Hi, I'm Ben Greenfield with Para Sports. A great way to get live biofeedback during your workouts One of the exercises that you'll encounter during your pair sports workout is called a single arm deadlift. This is a great way to teach yourself not only how to generate more force from your legs, but also how to get a stronger low back, burn a lot of calories, and tone your hips, butt and thighs. For the single arm deadlift, you'll simply get a dumbbell or any weight. Stand over that weight as if you're straddling the weight. Put one arm behind your back, which will help you keep a hand on your back and help you keep your back straight and maintain good form. From this position, you'll simply reach down while looking forward or slightly up. Grab that dumbbell, pick it up, stand tall and return to the ground. Let it touch the ground and then pick it up again. I'm keeping my back straight, my butt out behind me, and my weight on my heels. So that's how to do a arm deadlift. I hope that was helpful.
