A short transcript excerpt from a devotional YouTube video titled "We Should Cry For Krishna" (Jayapataka Swami Archives). Two speakers deliver a devotional salutation and discuss the importance of emotional sincerity during chanting: that devotees should cry for Krishna and that failing to do so indicates a hardened or fallen heart.

So I want to elder your very new improved devotional source. And thank you very much for giving us time to think about how we can make this year the best year ever by giving this year in our Ka consciousness. Hare Ye Vohav Hare Krishna.
We should be crying for Krishna Every time we chant we should be crying for Krishna. If we're not crying for Ka while we're chanting, we should know that our heart is very hard, we are very fallen. Therefore when we say Krishna instead of our heart melting, you're staying like a rock, we should be feeling so sad.
