Hey there. Welcome back to the Prompt. I'm your host Jim Carter and today we're chatting about the insane jump forward for AI video creation. It's amazing how far we've come in just a short time. It feels like we've progressed two years in the last two weeks alone. AI video technology is making big headway and changing how we create and watch video content. We're talking production automation, personalization of content and enhanced accessibility. By simplifying tasks like editing so script writing and animation, it lowers barriers for creators and businesses while cutting costs and saving time. And now it's accelerating at warp speed. Major players like OpenAI have launched new AI video tools with startups close behind. In fact, the AI video market is expected to grow from $534 million in 2023 to a huge 2.56 billion by 2032. That's massive. These new AI tools are making video creation faster, easier and more accessible than ever before. Using you can now whip up high quality videos in literal minutes without needing a Hollywood budget or a full production team. It's pretty incredible. Think about how you could create B roll for content or tutorial videos for your channel. You could even whip up animations for storytelling, add motion to still photos, convert static concepts into life and style shift your videos from one theme to another. Pretty cool, right? And that's just a few ideas. OpenAI's Sora produces high definition videos up to 1080p and can generate clips up to 20 seconds long. If you're a ChatGPT plus or Pro user, it's definitely worth giving it a try. Now that accounts are finally available again@sora.com Hyluo is another favorite I've been testing. Their quality is top notch and you can get a lot of value from their free tier. Let's not forget about Runway, a next generation video editing platform that has secured almost a quarter billion in funding to date and is one of the leaders in generative video. I've also been playing around with Invideo. If you haven't tried this one yet, the best part about it is that it lets you create full end to end videos from a single prompt and handling everything from the storyboard to the voiceover. I highly recommend giving it a try. If you're anything like me, you'll enjoy experimenting with them and exploring new possibilities. They're perfect for anyone who wants to create but doesn't have a film crew at their disposal. And honestly, they make creating content for YouTube or Instagram a lot less overwhelming as you can see you have options depending on your needs. Of course, as these tools become more widespread, we need to be careful about how we use them. Have you ever stumbled across a deepfake? I saw one not too long ago that was so convincing it took me a moment to realize it wasn't real. The misuse of tools for deepfakes, misinformation and unauthorized cloning of voices or faces poses risks to privacy and authenticity. Even though AI is likely to increase jobs and opportunities, we could still see automation displace creative jobs. While overproduction of AI generated content may lead to saturation and diminished value for video media, not to mention biases in AI datasets and lack of clear legal frameworks around copyright and liability create challenges in ensuring fair representation and accountability. So how do we make the most of these tools without crossing the line? For me, it's about boosting creativity and efficiency while keeping integrity at the forefront. What about you? Have you thought about using AI video tools or are you already they're becoming more user friendly every day, so now is the perfect time to jump in. I been using AI to create short video content, experimenting with new ways to share ideas visually. It's been great. It's a really fun and rewarding process. And hey, if you want to explore this further with me and a community of other AI curious, I'd love for you to join my Fast Foundation Slack group. It's where I share all the latest tools and strategies I'm seeing in the AI space and it's a great place to connect with like minded folks who are just as excited about this stuff as we are. You can sign up@fastfoundations.com Slack I'd be thrilled to have you be a part of the conversation and to help you stay on top of all the changes happening in AI. As always, thanks for tuning in.
