Are you curious what an online personal trainer actually does? Well, this is Ben Greenfield from BenGreenfieldFitness.com and I want you to sit back and watch this video from one of my new clients. This will be the first in a series of videos that's going to track her success.
I'm a 32 year old stay at home mom with 2 kids, 3 and 5. I began my weight loss quest about 15 years ago with the freshman 15 actually I wanted to do my weight loss right. So I hired a personal trainer and by the end of the three month program I actually gained fat. That began the quest for a weight loss program that would work for me. I've tried a lot of things. Here's some of the things I've tried. Low Fat Atkins Weight Watchers Tybut, Denise Austin Herb Life Bands, balls, weights, Chiropractic, acupuncture, cleanses, pills, Body for Life Running, walking, Horseback riding, Yoga, Leptin Resistance diets, Workout gyms, videos, Personal trainers, Fast the Best Life Diet We Fit and probably even more than that. On each program. I would start out strong.
For about three months, but they were either too time consuming.
Expensive, didn't fit into my lifestyle, they were really complicated to do, but most of all they never seemed to work. Most I've ever lost on a program was probably about 15 pounds. And then no matter what I did, it just seemed to come right back on.
No matter how much I stuck to the program.
About 2 years ago I was diagnosed with chronic fatigue and hypothyroidism. I have food allergies and a condition called coagulation defect. I've worked really hard in the last two years to get my health back in order. The doctors there were even hoping to help me lose weight. I was giving myself about six injections a day.
But I still wasn't able to maintain the weight loss even on their program as well. My main weight loss goal is to lose about 95 pounds. But secondly, I want to continue the health that I've worked so hard for. I want to make sure that that doesn't go downhill again. I want to be able to play with my kids and hike with my friends and bike with my husband and occasionally run a 5k maybe with my sister in law. I don't want to be a super athlete or a supermodel. I just want to live a normal life and live my life.
I'm extremely busy caring for my home and volunteering in my community. And with my food allergies and medical history and busy lifestyle, I can tell you what I won't stick to. I won't stick to a program that's complicated, that makes me measure and weigh and count things. I won't stick to a program that's expensive or complicated. It requires me to buy separate food for my family or make separate meals or that just basically sucks up my free time or my family time.
I will stick with something that's simple that I can do at home while I'm watching my kids.
And that works.
So this is my last chance. If you can't help me, I've pretty much given up, and I just can't do this again.
It just has sucked up my entire life. So.
I do know that if you can help me.
You can help anybody.
