Jen Booth shows how to identify your body shape in 30 seconds by looking at your shoulders, waist, and hips, then sorting yourself into one of five letter categories. She argues the real mistake isn't what women wear but how they talk to themselves about their bodies.

Want to know your body shape? You can get a pretty good idea in less than 30 seconds. So stand in front of a mirror and look at just 3 things: your shoulders, your waist, which is like the thinnest part here on you, and then your hips. Shoulders and hips pretty balanced with a defined waist, you're probably an X. You know, shoulders and hips balanced but less definition through your waist, you're probably an H. You know, hips wider than your shoulders, you're probably an A. Shoulders wider than your hips, you're probably a V. And if you carry more fullness through your center with less waist definition, you're probably an O. But this next part may be more important than knowing your letter. All bodies are beautiful. You know, my niece is currently at an age where I hear her say negative things about her body, and we talk about it because I want her to understand the power of the words she uses about herself. You know, your body is listening to the way you speak about it. So an H isn't better than an O, an X isn't better than an A, and a V isn't something that you need to fix. These letters are not grades. You know, they're just simply a language that helps you understand your proportions so you can make more intentional choices. That's what the Beauty Code is really about. It's not teaching women how to fix themselves. It's giving women the tools to understand themselves and the language to speak about themselves differently. So yes, discover your letter, but whatever letter you are, your body was never the problem.
