H.H. Jayapataka Swami explains why chanting the holy names is the most powerful spiritual practice. He tells stories of devotees like Haridas Talbor and Haya Sagar who chanted up to 20 hours daily, and describes how Krishna intervened to save someone during an execution. Sincere desire for devotion matters more than wealth or status.
Lord Chaitanya told Haridas Talbor they're worried about Hayabanas. How are they can hide us at all? If that's happened by our peak then if they chant oh Haram Haram I said. I say oh my dear Lord Ram Haram Alaro accidentally unconsciously chant. I was thinking how special you all are in chant Daniel Hari. I chant every day sending number around. Of course Haya Sagar would chant 12 times per day more than we do. But he was trying to like Chaitanya. I have no quality because I don't remember you. He doesn't remember Krishnam. He almost chants 20 hours a day. He teaches us by him being so humble. He actually follows the third verse of the Shiksha More humble than the greater us. He was really humble and Hari nasal. He was indeed in 22 martyr crisis. He was praying. Krishna came to Pantaichanya and said I came with a Siddhartha chakra in my hand. I only killed those executioners. You were praying. I don't forgive this. So I couldn't kill them. So I did the hits on my back. He shot him back and then he made me mother back. I got such a pain in it. Some people say hi to us is the Odatara of Brahmadev. Some say he's Bilal Maharaj. But of course third so he believed anyway he wanted to see the number of the voyage increase. I thought we all want Islam raised the Leo. They want to increase the number of devotees. And we know that unless you have strong Greek or desire for Lord of Ka they want having money, having big house, having any kind of material position or it's of no use having a strong desire to serve and mount Ka. That's all that follows.
