Jim Carter tests new AI graphics tools from Cling, Canva, and Microsoft that are changing how people make visual content. He walks through what each tool does and why it matters for creators.
Hey there. Welcome back to the Prompt. I'm your host, Jim Carter and today we're talking about some seriously impressive developments in AI powered graphics. In just the past few weeks, we've seen big releases from Cling, Canva and Microsoft that are changing what's possible with visual creativity. Let's start with cling 2.0. This AI video generator is producing outputs that look like they came straight out of a Hollywood studio. We're talking fluid motion, realistic physics, and the ability to control complex scenes with multimodal prompts. It's not just about generating a video, it's about directing a cinematic experience. And get this, cling 2.0 is already being used by over 22 million people worldwide. Creators are excited about how it's allowing them to produce dynamic, professional grade content that previously would have required a whole VFX team. This is making high end video production available to everyone in a big way. But CLING isn't the only one making waves. Canva just released their Visual Suite 2.0 and it's a design playground like no other. They've combined creativity and data into one powerful platform. You can create presentations, videos, whiteboards, even full websites, all powered by AI. Their new AI enhanced spreadsheet tool, Canva Sheets, doesn't just crunch numbers. It uses what they call Magic insights to automatically analyze your data and turn it into engaging visuals. No more staring at boring charts. Canva is making data storytelling easy for everyone. And with their Magic Studio feature, you can generate full scale on brand campaigns in minutes. Canva's even introduced a feature called Canva Code that lets you create interactive widgets just by describing what you want, no coding required. This is a big deal for teams and businesses looking to grow their visual content. But perhaps the most futuristic of these releases comes from Microsoft. Their Copilot AI can now visually interpret your screen thanks to a new feature called Copilot Vision. Imagine being able to ask AI to summarize a webpage, explain a complex app interface, or guide you through a creative workflow, all based on what it sees on your screen. This is contextual AI help on a whole new level. For anyone in content creation, marketing, education, or really any field that relies on visual communication, these tools aren't just time savers. They're expanding what we can do. They're allowing us to imagine and create in ways that simply weren't possible before. I've been testing out Cling and Canva's new features this week, and the possibilities are endless. Want a cinematic promo video? Done. Need a presentation document and website that all match your brand? Easy. How about AI that can explain your data and generate custom visuals for it? No problem. These tools are putting professional grade creation in the hands of everyone, but they're also pushing us to rethink what's possible. With AI as our creative partner, we can spend less time on the technical execution and more time on the ideas, the stories, the things that truly connect with our audiences. So whether you're a seasoned creator or just starting to explore design and video, I highly encourage you to check out these new releases, experiment, play and see what you can come up with. The barriers to creating stunning visuals are lower than ever and the potential is limitless. As always, I'd love to hear your thoughts on these developments. How are you using AI in your creative process? What new possibilities do these tools open up for you? Let's keep this conversation going.
