You've got to slow down. And I'm not saying you can't be productive. I'm not saying that you can't have a full schedule. I'm not saying that you can't be ambitious about your goals and try to succeed in various different areas of your life. I think that's good. God wants you to build and create and expand and become better. That's all necessary. But what I am saying is the attitude, the mind, the heart are those going at the pace of grace. In your schedule, is there time to be kind? Is there time to be reflective of the nature of Christ? Is there time to spend listening for the voice of the Holy Spirit? We must learn to slow down the pace of mind and heart. Again, not saying that we can't be productive or have a full schedule, but I'm saying that in your mind and in your heart, there has to be this intentional way of living that invites the influence and the voice of the Holy Spirit.
