The Word of God is the primary way that we hear Him, and the Lord can also choose to speak prophetically to you. Here are 3 ways a prophetic message can get to you. Number 1, dreams. When it was time to leave, they returned to their own country by another route, for God had warned them in a dream not to return to Herod. Don't discount the dreams God sends your way. Number 2, visions. One night, the Lord spoke to Paul in a vision. Do not be afraid. Keep on speaking. Do not be silent. Visions, of course, are still for today. Number 3, declarations. But if I say, I will not mention his word or speak anymore in his name, his word is in my heart like a fire, a fire shut up in my bones. I am weary of holding it in. Indeed, I cannot.
