A worship leader invites the Holy Spirit to manifest among believers, asking that people set aside their burdens and become more like Jesus. The prayer ends with a collective amen from the congregation.
Precious Holy Spirit, we pray that you would feel at home here with us. We've got nothing to offer without you. And so, Lord, we pray that as we stand here with hearts filled with faith, that you would cause your presence to manifest among us. Amen. Father, we've been ruined for anything but the true, the glorious, the powerful manifestation of your presence. And so, Lord, we invite that precious Holy Spirit with hands lifted and with eyes closed. We lay aside that which troubles the mind. We lay aside that which burdens the soul. Holy Spirit, we ask you cause us to see Jesus, to love Jesus, to be more like Jesus. And all of God's people who agreed said amen.
