Hey, it's Ben Greenfield here. Just sweating after coming off the grinder downstairs. And I want to show you a quick overview of what kind of stuff to bring if you're gonna do the Sailfit Academy, plus the Kokoro camp because I got all my gear kind of just yard sailed out here on my bed. So I figure I will show it to you. Try not to annoy my roommates too much. Not catching you guys in your skivvies back there, am I? No, you're fine. All right, so cool. Here's. Here we go. So first of all, I've got six water bottles. So basically I will have two for right pre evolution and this will be more for Kokoro because there's not going to be a lot of time to get fuel in. Two for during and two for after. Okay, so six water bottles total. I've got them all labeled with my name so they don't get mixed up. And then what I'm going to actually use for fuel, some kind of like paleo folks who make like this paleo really clean endurance stuff. In my pre water bottles, I'm going to use this pre workout Raw tea by my video is a little blurry here, but it's natural force. And then for my during the evolutions, I'll use this endurance stuff which is like chia seeds mixed with some carbs, a little bit of protein and then some post workout recovery nectar with aminos in it and that'll go in the post workout bottle. I'm also going to do some shots of Vespa about midday. That's that one wasp juice extract stuff that basically kind of keeps you flying high all day. Just a nice clean bar in case I need solid food that burns clean. That's just like a vegan recovery bar from Hammer Nutrition. And then one more pre workout for like my second pre workout of the day when I need like an afternoon kick for some ATP, some caffeine, that X2 performance. Okay, so that's pretty much it for nutrition. I'm keeping things pretty simple, like from a supplementation standpoint, mostly just focusing on fuel.
So what else you're gonna want? A backpack. I got that backpack off the Navy SEAL website. That's just the voodoo pack, just like an internal frame pack, pretty plain black, labeled my name. That's a Nike dry fit shirt. Okay. Brought down eight of those and they're stenciled front and back with my last name. My kids did that for me, as you can see. Didn't do too bad. So next, socks really important. They have liners in your socks for the bigger workout. So this is a liner and then this one is like a wool sock. Okay. So you can get this like Nike or Wigwam. Then the liner is made by Wigwam. Okay. And these are going to go inside the boots. Boots I brought are the Nike Special field boot and then a pair of tennis shoes as well. I brought the vivobarefoot tennis shoes just because they tend to drain real well and hold up to a lot of mud and grit and dirt and stuff like that. But you can also run in them. Underwear, basically, the Nike Pro Combats built just for this kind of stuff. And then for underneath the long pants, the Nike Pro Combat tights. You can see them, they look like this. Pretty basic. Just a really good compression tight for wearing underneath the shorts and underneath the pants. So shorts, you could get like a Navy Seal WOD short. This is the High Elite WAD short. But they're quick drying submersible shorts. They work really well. Just a basic black short. And then over here, these are the BDU Ripstock pants from the Navy SEAL website. Same thing, Just three of those. Pretty basic. One BDU utility belt. These things come big. I had to burn mine off with a cigarette lighter and make it a little bit shorter. But at least one utility belt and then just a few other things for a little bit more comfort. Cool feet. You can sprinkle this inside. Shoes, socks and stuff so you don't get blisters. Seat saver, that's for the crotch in between the toes. This is all made by Hammer Nutrition. And then a little bit of magnesium just for the end of the day. Just helps with soreness. A little bit in the muscles. So that's just a topical magnesium lotion. Grab some goggles. I recommend Blue 70 for goggles. They make good stuff for open water swimmers. And yeah, that's about it. That's a basic overview of what you need. If you have questions, leave them below this post. I'm happy to reply. I'll put links where you could go stuff. But yeah, have fun. If you come down and read the rest of my post for more tips. All right, later.
