. Utterly dependent on your mercy now and forever.
