I know that deep within your heart, there's a strong desire to see your loved ones saved. You know the joy of having received Christ. You know what it is to be set free, and that is why it can be so heartbreaking when loved ones continue to resist and ignore the Lord. Thankfully, the Holy Spirit draws people to Jesus, and He chooses to work through the preaching of the Gospel. So here are 3 ways that you can partner with the Holy Spirit in introducing your loved ones to Jesus. Number one, present the truth. Don't hold back on preaching the truth, that sinners need the Savior, that salvation is freely offered to those who believe on the Lord Jesus. Now, this doesn't mean that you have a license to be rude. Let the truth do its own work. There's no need to soften it or make it harsher than it needs to be. Just let truth be truth. And then he told them, go into all the world and preach the good news to everyone. Number 2, practice purity. Hypocrisy weakens your witness. I don't mean that you have to be perfect to share the gospel, but your life must be a demonstration that you actually believe what you say you believe. Look at what Jesus said: If you are filled with light, with no dark corners, then your whole life will be radiant, as though a floodlight were filling you with light. Your light shines brightest when it shines consistent. Number three: Pray for the lost. Prayer softens the heart of the non-believer, creates divine. appointments for them and pushes back against the darkness that's trying to envelop them. For example, Paul prayed for Israel. Dear brothers and sisters, the longing of my heart and my prayer to God is for the people of Israel to be saved. While we should desire the salvation of our loved ones, it's important to remember that even as you do your part in sharing the gospel, ultimately, the Holy Spirit is the one doing the work. So even though we're often well-intentioned, Believers become so fear-driven in their evangelism that they witness from a place of tension and burden rather than faith in God. And this affects the way they present the gospel, which can unintentionally push people away. Trying to play the Holy Spirit, many Christians confuse judgmental nagging for loving evangelism. Remember to rely on the Holy Spirit when sharing the gospel. That's where prayer comes in. You're not the Savior. Do your part, but then entrust them to God in prayer.
