Jim Carter III explores AI clones and chatbots, how they're changing content creation and brand engagement, and shares his experience building them for clients. He covers market growth, industry trends, and the ethical questions these tools raise.
Foreign welcome to the Prompt, I'm Jim Carter. This show guarantees tech news and updates that shape your life and future. Since it's essential now to stay on top of AI, we'll figure it out together so you don't fall behind. I'm here to explain it, offer some deep insights and spark a little curiosity along the way. If you're a techie like me, or just AI curious, hit that follow button for the advantage you deserve. Let's dive in. Hey there. Welcome back to the Prompt, an AI powered podcast exploring what's possible with AI and my personal efforts in pushing the technology forward. Today we're diving into a fascinating and rapidly evolving world of AI clones and chatbots. I recently finished a client meeting that turned into a four and a half hour marathon session as we got lost in the imagination, creativity and the possibilities of AI clones and and their potential to really change how we interact with content creators, experts and even brands. By the end, we both left feeling so energized and inspired we probably could have talked for another four hours. Here's where I'm at. I'm clearer than ever in my vision of making AI clones and chatbots a new normal. In fact, it's already happening and it's gaining more popularity by the day. Just like we were Initially curious about ChatGPT and other AI tools, I believe one of the biggest opportunities coming up in 2024 is the ability to clone yourself. Or more accurately, to create AI powered clones of those we follow, trust and want to learn from. Here's the thing, we're all busy and those we follow on social networks, email, TV or other media platforms are constantly creating content trying to make us better. It's up to us to decide who we want to follow and whose content we want to consume. The biggest challenge we face is engaging with someone we want to learn from without getting overwhelmed by the amount of content to consume with what little time we have. While I can't name the client, if you're on YouTube, Instagram or TikTok and you've ever looked at trending content about relationships or love, you've likely seen their face. This client is not just a friend, but someone willing to take big risks because they believe the mission is greater than the modality. And that's what led to our incredible meeting where we went deep on the core concepts and ultimately came up with an insanely cool launch plan to bring their AI clone to their closest fans. The interesting thing about AI and working with a specialized knowledge base is that it opens our minds to what's possible and how we can interact with brands of all sizes. Think of a brand you know and love. It could be anything from Patagonia to Warby Parker to Nike or whatever comes to mind. There's a reason you love that brand. When you think about how you show up, how you identify, or more importantly, what products you consider buying, the trust goes both ways. You trust the brand because of its motives, ethos, and the way it makes you feel. And the brand takes a deep responsibility in those who represent them because they're in business for you. It's no different in the world of coaches, commerce and the expert industry, where people have made it their life's mission to get their message out there in bigger and better ways. As I've said before, I love looking around the corner before anyone else. And with artificial intelligence, this is one of many ways that if you're willing to take a little risk, you can look around the corner and see big returns. Today. We can use artificial intelligence to create and consume large amounts of content in a shorter time. For my clients, this means they can blow people away and be a part of something that nobody thinks is possible until it's right in front of them. Now, I love working one on one with clients and consulting on this, but I realize that's not for everyone. So I've decided, along with my CTO at Bara Agency, to create an option that will build one of these incredible clones out with my team, allowing you to stay focused on your mission while we build, customize, train and maintain your AI efforts. This is a brand new endeavor and if you're as excited as I am to look around that corner before it becomes common, shoot me a DM or connect with me however you can find me. And let's find a way to make your mission bigger than you think is possible. Okay, let's go a little further on this and zoom out to look at how the industry is changing. The landscape of AI chatbots and clones is rapidly evolving. Meta is launching numerous AI chatbots with different personalities in an attempt to boost engagement on its platforms. These chatbots are designed to have more human like conversations and may include unique Personas like a chatbot that speaks like Abraham Lincoln or one that gives travel advice in the style of a surfer. I'm a big data nerd who likes to make data driven decisions. So let's look at the facts. The chatbot market itself is expected to grow significantly, with estimates suggesting it could reach $20.8 billion by 2029, growing at a compound annual growth rate of 24% during the forecast period from 2024 to 2029. Additionally, startups like Mi4u are creating AI chatbots trained on content from online creators, allowing fans to engage in personalized dialogues with celebrity clones. These clones can generate revenue for celebrities based on user engagement. The way I see it, there's infinite potential with AI chatbots and clones, and just like anything, there are challenges and ethical considerations that need regulation. I'm testing this AI tech and walking my clients through it so that they too can innovate and leverage the potential of AI, often offering more time to focus on what they do best. I've had my own AI clone at Jim Carter.me for nine months now. It knows all my AI content, including the show, AI tools, and every newsletter I've written. This new one I'm testing is more than a chatbot. It's a true clone of all the work I put out, all the trainings, workshops, webinars, podcasts, and everything I've released. You can chat, text and even call it and it's freaking good. So if you're interested in exploring this further, shoot me a dm. Or if you're in my Slack community, that's the fastest way to connect with me. You can join me@fastfoundations.com Slack and I'd love to have you join. Look, if you want to be part of this revolutionary movement, now's the time to get in and get ahead before everyone else catches on. Reach out and let's make your mission bigger than you think is possible.
