God's purpose for the church is multiplication, but Satan's is division. The speaker warns against divisive people who use slander and gossip to pit others against each other, breaking friendships, marriages, and churches. Recognizing and avoiding these toxic influences protects the unity of the body of Christ.
If God's agenda for the church is multiplication, then Satan's agenda for the church is division. Be careful of people like this, divisive people who like to slander, who like to gossip, who like to pit 2 people against each other, who like to break up friendships and break up marriages and break up churches and break up Bible studies. Why? Because they're sowing seeds of discord, and in so doing, they're participating in the mission of hell.
