Jeffrey Jaime explores whether vision training can cure ADHD and dyslexia, sharing personal experiences with dyslexia and how vision work improved his reading speed and comprehension.
Four children right now have a functional vision problem significant enough to impact learning.
I'm here basically because I've been struggling with dyslexia my whole life, largely most of my life, with it being undiagnosed and just kind of being this mysterious enigma. Monday, you read 118 words per minute. On Friday, 132 words per minute. So a little bit of an improvement there, but that's not really the cool part. Comprehension went from 70% accuracy to 100, 103 eye movements to 56. Less is better. The eye movements to read a paragraph in five days prove comprehension and speed.
