A short excerpt from a May 2024 devotional discourse (YouTube) in which one speaker asks “What is the meaning of love of Krishna?” and another answers by contrasting mundane loves (ice cream, movies) with a transcendental, intrinsic love for Krishna—arguing that souls are part of Krishna and naturally inclined to love Him, and by invoking Lord Caitanya and his manifestation as Bala Krishna to illustrate devotional sentiment.

Please accept my respectful obeisances. All glory to Srila Prabhupada. Thank you for your blessings. What is the meaning of love of Krishna?
In the material world we love different things. Some people love ice cream, some people love movies. What is real love? Actually we are part of Krishna. It's natural for us to love Ka and we love various parts of that incident. Actually Lord Krishna, the supreme personality of things that you want to serve him and that your familiar sword in his transcendental form. I don't think it can be explained so simply. In a few words we can see how the devotees of Lord Caitanya and how Lord Caitanya south manifested Bala Krishna. They said picture is worth a thousand orbs and pastimes of Lord Chaitanya More than a thousand persons.
