Jeremiah Tipton offers a prayer for people who feel spiritually distant from God. He asks God to teach believers to live by faith rather than feelings, and to strengthen their endurance through trials and confidence in God's word.
Chapters
Father, in the name of Jesus. Pray in the Spirit. I believe he wants to do something right now. Lord, I lift that one to you now who feels like you're a million miles away. And I pray, Father, that you would teach that one to live by faith and not by feelings, to live by confidence in your word and not confidence in their emotions. Lord, we thank you. That he that is joined to the Lord is one spirit with him. We thank you that you'll never leave us or forsake us. We thank you that you're an ever-present help in time of need. And I ask you, Lord, in this moment now, strengthen that one receiving this. Strengthen their faith. Give them the grace to endure these trials, this season, the disappointment, the heartache. Give them the grace to endure. With their faith intact. Lord, not just barely surviving, but faith that thrives in the name of Jesus. Mature them, test them, purify them in this season. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. I want you to say it because you believe it. Say a big amen.
