The pastimes of His Holiness Jayapataka Swami Guru Maharaj through Mahavra Prabhu who's his personal servant and looks after him when he travels the world. And also we want to do some Nasinga prayers together as a team and have a bit of Q and A as well. So we want to make it interactive. But of course when we say interactive and as you know, this meeting is now being recorded as well. So we have different devotees and yatras from around the UK who are going to facilitate certain aspects of the program. So we're going to first of all start with Japa. But before we do, those that know His Holiness Jaypatha Kaswami Gurumraj, you know he's been coming to the UK for many, many years. Even only 11 months ago on Father's Day he was here and he was wishing to come back as well this year. And as many of you know his situation, he was being in hospital and he's really pushing through right now. But we want to give that extra, extra bit of oomph with our with our chanting in Japa today. He's been coming to UK before I was born and before many of us were born. And there are some lovely pictures that we hope to show you a bit later. But for now let's all do some Japa together. There is coming on to. We have online on zoom and we have on on YouTube and Facebook over 100 people joining. So I think it'd be very nice to do that. We have God brothers and sisters on here. We have well wishes on here. We have management on here from the iskcon side. And Mahavra Prabhu has been, I would say personally, a rock in terms of the way he serves. Dear Gurumraj. He's been traveling all over the world and many of us here know him and he has intimate association with Guru Maharaj. And we're very fortunate that today we can get a. A health update of how Gumraj is and also some pastimes. He was sharing some pastimes recently with me and I was blown away. And this is our time to really come together as ISKCON community and to really try to nourish and. And go deeper in our sadhana, go deeper in our kirtan, in our bhajan, and deeper in our association relationships with each other. So we're very blessed that he's joined us today. Hare Krishna. So nice to meet all of you there. I see some of you are in a big group and Some of you are individual Indian, some of you are alone, some are in groups. I think Yatra wise from different parts of uk. Some have joined from India. My obeisances to all of you.

So I was told to update on Guru Maharaj current health and health condition as well as some pastimes. I'll try to combine both these for this evening. Many of you may be wondering why Guru Maharaj health has been very poor especially the last one year. Often devotees ask me why he is in this poor health condition even after the dual transplant took place. It has been almost six years now since the liver and kidney transplantation took place. The global standard is that you have done great if you survive the first five years without any complications post the transplantation. And in Guru Maharaj case he had, he had dual transplant which is the liver and kidney in August 2018. And in the next three months time he will complete the sixth year. As of now his liver is doing well. Because you know he's a big fellow. Liver is one of the biggest organ in our body. The kidney is, you know, small. He has, he has only one kidney and he's a very sensitive devotee. Like we have very sensitive devotees. So kidney is a very sensitive fellow. And the kidney is giving a trouble to Guru Maharaj. So the Guru Maharaj kidney function has started deteriorating since a year ago. I, I, I hope that you all remember Guru Maharaja's last visit to UK. That was somewhere around the mid of June 2023. After completing his two month of stay in US, he flew to Italy. Somewhere around the second week of June he flew to Italy. And While he was 10, on the last day, 14th of June 2023, we had a flight from Arezzo, Italy. We supposed to drive from Arezzo, Italy to Pisa. And then from Pisa we took a flight to London Heathrow. And on that day while he was honoring his lunch before taking the road trip from Arizona to Pisa to catch the flight to London, while he was having his lunch, that's the, that was the first time where he expressed that he was having nausea. He was feeling nauseated while he was having his lunch. And he said that he was also feeling very weak. And, and then he dropped his lunch and then we took him to his bed, made him to lie down and he was lying down for 30 minutes. And then we asked him if he's able to take this flight to London. Then he said let me take little rest and then I will decide. So that was the first time ever he expressed some symptoms. These are the symptoms actually where these are the symptoms when someone's kidney function is deteriorating. The symptoms are like you will feel nauseated and then you will feel very weak and you will be start retaining fluid, excessive fluid in your body. Then we came to. He managed to travel to London. And in London, I think most of you, those who are from London, you would have seen him how he was taking a lot of rest. Despite all the tight schedule, he still somehow managed. He was feeling very weak. He had this feeling of nausea most of the time. And then yet with all these symptoms he traveled to India. And then after that he was from uk. That was a. That was the first time he expressed about all the symptoms which are the symptoms of failing kidney. And then we traveled after coming, after arriving in India, he was there for the Kolkataravaitra. And then from there we had to take him to Chennai. And he was admitted there because the his condition became quite serious due to the failing kidney. And then from Chennai we came back to Mayapur. And then in September when we took him to Bangalore for the South Bangalore temple opening. After attending the festival we went to Mangalore and again he fell ill. Then again we have to admit him the month of October. Towards the end mid of October, we had admitted him again in Bangalore Hospital. He was there for another two, three weeks. And then still his health was not like. Was not the what you call the usual health that he had in the early 2023. He was quite weak throughout the month of November, December he had a plan to go to South America especially due to I think South American Australia. But due to his poor health that was delayed and went to Ahmedabad in the month of January. And there he had to be admitted again. So there was like a series especially from last July 2023 till now there was series of hospital mission. And his health was not really good actually. And we had like three or four times serious crisis. And then throughout this, throughout the God Purima festival he was also not doing well. But somehow he managed to pull down towards the end of the festival like couple of days before the God Purnima day. He was actually on the support of oxygen. He was moving around all around Mayapur with the support of oxygen. And even he went for the Abhishek on God Purima day with that. And then after that he came up to the rooftop. He was with the support of oxygen and he was seen very weak, was not able to communicate properly. But yet he hosted the dinner for all his godbrothers, Sannyasis, Prabhupada Disciples, everyone. And then he, even with that condition, he mingled around with all the devotees. And then he rested for two, three days. And then on the 30th of March, we traveled from Kolkata to Delhi to attend the safari program this year. Safari, it was something special because he had this plan of installing Lord Chaitanya Mahaprabhu's footprint all over Van. Two years ago he installed, I think two footprint in Radhakun. And therefore he wanted more footprint to be installed all around Vrindavan. And this installation of Lord Chaitanya Mahaprabhu's footprint is actually a dream project of Srila Bhaktihanta Saraswati Thakur. And during Srila Bhaktihanda Saraswati Thakur time, he managed to install, I think about 8 lotus footprint of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. And that was mostly in South India, especially in Andhra Pradesh. And he wanted to install 108. So Guru Maharaj, he took up this project that in order to fulfill the dream of Srila Bhakti SATA Saraj Pitakur. So this year they plan to install and do a huge program in Van. And therefore for that though we know that his health was wasn't good. But since this was a huge program and he really wanted to be there. So we took a calculated measure. We know that his health is failing, but we thought, okay, we will take him to Vrindavan and if something happens, then Delhi is just 3 hours drive away from Vrindavan. And we had made all the arrangements at the ILBS hospital in case something untowards happened. And on the 30th while he was flying from Kolkata to Delhi by Air India, he even mentioned to me on board, he said that the month of May I wanted to go to uk and then from UK I'll go to USA and if my health permits, I'll go to the north part of the South America. He did mention about that. So I think the UK devotees, you all know very well that this is the time that generally Guru Maharaj visits the uk, UK devotees and sometimes Europe. So yeah, he's missing that. So on the 30th of March, 30th of March, he did mention that while going from Kolkata Delhi, Kolkata to Delhi. And then on the 30th of March from Delhi, we drove straight to Vrindavan. And in Vrindavan, as soon as we reached Vrindavan, he was so tired, he didn't even want to have his dinner. He just put him, we had to like literally carry him, put him on the bed and made him to rest. And the next day, morning around 4am, that was the 31st of March devotees, those servants who are in the night shift, they woke us up, myself and Dr. Hari Guru. And then they told me, they told us that Guru Maharaj is having fever. And then we rushed into his room and sure enough he was having a very high fever and he was hardly responding. He was very weak and was coughing the whole night. And when we checked his blood pressure, his blood pressure was extremely low. So that kind of alarmed us. And we had about five doctors on the ground. Some of them came for the safari. And beside other doctors we had like Dr. Hari Guru, Dr. Amya Vrindavan, Prashanti, Rupa, Ranjeev, Nayan, mother, I think we had all these doctors, all from Guru Maharaj, the Health Forum. So they all were there and they tried their level best in order to support him, support his health so that he can remain in van and attend his full safari or at least some part of the sapat. It went on from 4am he tried our level bus to stabilize his health until 2pm 3pm Then we decided that we cannot manage his health anymore in the home setting and we have to take him to the hospital. And of course it was very sad to leave Vrindavan on that day because this project, this particular project of installing Lord Chaitanya Mahaprabhu's footprint has been one of his dream project. But somehow Krishna had different plan. And since, since we, we were not able to manage his health at, in the home setting. Then around 4pm we had to take him to Delhi and admitted him in the Institute of Liver and Bio Science and they took him straight to the ic. So that was the summary what happened. Actually that was on the 31st of March evening we were, we were in Vrindavan, I think hardly 24 hours, less than 24 hours we took him out of Vrindavan. So that was, I mean, quite a sad part of, of the old safari. But I think Krishna had a different plan. I'm still trying to get the answer for that, why Krishna has to bring him so quickly without attending the safari program. And after admitting him in the ILBs, then they found out that he was having a severe lung infection with pneumonia and kidney failure. And he was there for almost a month in the hospital from 31st March till 29th. He was discharged on 29th April. And during this one month period.

During.

His one month period, I think almost two weeks, he was in the ICU and the other two weeks he was in a normal ward and it took almost a month for, for the doctors to restore his lung function. It was that bad actually. He was really struggling, he was really struggling to breathe and, and he had to be put on dialysis for the first, I think five days or seven days. He was on a constant dialysis like it was going on for 24 hours. So that was his condition the first one week. And he was in the need of very high flow oxygen for, to support him for breathing. And generally the hospital standard is the oxygen flow meter is they used to have like up to 20, but in his case even 20 was not enough. It was so, I mean the need for his, you know, the oxygen was so high that we were start the hospital, they didn't have more than 20, so we had to go outside and look for the oxygen flow meter which is above 20. So that was his condition. He was on a constant support of high flow oxygen. And you know, despite going through, despite going through all this crisis in his life, I think many of you know how, how many health crisis and other different kind of crisis Guru Maharaj had in his life. There was series of near death experiences in his life. There was also one attempt of murder threat and you know, health crisis. If I'm, if I'm right, I think he had almost five to six near death experiences. But one thing was very prominent that despite all these crises near death experiences, yet his dedication and determination to serve Srila Prabhupada's instructions remains as steady as the Himalayas. If one carefully analyzes Guru Maharaja's entire life, you will see that whatever he has done in his life for the last 56 years, they are all centered around in serving the instruction that Srila Prabhupada had given him. And we, we have heard hundreds of times in classes or read in Sastras how the instruction of spiritual master should be considered as one's life and soul. In Guru Maharaj's life, he has practically demonstrated over the last 56 years how all these instructions that he had received from Srila Prabhupada are more than his own life and soul. His desire to serve those instructions are so powerful that he's willing to go to any extent in order to fulfill them. His desires are so strong that they even, I would say even defy death. You may think I'm exaggerating, but I'm not. If you, some of you may not have heard this, but in 1989 Guru Maharaj was attacked in Madrid and the I mean someone who was mentally unstable. He attacked him here with a knife and the cut was so deep that it was just 2 millimeter away to the jugular vein. And he almost lost his life. But in the airport, that's where, the Madrid airport, that's where this incident happened. And he took off. He took off his. The topis sannyasis, they used to wear this topis. He took off the topics and he just wrapped it around his neck and he held his neck tightly just to prevent the bleeding excessively. And then he prayed to Srila Prabhupada and the presiding deities of Sri Mayapur if it is so pleasing to them that he wished to stay on longer to fulfill Srila Prabhupada's instruction. So that was one near death experience. I remember in the year, I think it was February 2000, I was attending the Navadip Mandal Parikrama and I was just standing next to His Holiness Janananda Goswami and Lakshmi Muni Matali and they were having a conversation about, about the drama that they are going to perform depicting the pastime of Lord Chaitanya Mahaprabhu for that evening. And while they were discussing about the drama, the detail of the pastime then I think they were not really sure about the detail of the pastime. And it was Lakshmi Mani Matani who said that probably we should ask Japta Kamaraj. And it was Guru Maharaj happened to pass by just right in front of them at that point of time when, when she just finished uttering the word probably we should ask happened to pass by right in front of them. Then Lakshmi Muni Mataji said, Maharaj, you will live for 100 years. And then, and then Guru Maharaj said, well I wish I'm not expecting to leave for 100 years, but if I can leave as long as I can fulfill the instruction that Srila Prabhupada gave me, that's more than enough. And I just wanted to see the temple of Vedic planetary is up. And I have also many other instruction that Prabhupada gave me. And that's all. I'm happy now if that gets fulfilled. This is the statement that he made. He prayed in 1989 he prayed the same and in year 2000 he made the same statement. And then in on the 23rd of October 2008 when he had this life threatening one time hemorrhage stroke. Recently we had some leaders of ISKCON India visited Braj and they were even narrating this story how one very senior disciple of Guru Maharaj he was narrating how in the on that day, the morning 23rd October 2008, after they came to know that Guru Mah had a stroke, they rushed him to Hindija Hospital for admission. And after seeing all the Scans, the reports, Dr. PP Ashok, a renowned neurologist in India and he saw all these reports and said that Guruma has less than 1% chance to survive. And even if he survives, he will remain in a vegetative condition for the rest of his life. Then some of these leaders and Guru Maharaj senior disciple they thought that after listening to the comment from the doctor they thought that if this is the case then we should take Guru Maharaj to a nearby temple or Maya Purdam to facilitate his departure. And his devotee, he humbly admitted in front of Guru Maharaj on that day said that Gurma I made a foolish statement. After listening to Dr. PP Ashok on that day and Gopalina's Gopal Krishna Goswami Maharaj he became angry and refuted both their comments. Both the this devotee who made a commands that he wants to it's better to take Guru Maharaj to a nearby temple or Mahapur Dam to facilitate his departure. And also Dr. PP Asha because he said, you know, there's no point, you know, he said he has a less than 1% chance. And Gopal Krishna Maharaj got so angry and he said that let's go and meet Mr. Hindu Ja, we will speak to him. We have to do the best. Then the doctor, Dr. Ppi said that well if you want to waste your money, you can continue keeping him here in the hospital. But then Gopal Krishna Maharaj, he was not willing to give up. And he you know, took extra effort and you know, trying to get the best treatment possible for Guru Maharaj to be arranged for him in that hospital. And then the rest is history. How Guru Maharaj recovered and proved to all the doctors that there is a superpower and prayers do make a miracle. And you know, the whole world is gone. World was praying for Guru Maharaj. And after that after Guru Mahj recovered, Dr. Ppsok said that yes, God is the best doctor. He did mention about this. And after Guru Maharaj was discharged from the hospital, myself and Ekanath Prabhu and other few other servants we were upon, we kept on asking Guru Maharaj what what was he thinking while he was in coma. And we approached him multiple times asking the same but Gurumar actually refused to answer. And then at one point he said that he was praying to Srila Prabhupada and Krishna if he can be allowed to stay on to fulfill the instructions that he received from Srila Prabhupada. So this was another, you know, health crisis that he had less than 1% chance. But again, while he was in the coma he was praying for the same thing that he wants to fulfill the instruction of Srila Prabhupada. And that's the only motive that why he wanted to stay on. And, and then in May 2015 again he had another severe lung infection. So much so when we admitted him in the in a hospital in Kolkata, the doctor told us that he will not walk out of this hospital. And therefore we have to airlift him from Kolkata to Delhi and we have to admit him Delhi. And he was in Delhi, the same hospital for a month in the icu. And at one point we still remember how the doctors here, at one point they became a little hopeless in. And so much so that they even said that please have everyone pray for Swamiji and Gurma himself. After he was extubated, he did express that how at one point he saw the entire icu. He had a vision, it was not a dream. He had a vision how the entire ICU was turning into a golden city. And in that golden city he saw everything was like, you know, made out of gold, shining, you know, brilliantly, so effulgent. And he also saw his departed godbrothers and God sisters with a big smile. And they were asking him, jayaprataka, come join us, come join us. But Guru Maharaj told them that I would like to join you, but not now. Srila Prabhupada gave me many instructions and I wanted to stay back and try to fulfill them. So I will join you later. And Gurumaj did mention about this, how he had this vision, he told us while he was still in the hospital. Also after he was discharged, he was taken to Vrindavan for a few days. And in Vrindavan he did mention about this vision that he had. So that was another near death experiences. And still he wanted to stay on to serve Srila Prabhupada's instruction. And then again on the 15th of August 2018, the day when he was taken into the operation theater for the liver and kidney transplant, he had 50, 50 chance of survival. Probably a month before my Sham Rasika Prabhu and Janikaram Prabhu, they consulted a couple of the astrologists there, you know, because we were like really desperately looking for the transplantation to take place. So we were, we were clueless what's going to happen. So then when we consulted the astrologers, this was just probably a month before the transplant. And this astrologer, he has never met Guru Maharaj before. And he made a statement that this person was supposed to have left his body long ago, but he's staying for so long up to now with some borrowed time, it's like an extension of visa. And he's doing so because he has some mission. He has a very noble mission to accomplish for his spiritual master. And that's the main reason why he's staying on. And he said only prayers can help him. So he requested all the disciples to pray. And then earlier this year, earlier this year, Shamrasikapu again met another renowned astrologer. And that, that astrologer also predicted that Guru Maharaj. I just wanted to make it clear, Guru Maharaj, he generally never asked us to go and meet the astrologers. But you know, it's, it's our own effort because we wanted to know what's coming up next, you know, because you know, series of health crises. So we always wanted to know if there is something unexpected coming up. And this astrologer said there is something serious coming up in the month of March. He said, and he said that this will be very heavy, a very severe health crisis and it may even take his life out. That was the prediction he said, which even he couldn't believe it. And he calculated multiple times just to be sure that he's not wrong. But then he was keep getting the same answer. And this seriously, this particular news prompted us to consult different astrologers. And all these astrologers pretty much had the same, same answer. One thing, one thing. Although out of these three astrologers that we consulted, one of them, he has heard about Guru Maharaj's name. He knew something about Guru Maharaj. The other two, they have never heard about Guru Maharaj. But they all said something in common. They said that yes, he is going to go through one of the toughest period in his life which he had never probably he never had this before. And this may last till end of May and after that you can see a gradual improvement. But they said that anybody else in this situation would have left their body. But this person, he has a noble desires. He has a noble desires which make him to be very determined to stay alive. Unless he gives up his desire, he will not leave his body. So pretty much all the, the three astrologers that Shamrase consulted, they all had the Same opinion that he has. He's holding on to a very strong desire that he wanted to stay on. And for this noble desire is I think all of you know very well. And they all said that please, you all have to pray for him. And after this we, after Guru Mah was transferred, shifted from ICU to a normal world. We approached Gur Maharaj and we explained to him that we consulted your astrologers and this is what they said. And then we asked Gurmaj, what do you think about this? Then he was silent for a minute and said, yes, they are right. So this is it. He's a person who is, you know, the only reason why he's dragging on holding to his life, I would say, I mean I mentioned before. Defying the death is desire defies the death. This is the power of the desire to serve Srila Prabhupada's instructions. It can even defies death. And beside all this consultation with astrologers, we had one godbrother of Guru Maharaj. This happened after swelling as Gopal Krishna Maharaj left his body departed to the spiritual world. Many of Guru Maharaj, godbrothers, God sisters and devotees around the world, they were quite concerned. And knowing that Guru Maharaj health was also not good. So this particular godbrother of Guru Maharaj is a Guru Sannyasi. He also wanted to check with his astrology. And we told him that we have already checked and we all have the same opinion. He said, no, no, I wanted to check, please let me check. I said okay Maharaj, you can go. And Maharaj consulted his astrologer and his astrologer said pretty much the same this. He said that this person has already left his body. And this was astrologer. He doesn't know who Guru Maharaj is. And he said he already left his body. And if he's still alive, that's miracle. According to my calculation, he has already left his body and if he's still alive, that's miracle. So this is what it is in Srimad Bhagavatam. That is a very beautiful verse. I will try to pull that out later. Let me see if I can get that. Yeah, here it is. Everyone, everyone is sure to die. For no one is excused from the hands of death which is but a feature of the supreme personality of Godyu Sarvahara. When one becomes a devotee, however, he is not destined to die according to a limited duration of life. Everyone has a limited duration of life. But a devotee's lifetime can be extended by the mercy of the Supreme Lord who is able to nullify the results of one's Karma. Karmani Nirdhati Kintu Chabhakti Bhajam. This is the statement of Brahma Samhita 5:54. A devotee is not under the laws of Karma. Therefore even a devotee's scheduled death can be avoided by the causeless Master of the Supreme Lord. God protects the devotee even from the extreme danger of death. This is From Srimad Bhagavatam 71029 the purport. So this is what it is. And Guru Maharaj has strong desire. It's not something new for him. This has been as I said, this has been his life mission to fulfill the instruction of Srila Prabhupada the last 56 years. I mentioned this the beginning of my speech and I'm mentioning it again. That the last 56 years every single activities that he did, every single services that he did for the last 56 years and that he is planning to do everything is centered around the instructions that Srila Prabhupada gave him. His entire life and soul is dedicated for that. And he still with all these difficulties, austerities that he's going through, he's still so determined to serve Srila Prabhupada. This is what it is. And Srila Prabhupada was the same Srila Prabhupada. Srila Bishat gave Srila Prabhupada two main instruction. Go to the west and preach and if you have money, print books. Prabhupada took that as his life mission. Prabhupada went through so many difficulties, life threatening situation. Yet Krishna was there personally taking care of him and made everything impossible to possible. So the same situation here Guruma is also on. He can you know, defy his desire, his strong desire to serve Guru Mahla Prabhupada that is defying the when the death on the 8th of 8th of April while Gurma was in the ICU, still in the ICU we had his Holiness Evaram son visited Guru Maharaj and he was there for almost 20:30 minutes. He came. Maharaj came in and that he did some personal service for Guru Maharaj and also sat down and Sankir Khan for Guru Maharaj. And when he came out of the ICO he said. He said that I don't think so. I can count the number of tubes that going into Guru Maharaj body because he was in like almost like crucified on the bed with all kind of tubes and machines. All around him. And Maharaj said that after he came out of icu, he said that I have not seen anyone who has such a strong willpower to stay on and keep serving postula pro. I'm not sure if I'll see one, he said. And then, and then we will start walking towards the exit of the icu. And then he asked me, is everyone worried about his condition? And I said, Maharaj, yes, till yesterday, because that was a situation, though we were hopeful that he will make it. But there were times where we were quite doubtful also, which really put us in a deep worry. And we told Maharaj. I told Maharaj that today, since early morning he has managed to get himself ready for physio, told us to make him to sit and stood for 30 seconds. And then Maharaj also said that after listening to me, Maharaj said, if there is a superman, that's him, he is the real superman, he said. And then beside, beside all this we also had. After Gurmai was shifted from ICU.

Then.

He was in the normal ward for another two weeks. And then he was discharged on 29 April. And then we took him out of the hospital. We brought him to a nearby apartment. The apartment is five minutes drive from the hospital. And he was all good for two days. And then on the 1st of April, so I think it was 2nd of May, 2nd of May, suddenly he collapsed. Collapsed in the sense that he was not able to speak a word and he was not even opening his eyes, not eating, not drinking. He could understand what we were speaking. But he was like his health deteriorated so rapidly that his condition was like so bad. This happened after this, after getting him discharged from the hospital for two days he was okay. And then on the 2nd of May, again he collapsed. Then that was on the 2nd of May, and then he was in the similar condition on the third, and then on the fourth and on the fifth of May, that is the day when Solina Gopal Krishna Maharaj departed to the spiritual world. And that day we had to. We had to take Guru Maharaj back to the hospital because he was keep deteriorating and we have to readmit him. The hospital and many of his godbrothers, many senior leaders, they all attended the samadhi ceremony, obviously Gopal Krishna Maharaj and after that they all made a visit because they all were very concerned about Guru Maharaj because they heard what happened Guru Maharaj, that he was admitted in the hospital and he was okay. Then he was discharged and within two days again he collapsed. And then he was like Hardly responding to anyone for three days, not eating, not opening his eyes. So that created a big, what you call anxiety in everybody's mind. So after completing the Samadhi ceremony they all rushed to Delhi. We had His Holiness Guru Prasad Maharaj. We had. We had many of Guru Maharaj senior disciples who visited Guru Maharaj and Guru Maharaj told them all the same thing. He had Janani master also. He told Guru Prasad Maharaj and Janani was before that. I. I just wanted to stay on to make sure the TOEP comes up and I wanted to. Prabhupada gave me many others instruction that you know, to unite the Gauriumat and many, many other instructions. So I just wanted to stay on to complete, try to fulfill those instructions. And we have, we also had Vaidavya Priya Maharaj Gurmaj told him the same thing that he wanted to stay on just to fulfill those instructions he received from Srila Prabhupada Kavichandra Swami. He told them all the same thing, nothing else. That is the only mission why he wants to sleep. This is his only purpose. The reason why I narrated this entire history from 1989 till now. In all the crises that he went through, he has only one role in his life. That is, he just wanted to stay on to make sure that instruction that Prabhupada gave him a fulfillment. That is a life mission. As I said, we have heard from Sastra, we have heard many classes where the instruction of spiritual masters. We have to take the instruction of spiritual masters as our life and soul. But here is a practical demonstration of a disciple how he has dedicated, how he has taken the instruction of his spiritual master Srila Prabhupada. More than his own life. Here is the practical demonstration for all of us for the entire ISKCON world. So I will. How much time do I have?

Hare Krishna Mahavra Prabhu, you have all the time in the world for you. We are, we are so grateful. The way you have so eloquently put how Gumraj is really just about serving Srila Prabhupada and you know, his whole life and soul has been put in that way. Thank you so much. There are some questions coming through and is it okay just to ask maybe for five minutes some questions. Mahabhara Prabhu, is that okay?

Yeah. I'll tell you one small pastime probably please. I, I did mention the beginning that how he was in need of a very high flow oxygen. Even hospital had the, you know, the flow meter. It was only up to 20 liter per hour. But you know, even that was not enough to support him. At one point and our doctors were in, our Dr. Hariguri was telling us, please get if there is something more than 20 liter, please go and get this flow meter outside from the pharmacy. That was his Guru Maharaj condition. I remember on the 1st of April, because he was in need of high flow oxygen and Kuruma had a mask which was put on him to support him for breathing. And due to this high flow oxygen, that mask gave up. And that gave up. I'll tell you, on the 1st of April, when we were in the hospital, one of Guru Maharaj disciple, he's an astrologer, he always checks even without asking. So he called us around 10 at night. He called us and he said, Prabhu, be very careful. I mean he said that I heard Guru Maharaj was admitted in the icu. Is it true? I said yes. Then he said, prabhu, somehow Guru Maharaj horoscope is changing around 2:30 in the morning. Be very careful. And you may expect something serious. And it is something to do with this breathing. So that kind of, you know, caused greater anxiety for us. And then exactly at around 2:30 in the morning, as I said, due to the high flow oxygen, high pressure, the mask that he was having that broke. And imagine 2:30 in the morning. And the hospital didn't have the mask that which suits Guru Maharaj for breathing. Hospital didn't have mask the exact mask that which suits Guru Mah. And we tried all the other masks from the hospital. Nothing worked. Nothing was able to support him. And then we tried, you know, putting a tape around the mask, still didn't work. Then we had to call our servants, the temple, go around and hunt for this mask in any pharmacy, 24 hours pharmacy. And meanwhile we were like literally holding on to the mask. We have to hold the mask together for almost three and a half hours. We were taking turn and holding the mask like this just to make him to breathe. That was the situation. And around 6:30, we got the mask and then we put a new mask for Gur Maharaj. And then that kind of helped him. And on the 2nd of April, on the 1st of April, you know, there was a big fight. Fight in the sense we were like literally fighting there. The I, you know, the doctors were really fighting to keep him, you know, to keep him breathing proper. On 2 April, he felt a little better. So he started telling, started telling the doctor, Dr. Sarin that he wants to go to Pravan because that's the time the safari was going on. And whenever he felt little better. Take me to Vrindavan. Take me to Vrindavan. That was his, you know, though his body was in the icu, but he was only thinking about going to Vrindavan. And then at one point, I remember, I think it was on the 3rd, 3rd of April, if I'm not mistaken, he was telling the servants, go and get my phones. Don't tell Mahabharaha Vaitanath, don't tell them, but go and get my phone. Bring the phones. I wanted to attend meetings. You see the mood that, you know, though his body was in such a condition, but his mood is boy. His mind is always thinking about how to serve Srila Prabhupada, you know, each time he was feeling a little better. Take me to Rundown. Telling the doctor, telling the Guru Maharaj, personal doctor, telling the servants, asking about what's happening in Vrindavan, which places they went today. And then wanted to attend the meetings. You know, when he felt a little better, when he. When he was like a little conscious. So that was, you know, that has been his mood always. You know, he just doesn't think about his body but constantly thinking about how to. And his instructions.

Wow.

Yeah. So there's a lot more to tell. But I'll tell you some other day we can ask.

Okay. It's on the 15th of May 2024. So myself, Shyam, Rasika Prabhu and our Dr. Hari Guru and the morning servants, shift servants, they were Gurungapur and others. They all were there. And this is when it happened. This morning, after his duties and physiotherapy session, Guru Maharaj told us he wanted to lie down for a short nap. Upon waking, he began speaking about Navadip Mantal Parikrama. For the first couple of minutes, the doctors and servants around Guru Maharaj tried to grasp what he was saying. Then he realized he was describing his dream. Intrigued, we listened attentively as he narrated a remarkable transcendental experience of traveling around Navdeep Mandala. In his dream, he explained that he had this dream twice. The first was yesterday on 14th May 2024 while he was in the dialysis. The second was today during his short nap after the physiotherapy session. So now I'll explain about the dream he had. On the 14th of May, he dreamt of traveling around Navadip Mandal Parikiramam conducting special research on how to further develop the Navadip Mandala. He was searching the exact locations of Vaikunthapur, Hidragpur and Saptarishi Tila in Madhyamdewip. He also noted that the Koladweep M site wasn't looking good and needed some upgrades. And then the dream on 15 May 2024, during his short nap today he had a similar dream. In this dream he was engaged in cleaning and restoring Vasudev Dutta's birthplace or house in Bangladesh. From there he traveled to Vidyanagar in Navadip Dam through a newly discovered shorter route than the usual long one near the school in Vidyanagar. He felt he should plant a Banyan tree and worship it because Lord Ram had a pastime there because the original banyan tree had fallen due to a lightning strike. From there he went to the Parikrama campsite located near the school. He also visited Radhakun and Shamkund in Navarib Dam which appeared the same as in Vrindavan. Guru Maharaj expressed a desire to create similar Agha Kon and Shankund in Navadi as well as Pushka Theta. This was his dream. And then Shamrasikapuru who was listening to the narration. Then Guru Maharaj said after describing about the dream he said Guru Maharaj then told us the solution is to get the Mausa map, the divisional map from the government and check the Google maps Shamrasikhaprabhu who was listening to the narration recalled Guru Maharaj, you have spoken about the Lukta Tirthas, the hidden holy places during Srinavadi Mandal Parikrama. For many years these places were personally visited by Srila Bhaktivnoth Thakur and Srila Bhakti Stanta Saraswati Thakur. During the parikramas you specifically mentioned Saptari, Shetila, Vaikunthapur etc. Guru Maharaj then told Sham Rasekharpuru why Kuntapur must be before Janudur. This falls in Pura Berdman district. Check the Mozas divisions and under the Purva Burdman district. We checked and found these two Mausers division do fall under Purva Badhuman. Anyway, this goes and I. I can post this in the. The reason why we read about this dream narrated about the dream that he had is also what you call explaining a self explanation of how what is going on in his mind. Because this is one of the instruction that Srila Prabhupada gave to develop Navadi Mandalam. So this is his mindset. What is going on in his mind even while he is in the hospital.

It's amazing to see how Guru Ma is always constantly thinking number one about how to help Mahpudam. Also how to expand the visions of Srila Prabhupada in in Mayapuram as well. And so one devotee is asking Ahana Sit Mataji. She's asking what is the. What is the approximate time Gurumaj can arrive back in Shan Mayapur? Also the online Diksha program. When does that look like it may start? That's what they're asking.

So yeah, right now Guru Maharaj is, is doing much better than what he was two weeks ago. He's going through a very active rehabilitation. At least two hours of physio in the morning specifically. Well, I mean especially for the lungs. And also right now he is going for a dialysis and this dialysis is happening twice a week. And at the same time we are also setting up new facilities. The my hospital is under construction. They are building a 100 bed hospital and trying to complete the construction as soon as possible. And the dialysis unit. Meanwhile, while the 100 bed hospital is getting ready a temporary setup of a dialysis unit is already in place. Of course we also need some expertise to handle those machines and especially to handle Guru Maharaj's health issues. So we most likely we will be here for another 10 days or two weeks and then we might after that we'll go to my said this that the first place I wanted to travel from Delhi is my. And he's been. He's been keep on saying that he wants to go to my take me to my house and yeah so we're just getting things ready in Mayur. It's almost ready but he needs to do couple more treatment here in Delhi and then after that we'll be going to my. So it's about 10 days to two weeks tentatively.

It's not an offense as long as you are ready fulfilling all the requirements that is there in the initiation questionnaires. It is not an offense at all.

There we go. So there's everyone's at least if it's in other people's hearts that the anonymous devotee that asked that that was very nice. So the last final question for you is apart from the vows to uphold and the chanting that we should all do the minimum of 16 rounds, is there anything else that especially the disciples and well wishers can do right now upon apart from doing the prayers here that we should all be thinking about? That's my final question.

Yeah. Right now we need all the disciples well wisher of Guru Maharaj to be praying for him praying for his good health as Guru Maharaj wanted to really stay on despite all the, you know, certain things. It's ineffable, you know, it's beyond word to describe the kind of difficulties, austerities that he's going through just to, you know, fulfill the instruction of Srila Prabhupada. And we as a disciples, we should, you know, try to follow the four of the principles and 16 rounds and pray for his good health. And also during the initiation, Gurumaj always asks his disciples that are you willing to help me in order to fulfill the instruction that Srila Prabhupada gave me? And we take that as also as a vow. So to whatever extent we can possible, we should also help Guru Maharaj. You know, in. I remember about 10 years ago, we were in Tirupati. One morning, as soon as he woke up, he called me and then he said that get a pen and paper. And then he started telling all the instructions that Srila Prabhupada gave him. Right from the time he met till Srila Prabhupada departed. Aside from a very simple instruction like get me a rose which will give me a. Give me longevity, that's one simple instruction proper gave him in the beginning days of Guru Maharaj spiritual life till I give you the kingdom of Mayapur and you develop that. So from very simple instruction to a very magnificent instructions, Guru Maharaj remembers every single instruction that Srila Prabhupada gave. And he gave. He narrated all this instruction. He said, write it down. And he narrated all these instructions in a chronological order right from the time he met Prabhupada until Prabhupada departed from this world. So imagine that's the kind of love, dedication and surrender he has to the words of the spiritual master. He remembers every single thing even up to today. So that means he has taken that into his heart. That shows his surrender and love for Srila Prabhupada's instruction. And that's why he's giving. He's honoring those instructions more than his life. So much so he's still, you know, as I said, defying the death.

Amazing.

So yes, our duty is to pray for his good health and try our level best. Try to help Guru Maharaj to fulfill those instructions. There are varieties of instruction that he has received. And later on probably we can send an email. You can write in whichever way that you wanted to help. You can, you know, see how you can help.

Any kind of austerities, any amount of austerities just to stay on, to fulfill the desires in instruction program. You know, you can literally see if you see him how much he struggles in the icu. There were times that I even thought, I mean, it is just not worth. You know, I even thought that should we even pray that requesting Krishna for him to stay on because it's just too much, you know, to see him sometimes suffering like that, apparently. Suffering. You know, I used to think whether we should be still requesting Krishna, you know, for him to stay on like this. But then his desire is so strong that he is willing to go any amount of austerities just to fulfill Prabhupada's instructions. There's a very nice verse which I came across couple of days ago. I'll just end with this verse. It says that. It is said that great personalities almost always accept voluntary suffering because of the suffering of people in general. This is considered the highest method of worshiping the supreme personality of God who is present in everyone's heart. Wow. Hare Krishna.

So this first prayer is the Dhanvantri Mantra prayer and we are doing it full round of this prayer and then we will be doing Narasimha Kavach actually.
