Jayapataka Swami teaches that Lord Chaitanya cannot be reached through wealth, relations, or learning, only through devotional service. The key is offering service with the intention of pleasing Krishna, like choosing a gift that suits someone you love.

Alike wealth, brothers and learning. One cannot attain Lord Chaitanya. He can only be controlled by the Bhakti Vasa. By the manner of devotional service. This is what all the shitzas sing. We think that we're doing this seva for the pleasure of Ka and that's refocused on Krishna. Like if you're buying a gift for your loved one on say, Christmas or birthday or whatever, then that's when you're buying the thing and thinking, what does that person like? Does he play into him or her like that? We should bring the service in such a way that Krishna will be pleased.
