Hi, I'm Ben Greenfield with Para Sports, which is a great way to get live biofeedback during your workouts. One of the exercises that you're going to encounter during your pair workout is called the corkscrew. Now, a corkscrew is a great way to trim your waistline and also to get nice shoulders. And I'm going to show you a.
Couple tips for doing.
A corkscrew right now. To begin, you'll get into the push up position. Now, I recommend that you be on your fists rather than having your your hands placed on the ground. Once you're in this position, you want to focus on keeping your core tight and your midsection zipped up from your belly button all the way up to your sternum or that bone in the middle of your chest. From here, you're simply going to rotate and as you rotate, reach for the sternum.
It's going to be a little bit harder when you're in the fist because there's a smaller area to balance on, but that's what makes it more effective.
Once you're done, you rotate back down to that push up position. Then you simply repeat to the other side.
And that would be one rep to each side. So that's called the corkscrew exercise. It's a great way again to work your waistline, work your shoulders, and get a little bit of balance too. So I hope that helps you out.
