A devotional about becoming empty of yourself so God can work through you. The speaker prays for every part of his body—hands, eyes, ears, mouth, feet, heart—to become instruments of God's will, citing John 3:30 and the example of Enoch, who walked so close with God that God took him.

There is no limit to what God can do with a life surrendered to the Holy Spirit. It's not a matter of how gifted you are, how charismatic you are, how intelligent you are, how connected you are, how wealthy you are, how educated you are. It's a matter of how surrendered you are to the Holy Spirit. John 3:30 declares, I must decrease And he must increase. When I read, for example, of Enoch walking with God for so long and so closely that God took him, he simply was not. And when I read that, I said, Lord Jesus, I want to be a was not too. I want to be an empty space through which your Holy Spirit can have influence. And from the depths of my spirit, a prayer erupted: Lord, let my hands be your hands. Heal through them. Let my eyes be your eyes. See through them and cause me to see like you see. Let my ears be your ears. I want to hear your voice. Let my mouth be your mouth. I want to declare your truth. Lord, let my feet be your feet. Take me where it is that you want me to go. Let my being be one with your being. Let my heart beat as one with yours. Crucify my will and in its place resurrect your own. Amen.
