Hey, you guys, it's Ben Greenfield. You like my hair? I just got done interviewing Katie Bowman, author of the book Move youe DNA. Now, when this interview comes out, you're gonna be able to grab it over@BenGreenfieldFitness.com MoveYourDNA but this one was really, really cool in terms of shattering movement myths. Like, for example, we talked about how standing all day at a standing workstation could actually be bad for you. And the actual type of mats and anti fatigue strategies that Kati uses so she doesn't get things like varicose veins from doing stuff like that. We talked about why Kati isn't a fan of pillows or mattresses. This was kind of weird. I differed with her on this point, but we had a good discussion about it either way. We talked about the really interesting, like, first Forest School that Katie's kids go to, which was really intriguing. And I have some great links for you in the show notes for this episode too. Regarding that, we talked about Kegel exercises and why Kegel exercises are not a good thing and Kati is not a fan of them. We talked about why sucking in your stomach all day and holding in your abs is also not a good thing and could be actually weakening your core rather than strengthening it. So a ton of kind of controversial things and thinking outside the box in this particular interview. So again, when this comes out, you're gonna be able to check it out@BenGreenfieldFitness.com MoveYourDNA and as usual, if you enjoy this episode, go over to itunes, leave a review. It'll help the show, it'll help other people to find the show. And I think you're gonna really enjoy this one with Katie Bowman, the author of the book Move your DNA. All right, thanks for watching.
