You're not going to get judged for your question being too much, too little, whatever. It's a great resource for you that you can use on your journey to grow your business is to ask questions in there now as well. If you haven't checked out my new course, Irresistible Offers that sell, it's only $57. And I walk you through exactly how to create sales offers that are going to sell to your target customer. It's everything that I've been walking my one on one coaching clients through and that I've done over the years to sell hundreds of products online that have generated millions of dollars. I condensed it and distilled it all down into this course for you, for you to get more results. Now on this episode, I want to talk about how you are connecting with, communicating with, talking to your target customer and how to get better at this. One of the biggest things that I noticed that a lot of people do in their business is they know that they have a good product or service. They know who their target customer is, but they're talking at their target customer. They're just telling their target customer what they should do and then getting frustrated when nobody's taking action. And so the reason why this is frustrating is because you're saying all the right things that should be producing a result, right? You're connecting with the right person. You're talking with them about the value that they're going to experience. You know, everything's aligned, but you get crickets, you get no results. And really, this is a small, tiny tweak. What it is, is we have to learn how do our target customers need to experience us, how do they need us to connect with them? It's not about how we need them to connect with us and, and how we want them to connect with us. It's about how does that person who's going to be buying from me, how do they need me to show up for them and to connect with them. And this is a shift in your thinking because it requires an extreme level of empathy. If you've heard me talking on my podcast, on my videos, every single day on my social media, I talk about empathy. And I believe that empathy is the key to successful online sales and marketing because you have to be able to feel the market, feel what your target customers are feeling, be able to know their thoughts, basically think the thoughts that they're thinking. You have to get inside of their head. You have to know what your target customer is thinking before they think it. Without any data or way of knowing that. And you might say, well, that's impossible. I can't read minds. Well, no, we're not expecting you to read minds at all. That's. That's not valid. What you need to learn how to do is read between the lines and get feedback from your target customer. You need to get them to say things to you and connect with you and talk with you and talk back with you, and then read between the lines of what they're saying. That's where you're going to find the needs that they have and the way that they need you to show up for them. And even the methods of communication. Are they using messenger? Are they using comments on social media? How are they wanting to communicate and connect with you the most? Are they scheduling calls with you? Is it over email? You're learning how your target customer wants you to show up for them. And this is one of the biggest areas that I think that if you can start to get this, you start to tweak it. It might not be natural for you, it might not be how you want to connect with them, but it's the way that they need you to connect with them. And so if you're not showing up with where your buyers are the way that your buyers need you to show up for them to buy from you, nobody is going to buy from you. And so this has to do with what platforms you're using. This has to do with how you're connecting with them. This has to do with the language that you're using. This has to do with the framing. How are you framing what you're selling? When we talk about framing, it's. It's. How do we. What perspective are we putting on this? Are we putting a perspective of guilt and shame? Are we putting a perspective of hope and joy and victory and happiness of what they're going to accomplish? Are we empowering? Are we tearing them down? Are we showing that we're going to Come alongside them or are we expecting them to do all the work for us? And so essentially this is the nuance and the balance of. That's how you want to connect and communicate. You have to first start by learning how do they need you to show up? So I want you to look at a. Who are the people in your industry that are already selling to people, similar products and services to you? Okay. What methods are they using to sell? Think about that. Okay, so think about the people. They might not be doing exactly what you're doing, by the way, because you might say, well, I'm the only person in my industry that's doing this. Okay, great, I give you that. But there's other people that are selling things that are maybe 10% similar to what you're doing. Not exactly. So what's within that like 10 to 15% of what's similar to what you're selling? And how are they reaching their target customers? Right. I talk with a lot of coaches, teachers, authors, influencers, speakers. I work with a lot of people that are in network marketing, that are in E commerce, that are in affiliate marketing. And everyone's looking for, well, what's the secret for my niche? You're going to learn that by having connection with them, by showing up the way that people that are within 10% of your product or service, the way that they connect with their customers. So let me, let me break this down for you. Elon Musk selling electric cars. Before he sold those electric cars, nobody was selling electric cars. Right? That's unique. But people were buying cars from other automakers, they were buying hybrids, they were buying high end cars. So he had to look at, okay, who are the buyers of high end cars and hybrids and what do they want and what's not being served in the market and how are my competitors, BMW and Toyota communicating with these people? And so then by him showing up in the market the way that they expected, using the same language, using the same communication that they were already used to by, by research. This is the market research. You're going to have to intentionally do a little bit of work to learn this. What do they want and how do, this is what Elon had to do. How do we best connect with those buyers of those brands to buy our car? That has never existed before. It's been a lot of other electric cars that have been out there, but nothing took off until the Tesla did. And so that all started by learning to show up for the people that would buy these other brands, Mercedes Benz, these different high end brands they weren't exactly what his product was. But how was his product sold to the buyers of his product that are buying other products from other companies? You get that? Now translate that to your business. Your CBD oil. Okay, who is selling either other CBD oils or other nutritional products? How are they showing up with people? Your online course, somebody might not be teaching Broadway vocals, but they're teaching guitar lessons. They're teaching really what I'm teaching. How does an online teacher see it doesn't matter what your thing is that you're selling. The methodology is the same across the board. Humans are. Humans are. Humans are humans. They react and they respond to other humans that way. You may possibly have a belief that you are so unique enough in the market that your customers respond differently than the way that they have with millions of other products that are in your niche. And that's not true. They respond exactly the way that they respond to your competitors. They respond exactly the way that they respond to your competitors. Competitors. And so you're going to have to actually even use some of the same language. Your website's gonna have to look very similar. Your videos, you're gonna have to show up to your target customer in the way that they need you to show up for them, the way that they are used to people showing up for them instead of trying to be so unique and so original and so out there with yourself because you know the value that you bring to the table. And yes, I'm not denying that. I truly believe that whatever you're selling is unique, is different, is incredible. I believe that what I offer to people in my business, Jeremiah Krakowski.com is better than most of anything else that's out there in this niche. And the people that buy from me agree with that. And yet I have to connect and communicate the same way that everybody else who's in this industry does, because that's the way that people are used to. Now, how do you protect against being just another voice out there? You see, that's the. That's the. That's the flip side of this conversation, right? So if you're showing up the way that your competitors are to your target customer, how do you prevent from just being another me, too product or service? Well, you present in the same way, as a template, a lot of the same language, and you demonstrate what your unique selling points are, what makes you unique? What is your niche? Who are you specifically talking to? Who are those target customers that you specifically serve? And so by communicating and connecting with those people in the way that they need you to show up while simultaneously demonstrating what makes you unique. And you're not talking at them. That's the other thing. You're not talking at your target customer when you're selling to them, you're talking with them. You're showing them that you're going to come alongside them, that you're going to be there for them to support them, that the value that you are offering to the table is what they want and you're delivering to your target customer or what they want. People only buy on emotion, what they want, regardless of if that's what they need, period. And so if you can speak to that, if you can bring up people's level of emotion and they can say, yes, I need that, you will get them to buy from you. And that's exactly what I walk you through in my course. Irresistible offers that sell is how to create offers that do that. The nuance of this is it's going to take you, it could take you years to do this. It takes a lot of time. By the way, some of you are looking for results in less than 30 days, 60 days to what has never taken any business on the planet Earth less than a couple years to do. So I want to ask you this. What makes you think that what, what has taken a billion dollar companies years to learn that you're going to learn in 30 days there? You're not, you're gonna, it's gonna take you some time to learn this stuff of how do you show up with, how do you connect with your target customer? How is the way that they need you to connect with them? That's part of the process. And so you're gonna have to commit to a couple years of this. A couple years of showing up for your target customer, a couple years of listening to them and things not going perfectly, things not working out, things not selling so that you can bring new products to the market, bring new offers to the market and keep showing up for the people that need you to show up for them, you're not going to grow a business on this one offering. It's a process where you learn what your target customer needs. You grow in your personal ability to know how to sell to them by listening, by having empathy for who they are, where they're at. You make everything that you do all about your target customer. It's not about you, it's not about what you want, it's not about what you need. I get it, you need sales, you need to pay your bills. But showing up with those needs when you're selling doesn't work. You need to show up as what you're doing. Target customer needs. You need to show up with what their desires are by connecting with them the way that they need you to connect with them, not the way that you want them to connect with you. This happens by getting into the weeds, getting down and dirty, talking with either potential customers that are buying products that are similar to what you're doing. The whole, you know, you might, you, you might be selling electric cars and there might be the only electric car on the market, but who else is buying cars? Listen to other of those people that are similar, not the same as what you're doing, that are in the niche. If there's, if there's people that are already buying the same niche as yours, listen to those people as well, by the way. But I know a lot of you have told me, you know, I'm unique. I'm the only thing that's out there. That's exactly what I do. Okay, great. So who is, at least if you're a fitness coach, who is coaching people to improve their life? I mean, you know, there's, that's like, what is the result that people are wanting, what are they expecting out of this? And then listen to people, have conversations, have human to human conversations with the people that will buy from you, not just the ones that are interacting with you. Engagement for engagement sake is worthless. Big numbers on your social media following is absolutely worthless if they don't fit into who's going to purchase from you. And so you want to focus on who will be a buyer of mine. How do I find those buyers? How do I connect with them now how do you find more buyers if you get in front of enough of them? You can promote your products and services through Facebook ads, through ad campaigns to then build an audience, to then create a lookalike audience which will find the millions of people on social media that are similar to those that will buy what you're offering. Okay. And so when you do that, when you show up in that way to people, you're able to connect with your target customer. You, you're able to find more people that are into what you're offering. Doesn't have to be exact, could be within 5 to 10%. But they want what you're selling and you connect with them and you meet them the way that they need you to show up for them. A lot of the people that I talk with, they have again, great products and services, but they're not connecting the way that Their, their buyers need them to connect. They're connecting the way that they want their buyers to connect, and that's disconnected. So you're gonna have to learn how does your buyer need you to connect with them. And then you show up there in that way, consistently, not talking at them, but with them, coming alongside them to be a leader. You're leading people to make their life better. You're leading people to improvement. You're leading people to experience something better than what they are experiencing now. Some of you as well might have such a broad audience. Well, you know, who doesn't want to lose weight? Who doesn't want to have better mental health? Everybody. Okay, but you're gonna have to niche down if that's you. If you think that you're too broad, you're gonna have to niche down to. Okay, yeah, but are they, who are they connecting with? Are they. Are they connecting with you because of that desire or because there's trust and rapport built? People buy because of trust and rapport that's built. People are gonna buy from you because of what makes you unique. And so you wanna demonstrate that, and you hold these two things in the balance. And you show up in the unique way that your target customer needs you to show up. You connect with people in that unique way and that will draw them and attract them to what you're selling. And then you create or source products and services that those people want and you give it to them. You create products and services that are what those people want and you give it to them. You might say, well, that's not what I want to give to them. Great. Enjoy being broke. Look, that's the fact. For you to sell online, you're going to have to show up the way that people want you to show up to buy what they want. And then you will be able to, as trust and rapport is built, lead them to other things. But just expecting to show up and people just to buy something because it's a good idea, because you want them to, because you think they should. Nobody's going to buy that. You're not going to make somebody do what you want them to do. There's no trick, strategy or way to do that with people. You got to show up by building trust and rapport with people. Get to know other humans. Develop your people skills of getting to know other people. Got a cat in the screen. Hey, kitty. Develop your people skills of getting to know other people better than they even know themselves better than you know your product. It's all about how Can I help serve other people? How can I help other people reach their goals? Not how can I help them do what I think that they should do? See, that's a difference. How can I help other people reach their goals is not the same as how can I help other people do what I think they should do. That's where the disconnect is often. And so you have to shift and change your thought process on what it means to help other people. You have to shift and change your thought process on what it means to show up for these people. You have to shift and change your thought process on what it means to to deliver value to people by learning what they want, by learning what their biggest problems and frustrations are. Yes, you may have a solution that they need, but until they know that you care about what they're dealing with, they're never going to buy from you. But you got to show your buyers, I see often people, they're getting a lot of engagement, but they're not a buying audience. Stop wasting your time with people that are not going to buy from you on your social media. Stop wasting your time in your marketing from people that you believe that you can help, that you want to help, that are never going to buy from you. I know that that sounds a little bit harsh, but I think that that's a big lane and a big area that I think a lot of you need to learn is. Just because you can help somebody doesn't mean that you need to or should show up for the people that are going to spend money with you on a consistent basis. As you do that, as you grow that, as you grow your cash flow, you will be able to then show up for the people that you want to serve with that resource. But you're never going to get that resource to serve those people until you show up for the people that want what you're selling. Keep showing up for those people on a regular basis. Keep showing up for the people that are willing to give you money. Serve them first. Be faithful with the little bit that you have in front of you first. As a business owner, that's going to help accelerate your ability to sell in your business is by showing up for the people that are going to buy from you and delivering value to those people. So who's gonna buy from me? Not who's engaging with me, not who's liking my content on social media, not who's who I think I can help who's gonna spend money with me, show up for those people and communicate and connect with just These people, who's gonna buy from me? When you do that and you serve them and you learn how they need you to connect, your business will grow. I know far too often people are way too stuck on how do I show up for the way that I can make them do what I want them to do instead of how do I connect and serve people that are going to buy from me. It's a lot simpler than you guys have been making it in your head. Not simpler than I've been making it in my head. It's a lot simpler than I think all of us do. I think this is the biggest factor that separates a successful business owner from one that's not. As you have people, they have a, they have a dream, they have a desire, but they're not connecting with people that are going to buy from them. I don't care how much of a visionary you are, if you're not delivering products and services that people want, nobody is going to buy from you. You got to show up there first, start there first and then you can deliver what people want. Now, if you've got millions or billions of dollars to spend on advertising, you can kind of cheat on this. You don't need to show up exactly at that. But I know a lot of the people that listen to my podcast don't have a lot of the financial resources to just blow in testing and making a market. Okay? So if that's you, you absolutely have to sell to the people that want to buy from you. You have to deliver what they want first. Then as you grow in that financial resource, you can reach people and broaden your market. You can shift it, you can adjust it, you can create a market that does cost money to do. So in the beginning, if you're a business owner, that's in the beginning that's just trying to get your first sale. You have to show up the way that people need you to show up for them to deliver what they want want, and that will bring in the cash flow for you.
