A short segment of a YouTube conversation (created/uploaded by Jeffrey Jaime, CISSP) where Speaker A and Ben Greenfield discuss two topics: recent AI advances that build personalized shopping "aisles" (automatically populating a member's cart based on onboarding) and the nutrition/storage benefits of flash-freezing fruits and vegetables—especially leafy greens, which decay quickly over weeks.
What's been really interesting in the last, like, 18 to 24 months, which is the time to AI is we've gone one step further in helping members build the cart, like, basically for them. So, like, it used to be when you came on Thrive, you would take an onboarding quiz and you would get popped into. We called it my aisle. So I was like. Like, the way I described it is like, imagine a, you know, a magical store experience where instead of having to walk down every aisle and find the stuff that's relevant for you, it's, like, all in one place.
I could just walk in and have the Ben Greenfield aisle, which would be.
Like, avocado.
Dark chocolate, sardine, blueberry.
With meat and seaf. There's really no difference in nutrient quality, as most people know. You can leave it in the freezer for a long time. Where it's really impactful in a positive way is flash freezing the pointed pig for any fruit or veg, particularly, like, leafy greens, which have, like, a precipitous decay curve over a matter of weeks.
