Five signs show you're walking with God: deep love for Scripture, loss of interest in sin, inner peace amid chaos, Christ-like character, and spiritual power through evangelism and healing. The fourth sign, Christ-like character, matters most.
What are the signs that you're walking with the Holy Spirit? Here are 5. Number 1, you have a love for God's Word. When you live in the Spirit, your mind is set on the things of the Spirit. This includes the Scripture. Number 2, sin begins to lose its appeal. While we're all works in progress, those who are surrendered to the Holy Spirit will notice that the things of this world just don't appeal like they used to. Number 3, you live in a confident calm. Those who walk in the Spirit keep their calm when everyone else around them is panicking. They have peace, even in the most tragic or high-pressure situations. Number 4, they demonstrate the character of Christ. This, in my opinion, is one of the most important signs of the work of the Holy Spirit in you. And number 5 is power. While power alone doesn't prove you have the Holy Spirit, those who walk in the Spirit will see power flow through them: evangelism, healing, deliverance, prophecy, dreams, and visions.
