YouTube video (Ben Greenfield) demonstrating sleep-enhancement strategies and a non-nicotine vaping product. Greenfield shows use of infrared light and blue‑blocking glasses, and demonstrates a Vapor Boost product called “Sweet Dreams” — an e‑liquid (non‑nicotine) containing melatonin, passionflower, L‑theanine, and chamomile — that he vaporizers/puffs into his mouth to aid falling asleep. He explains device operation (fill cartridge, press button ~0.5s, hold vapor in mouth ~5–7s) and cautions to avoid nicotine. He also mentions a BenGreenfieldFitness.com discount (about 10% and free shipping) for the product.

Welcome to what might possibly be the creepiest video that I've ever shot for my YouTube channel. And I'll tell you why in just a second.
First of all, I've got my infrared light shining in the corner. It's a good way to get you to sleep at night. Second of all, I've got my creepy glasses on. These are my blue light blocking glasses. And yes, they do have a creepy factor to them. And third, I am smoking what appears to be an E cigarette. However, it's not. I talked about this a little bit in Ben Greenfield Fitness episode 303, which you can listen to@BenGreenfieldFitness.com 303 I'm always experimenting with ways that you can enhance sleep, get better sleep, spend more time during the night in deeper stages of sleep. And sometimes that is things like the glasses or the infrared light rather than regular light in the bedroom before you go to bed at night. And sometimes it's supplements. I've talked about things like melatonin. I've talked about things like Passion Flower, magnesium, all sorts of things that can help you get to sleep. And now that vaporizing and E cigarettes and things of that nature are getting more popular, you can actually get vapor, what's called E liquid in a form that doesn't have nicotine in it, meaning something that's not carcinogenic. Something that even though you see vapors and they look like smoke, it's not smoke. It's just the same as steam, for example. It's just a completely harmless propylene glycol is what it's called that any of the active compounds in vaping liquid is dissolved in. And the particular liquid that I have in here.
Is called Sweet Dreams. Sweet dreams. I'll show you what it looks like here. It's by a company called Vapor Boost. You can get a discount on it if you go to BenGreenfieldFitness.com VaporBoost this is melatonin, Passionflower L theanine. There's one other component in here that was chamomile. That's right, chamomile. So four different things that are natural relaxants. But they get extremely well absorbed because they're passing in through the mucous membranes in your mouth. You don't even need to inhale something like this. You just get this little liquid cigarette. You pour the liquid in here. See this top screws off. You pour the liquid in here. The bottom is just a vaping battery. You push the button, you hold down the button for about a half second. And then you just take a few puffs.
Now, normally, I'd hold it for just a little bit longer. I like to hold it for about five to seven seconds in my mouth. But five to seven seconds of silence would be bad video.
Anyways, though, what happens is a lot of this gets absorbed through the membranes in your mouth and you don't even have to breathe into your lungs. Now, I've found that I get better results when I actually puff it into my mouth and then swallow like I'm swallowing that vapor. And then I'll hold that for a little while and then I'll breathe out. So I'll show you what it looks like, basically.
You don't get much more creepy than that, huh? Anyways, though, this stuff works. I sleep like a baby when I use this. It's amazing, especially after a day of being kind of, like, hardwired at work. Really amazing. So you can try it out. You might get some funny looks. I've had to explain to my kids, for example, that I'm not in bed smoking an E cigarette, explaining the difference between this and other things that are potentially unharmful. But check it out@BenGreenfieldFitness.com VaporBoost and if you go to BenGreen Fitness.com VaporBoost I believe it's 10% discount and free shipping is what you get on the liquid. And then if you need one of these little devices to vape it in, you can get one of these devices.
Stay away from nicotine, kids. It's not that great for you, especially when you vape it. It can be a little bit carcinogenic, but some of these other things are perfectly safe and natural. Enjoy. Sleep tight. I'm Ben Greenfield, ending this creepy video right now. Good night.
