This is regarding the planets in the universe. There are trillions of planets in this universe. And according to the calculation of the materialistic scientists beside the earth, other planets don't get enough sunlight. Therefore not suitable for life. Unless perhaps another sun in another galaxy. Now we learn from the Vedas that there is only one sun in the universe. And there must be thousands of planets in the middle planetary system similar to Earth. Yet it seems that there is not another earthly planet in this solar system. How do we understand the sunlight goes reaching other planets.

It's reaching here. So it's reaching all the planets. But some of them are too close. But see, they only know life like we know it. They. They don't. Although you know, now they're finding more and more deeper they go in the ocean, they find some kind of far out creatures there. There's certainly no sunlight ever reached them. But they're living it's terribly cold. The pressure, you know, would break any of us. Any sort of submarine. So when the scientists, they're thinking of life, they're thinking of, you know, what they see with their eyes here, right? So according to the Bhagavatam, there is at the outer edges of the universe where the sun doesn't go, but there's maybe no life there. But otherwise there's life, some kind of life everywhere, but not like our. If your body can only live on Earth, you know, so far, you know, they haven't been able to surgically adopt someone so they can just live on the moon, to just so called walk on the moon. They have to have like such a special suit and air tanks and so many things, you know, because this is suitable for our kind of body. But there's many kinds of bodies and the scientists can't see them. There's microscopic bodies here nobody can see. There's life everywhere on this planet. There's life in the fire, you know, right? There's life in the deep, deepest parts of the ocean where there's no sunlight ever got anywhere near it.

And it's completely black, dark.

They used to think that when you. When you heat something to a very high temperature, then everything is killed. But wasn't long ago they discovered there are many. There's other living entities which survive even in intense heat. And it changed the whole approach about sterilization. And it shows us also that there can be living entities on the sun planet. And certainly we understand there's a sun God and there's living entities there.

Their bodies are made out of fire, so they don't burn.

And Prabhupada gave the example about opium that it's a drug, it's a poison. But there's a living entity which lives in the opium. And there's a living entity even which lives in marble in the marble stone.

They even found some kind of bacteria in the Dead Sea recently where they always thought no life could live. So we can't understand it. That's another thing. It's a chincha. It's inconceivable, and we can't understand it. We can just accept, you know, what the scripture says and kind of understand how the scientists are wrong because they don't all agree either. Some say there must be many planets and have same life like us. And some say there is none. And then all the science fiction, all the Star wars and Star Trek, they have life all over the place. Different kind, mostly Rakshasas, but, you know, some kind of Idea that there's some kind of civilization, there's some kind of. All right, okay.

My question is like, when the Bhagavad Gita say Krishna, Krishna says, like, you know, surrender unto me, you know, do chant the Mahamantra, you know, and take Prashad, you know, and so that you can be happy, you can be satisfied and your health can be good, you know, Even Prabhupada said like, you know, in the purport, we have to take Mahaprashad for our health and everything. But you find some sometimes in the. In the world devotees. Some devotees, when they chant, they follow the process, they undergo a lot of depression, they have unhealthy issues. You know, it's like you can find. It's affecting some devotees worse than other non devotees. So what's the issue? What's the biggest problem? Like, what's the biggest issue with that? If you find devotees like they chant, they are happy, but they still undergo depression and all that. So what's the problem?

Not for you, depression.

Depression means you're identifying with the body, with the material world. So yes, you feel depressed. Devotees, if you just simply think I'm the body, then certainly it's very depressing because you're going to die, you're going to lose everything. So there's nothing to live for. So yes, that's why people commit suicide. They don't see any purpose in life. So depression comes because of ignorance, because of identifying with the material body. So even though they may be chanting Hare Krishna, they're not chanting properly. They're not chanting with the full understanding of the holy name and their spiritual identity. So people need to be. They need association, they need encouragement, they need guidance. Everyone, we all need it. And we need association with other devotees. We become enlivened being with devotees. You see, people become depressed. The number of people who become depressed is very small compared to the number of people who become jok. So many other devotees are there. They're joyful, they're happy. In Ka consciousness, there may be some very strange, unusual personality who's very recluse. He doesn't like to associate. So he may be depressed because of his deep bodily conception.

Yeah, this things, it's not like it just happened overnight when they became devotees. I remember when I joined, many devotees were joining and they had been big meat eaters until they joined. And then many would get really sick, you know, from the withdrawal symptoms from the meat because the meat has so many in America anyway, so many chemicals and everything. So some would understand this purification process and ride through it. And others would think, oh, this is no good, I have to leave. You know, you have to check where, you know, we get people joining that, you know, had serious depression or taking antidepressant medicine and nobody knows they join, they give up the medicine and then after a while comes out. So. But like you said, mostly people that join get much better, you know, from their people. But we all have our karma that we're carrying with us.

Because when I do, I can do.

You know, they think that just because I'm chanting now, I don't have my body anymore. I don't to have my past karma. No still there. It may be reduced. Have to help people have those problems in the group.

Hare Krishna. I was wondering at which point we will be able to see everything in connection with Krishna. Does it take years of practice? Does it take years take. When does it come? What do you have to do? Because sometimes when you're. When you're doing parikrama, it's easy to think, to see. When you're with devotees, it's easy to see everything connected with Krishna. But there are other times when you just can do that. Thank you.

Well, when Krishna decide when you give up thinking of things not relation to Ka, that means we, you know, we keep reading the Bhagavad Gita, keep reading Srimad Bhagavatam, keep practicing. But it's not like you can say, okay, three years, you get your degree, then you can see everything. It depends on our desire and our purity, how much we're really surrendering, letting things go. So can't say, you know, some people it's very quick. Some people it's many lifetimes. But gradually, gradually every devotee is seeing things more and more relation to God Krishna.

Krishna said, as you surrender unto me, I reward you accordingly. So it's really up to us how much we want to see everything in relation to Krishna. When you're with the devotees, you don't have that problem, you said, so stay with the devotees, be more with the devotees, then the problems are over.
