Short excerpt from a YouTube spiritual discourse ("The Most Powerful Mantra. #JayapatakaSwamiArchives") in which the speaker explains that the name "Ram/Rama" is extraordinarily potent — equivalent to thousands of other divine names — and that the 16-word Hare Krishna/Hare Rama mantra destroys difficulties, impurities, diseases, and kala-una (kali-yuga afflictions). The speaker urges chanting the Hare mantra.

Puranas is a verse that says Sahasanamitulla vis One name of Ram is equal to a thousand names of Lishtom. Lishto names are like the name of God and his creature as controller as all the race of all the horrible, etc. Ram is a very special name. And Ka, it says that name is 3,000 names of wisdom. So the Hare Ka Hari rama mantra, the 16 words are destroyed that they destroy all the difficulties, all the pollutions, all the diseases, all the Kalyuna. So we should all chant Hare Ka.
