Hey everyone, welcome back to the prompt. Jim Carter here. And today we're diving into how ChatGPT and generative AI are shaking things up in ways we've never seen before. If you've been paying attention, you know we're talking about some serious shifts. Since ChatGPT launched, Big Tech companies have seen their value skyrocket by a staggering $8 trillion. That's trillion with a T, the equivalent of Japan's entire GDP injected straight into Silicon Valley. It's not just about the money though. It's about what this means for innovation, moving markets and opportunity. I remember when AI felt like something out of a sci fi movie. Any chance you remember Skynet? Well, if you weren't around in the 90s, it was the world's first self aware AI in the Terminator movies. And now within one lifetime, it's here, evolving every single day and touching every industry you can imagine, from healthcare, to finance, education, and even entertainment. And let's be real. While it's exciting, it's also easy to feel left behind when all the headlines focus on big corporations. But AI isn't just for the tech giants. It's leveling the playing field and the door is wide open for you to get in on the action. Let's break this down a little further. AI isn't just a tool, it's a seismic shift. Generative AI like ChatGPT is being called the biggest technological change since the iPhone. And for good reason. While Big tech has gained $8 trillion since ChatGPT launched, AI isn't confined to tech anymore. It's fueling innovation in every industry, reshaping markets and redefining possibilities. Investor confidence is at an all time high because AI's potential isn't just theoretical, it's being realized in real time. Take health care for example. AI is being used to predict patient outcomes, streamline reimbursements and tailor treatments to individual genetics. Over in education, teachers are using AI to personalize learning for students while offloading administrative work like grading and lesson planning. But what about small businesses and entrepreneurs? That's where, in my opinion, things get really exciting. Let's talk about the practical, actionable ways AI can help you. As an entrepreneur or small business owner at my agency, Bara AI, we've been using AI to automate the mundane and free up time for what matters most. Here's an example. Every Friday, our CTO retainer clients get a detailed update on what we worked on, what's coming next and and what we need from them. It's an essential part of our commitment to over communicate. But let's be honest, it's a time suck. So we built our own AI process using Bara AI to scrape our project management tool, contextualize project updates, and draft those reports for us. It's not perfect, but it saves hours of manual work. We still review the draft, our clients trust us and human connection is irreplaceable. So we place significant value on maintaining that trust. But. But AI helps by making it a seamless and consistent process to deliver high quality updates. Now imagine what that could look like for you. What repetitive tasks could you automate? Whether it's generating reports, writing emails, or analyzing data, there's probably an AI tool out there that can handle the heavy lifting. You don't need a PhD to get started. Tools like ChatGPT are more accessible than ever, and they're designed to be user friendly. Of course, jumping into AI can feel intimidating. Maybe you're worried it'll replace jobs, or that it's too complex to implement. So let's address those fears. First, history shows us that new technologies often create more opportunities than they take away. AI won't replace the creativity, strategy and empathy that only humans bring to the table. But what it can do is amplify those skills, helping you focus on the bigger picture. Second, remember that AI is a tool, one that requires thoughtful use. In my Fast Foundation Slack community, we're having conversations about how to use AI responsibly and ethically. Whether it's avoiding bias in algorithms or respecting data privacy, we're all learning together. So how do you take the leap? Here's what I would do. Start by identifying pain points. Ask yourself what tasks eat up your time but don't require deep creativity or strategy. Those are your automation targets. Then I'd explore accessible tools like ChatGPT and use them to brainstorm ideas and draft content or analyze customer feedback. Make sure you're continually learning and staying up to date along the way. AI developments move fast, so you want to be on top of it. You can join spaces like my Fast Foundation Slack community to share insights, learn from others, and get inspired by how fellow entrepreneurs are leveraging AI. Let's be clear, AI is an investment. There's an opportunity for entrepreneurs to capitalize on the market in many ways. It's up to you to decide if and how you take that leap. AI is here to stay, and the earlier you start experimenting with it, the faster you'll see the benefits. This is your moment. The AI revolution is just getting started, and there's room for all of us to thrive, not just the tech giants. If you're ready to explore how AI can transform your business, join the conversation at fastfoundations.com Slack let's figure it out together and make sure you're taking full advantage of this transformative moment. Shoot me a dm, share your ideas, or let's hop on a call. I want to hear how you're thinking about AI in your business. And as always, always, thanks for tuning in to the prompt.
